So I'm mainly just proud as a fan of hip hop that these guys are finally getting the attention they deserve. Hopefully they keep the momentum going for years to come.

July third the year later, dude's playing to 10.000 at a festival just 100 miles away from there (was in fact the first unofficial RTJ show, at Roskilde Festival in Denmark). That RTJ explosion happened so fast, I can't imagine going from underground for so many years to that mainstream, that fast. Shit's insane

Personally, I believe RTJ is the best duo because they started their shit organically and independently. Bar for Bar I think that RTJ can't be touched. That's all I will say.

I rocked this album 4x times in a row, no skip. Then went back and repeated my most favorite songs at least 10x each 😅 Everybody Stay Clam is my favorite joint throughout the whole album. I love how they traded bar for bar and felt so natural. Hell, they did it better than Nas & AZ, Jadakiss & Styles P when they pass each other the Paton. I LOVE THIS ALBUM
If Killer Mike and El-P were to add a third member to Run the Jewels, Zach De La Rocha would have to be that third member. He fits right into their sound and gels so well with them
That production for Thieves was fire. So damn layered. This album was great. My favorite run in the album is from track 8 to 12. I would say that Run the Jewels 2 is my favorite out of the 3 but that takes nuthin away from this one at all. Listening to all 3 albums in one sitting is sumthin else too. Ear candy.
Admittedly I'm with Feefo on the 1st and 2nd RTJ albums Killer Mike over El-P no debate. But on this one El-P felt like he lyrically had a point to prove and he exceeded my expectations immensely. Legend Has It and Call Tickertron are my personal favorite.
they both match up on this album better than the last albums too in my opinion like the way they go off eachothers verses. The last 2 albums are dope but some of the songs sound like "disjointed" if that makes sense. On this one they've perfectly got their formula down

And I think that's dope, that possibly the best/hottest (and relevant) hiphop duo of the 2010s ACTUALLY watches, along with us. Who knows, maybe they listen to yall's critique more than you think.

I just saw RTJ live in DC last night, it was fucking incredible. The amount of energy they have is unbelievable. The show was supposed to be last Thursday but got delayed until a week later and I'm so happy for that. They got Zach de la rocha with them to do kill your masters and close your eyes for the encore then Mike did his Reagan verse 1 and ended with the crowd chanting Fuck Ronald Reagan! And mike ended with a wonderful fuck Reagan and fuck trump!
Aaaaand this is possibly the most positive I've seen these guys review an album . Especially Myke! I haven't heard any of the songs from this album except "Legend Has It" but boy I'm definitely going to check out the rest of it now that these guys have praised it to the skies ! (I'm know I'm kinda late though)
