I had trouble calibrating using those orange tabs. There was too much reflection. I found the BEST way to calibrate. Find on RUclips "white screen". There's a video with a very long video of white screen. The whole screen is white and you can see exactly where your calibration lines should go.

Great vid. Included in the new immersion I just purchased is stickie orange blocks you stick on all four corners and in between on screen to calibrate similar to what you did. Not sure if it came with older models.
Sorry I don’t know if it works with older models, but I think it works the same like the new one. The camera has 1080p the old one 720p if it is the only difference I don’t know 🤷🏻

Hi, next time I want to modified the camera for a better result with a special filter. If it work I make a new video 😉 Until you can try to low down the saturation from leds in app it helps a little 😉

Hi, the big squares on the tv are from my calibration video. 21/9 calibration. On this channel. I have attached the stickers on the side, can be removed without residue. The video is for orientation on setting the stickers😉

I hope someone can help me. Just got it. I have calibrated it like 8 times hoping for better results. It seems to be more going through a preset pattern while watching a movie than following the colors on the screen. I see a lot of red when red isn’t even present. I have my camera on bottom and lights counter clockwise and that’s options I selected. I’m thinking maybe I need the right settings. I hit video mode. It’s on movie and all yet seems to look better with “part” selected. And music, I put a music video or concert on and there’s “energetic, rhythm, spectrum, and rolling.”. I don’t like rolling but can’t tell what others are the best. Once again they don’t seem to follow colors on the screen. 2 days of fooling with this and not happy at all. If Anybody could help me out I’d really appreciate it.

So far, I have had the experience that the further away the camera is from the tv, the better it works with the colors.Of course, I also have miscolored in between, but rather rarely. Calibration is an infinite story, I calibrated several times in a row to achieve my current result. The type of panel also plays a major role. Full array local dimming and Oled seem to be the most suitable.Edge led, on the other hand, always has a residual light, which is why black is unfortunately displayed deep gray at best.Which leads to the fact that the LEDs behind the tv shine blue rather than go out in black. But I'm always looking to optimize the whole thing. If there is anything new in this regard, I will of course upload it and share it with you.
When you put the camera on the bottom, everything is backwards so it wouldn’t be counter closure. If it’s clockwise, you got a put counterclockwise and so on and then you have to move the little points when you calibrate it the opposite way.
You allright!! Light from the sides aren’t good. For best result the room have to be dark 🤷🏻 I am working on a new Govee project, with the camera 😉 I think with a little luck my video goes online at weekend. It could help you perhaps 🤔

The iso is too high on the camera. I got an ND filter for a cellphone for cheap and applied to the camera. Now the whites and skin color tones look much better!

You have to get the flow bars for smaller tvs. I tried using the immersion kit on a 42 inch and with the way it goes on you can't sync it properly. The bars do a great job for 42" and smaller tvs.

Do you recommend right in the corner or a little from the edge as you have done? I did do this but the camera still tends to favour red when there's nothing there of colour or its yellow. Hello, my Tv distance from wall is between 10-15 cm. Try out wich distance is better for your experience 😉I can’t say yes my way is the best 🤷🏻♂️

There is not enough place for the camera. That is the only place I can use for it.

I have orange bleed from the window and the lights, just can't get rid of them 😭 would try with that hope it workd

Please try to set saturation to zero in the Govee app and brightness not more then 50-60%
