Great info - thanks! I've been wanting to use my V977 since I got a Jumper T16 over a year ago but thought it was going to be too much of a hassle to set up but this looks pretty easy.
Not sure what the question is. How to set up the FS-i6 to work with a tarot fbl zyx 2? If so you have make sure the receiver on your heli is compatable(uses the right protocols).
Can I use same setup for Turnigy 9xr pro channel assignments ch1 = AIL ch2 = ELE ch3 = TRO ch4 = RUD ch5 = Dual Rates = high \ low DR = sGEA ch 6 = throttle hold = sTHR ch 7 = Idle up = sAIL ch 8 = 6G or 3G = sELE ch 9 = Pitch trim = use P1 \ P2 \ P3
I do not have that radio but it should work. You may want to check some forums, try looking for V977 with your TX. It'll work for V950, there's more info available on the internet for V977. Hope that helps.
Hi! What type of Transmitter and Heli? There are a bunch of forums for most popular heli’s. A quick google search might help you. I’ll try to respond if I can.👍🏻
How to calibrate the gyros at V950 or perform trim flight? Or isnt there any trim flight or gyro calibration at the V950 like with the K110? I am using Taranis.
Silberner Surfer I have not found a way that I know of to Trim Flight/Calibrate. I’ve always just checked swash level, even out the positive and negative pitch with the V950. There are some folks that have changed out the Rx Board and tail motor to improve the performance. Check out RCgroups, kiwicraig and the others there are very helpful.
kuna D You can search for a multi-protocol that will work for your specific transmitter. I bought mine at banggood, not selling that specific one anymore. RCgroup forums is an excellent place for information. What transmitter are you using?
Ch 1 & 4 should be Reversed. With The V977 power the V977 first. The led on the V977 should be blinking to try to bind. Then turn on TX and bind with TX. Sorry, I don't have your TX...hope this helps.
Sean Douglas If you use a multiprotocol for your TX it enables your TX to “talk” to whatever RX is already on the aircraft. Provided that the multiprotocol you use has the right protocols for that brand of aircraft.
hey great vid! Quick Q's can this TX be used for rc flight sims with a adaptor? And would that be usb? And if it does work for sims would ya know if it work on a mac? Thanks dude!
This TX can be used for rc flight sims. Unfortunately on good Heli sim for Mac I found was "Heli-X". Great sim though, you could always run Windows on your Mac by using Bootcamp, that'll give you more options. You would need to purchase a flight sim cable, just make sure you get the right cable for the connector at the back of the TX.
Regina L. Do I used a regular audio jack and soldered connections to the PPM port inside the transmitter. If you google “FS-i6 PPM pinout” there will be pictures of the PPM pinout. The Multiprotocol needs to see signal and ground. Hope that helps.

This video is specifically for WlToys V950/V977. Most settings here will not apply to other heli’s like Blade,TRex, etc.

Hi do you think XK transmitter can bind to the V950?
blacksukhoi I do not think it will, check out the rcgroup forum to double check. I believe wltoys uses a different protocol from xk.
@@cruzkoho ahh okay. Thanks for the input mate.
What chip (multiprotocol) are you using? And what heli are you trying to bind to?
protocol = KN
heli = v977
using the "iRangeX IRX4" with Turnigy 9XR Pro
CH1 and CH 4 should be INV ?

Did you update your TX firmware?
What do you mean by multiprotocol. Do I need to purchase additional hardware?
Planning to buy Flysky FS-isx
i can use irangex irx?
Hey mate do you have to have a separate receiver for each model you fly? Thank you for all your amazing videos 🤓

Cheers trev that helped a lot keep your videos coming they're awesome 👏🏼🤓

Hi, How did you connect that iR4X to the FS? Nice modification. I like it.

Thanks Trev. Right now I am using the smaller/cheap version, iR6X, and only a limited number of (toy) drones and helis to bind with.
thanks you so much.
i can use irangex irx6 ?
Jibbie suphitchaya If it has the protocol you need, then yes.
