Kia North America should have the same badging as the Korean version. Most Stinger owners make those modifications anyway. It's just like when Hyundai brought the 2015 Genesis out. Wings were everywhere except on the rear deck lid. Kia is oblivious to the fact that people in the US don't like the KIA badge. A symbol or even a stylized K would be better...especially on the luxury vehicles.
@Asian Petrolhead, nice vid...if you know anyone at Kia, let them know. They'd move a few more K900's, Cadenza's and Stingers if they took that basic step.

I know everyone in NA agrees with you guys, but to me, I'd swap out the "E" badge for the real Kia badge. I've lived in Korea for so long, that to me, the Kia badge means quality and style now. Kia's used to be really awful cars. Not today. They're awesome! You just get used to seeing it, and then it looks great. Nobody in the States says GMC should change their badge. Why not? It's ugly. But people are "used to it". Know what I mean? Just my opinion, of course.

Hey, check out the E instead of the KIA badge.:) That’s the Stinger badge in Korea. I put these on my GT2. The trunk is actually quite large.
I agree the screen should be larger and the screen should split three ways like the Telluride and other new KIA’s.
I just bought my 2019 Stinger and it’s a bit frustrating to see KIA releasing the 2020 models in Canada with new features and things like red stitching on the steering wheel and dash. In Korea the heads up display is much nicer. The U.S. market always lags behind Korea and Canadian markets.

    Great review ! Thanks !
This is the European version which differs a bit from the North American one. My Canadian 2018 Stinger GT Limited already has the directional headlights. And the sound system is the premium Harman Kardon in it, instead of Lexicon. The flashers at the back are not individual small LEDs like shown here, but that might be a 2020 year model change ? Otherwise, it's pretty much identical. Except that the twin turbo engine is listed at 365 hp and not 370 hp here (perhaps due to different emissions regulations in Europe ?). I love my Stinger. It surprises many unsuspecting people when they see it and see me drive away from them really quickly on the road ! ;-)

I have a model year 2018 Stinger GT2 rear wheel drive, and it has the moving headlights. It does not have the 3 extra cameras (one on the front bumper and one under each rear view mirror) to provide the 360 degree backup camera view, or to be able to cycle through the various camera views on the infotainment screen. I'd guess that if I were to install the factory pieces, they'd be detected and supported by the ECU. The wireless phone charger console that came from the start on the Korean market and for '19 in the US market detects perfectly when installed on a 2018.

I love the great looking “E” badge on the car instead of the cheap ugly looking “Kia” badge.
Kia should really think of upgrading their cars with this amazing badging to change people’s perception of the Kia brand.
Kia are making great cars now and badging is everything.
    My opinion.

Awesome! However, one of the only modifications I'd make if I was in charge of Kia Stinger's interior would be to redesign the driver's cockpit so that it would face & hug the driver a little bit more. Kinda like what Toyota did with the Supra back in the 90's. Otherwise Kia Has a tremendous hit on their hands! Great Review!!

Thank you Mr. Min for the review very informative about new 2020 Stinger GT(GT2). Ever since the launch of the car I was impressed and very surprised at KIA for making their own sporty vehicle that doesn't seem like it was made but them! Since KIA doesn't really give off sport vibes in their brand name or what they generally make this was very unexpected and took my eyes on their first ad definitely makes me want one if I had the money.

ive been waiting for a while to purchase a gt2 but i want to wait for a mid cycle refresh and hopefully they add a few things, like that huge 10 inch infotainment i know they have....at least for the gt2 models lol. i also think they should add some sort of seat release from the trunk, whether manual or automatic, something at least so u dont have to walk around to fold the seats down, i mean it IS a gt car, this should definitely be a convenience that should be there
