This video was filmed using camera sunglasses safely secured to my head with a strap. Under no circumstances do I ever take out any sort of loose articles on rides, nor do I condone such actions. Doing so can not only be very dangerous in general but it also puts everyone else's safety at risk.

@@themeparkmark1 Yeah, my favourite of 153 I've ridden, all but all 18 coasters I'd ever ridden until May 21st 2018 when I rode any other coasters at Cedar Point, (but not Steel Vengeance in May 19th through 22nd when I only got 10 rides due to one train ops.) and I'm 53 years old now. I guess I'm a late "coaster thusie" bloomer. My 2nd favourite I've ridden is Fury 325 which I rode 97 times under 4 days in April 2023. Steel Vengeance IS an amazing coaster, but I also must ride The Voyage and Velocicoaster. But I need to ride Steal Vengeance more than I have and in different rows other than the back three cars, even if the back car is the best. Thanks again for the great POV!
Love the view you provided off the right as you got lifted up. This ride is truly one of man’s greatest masterpieces of wholesome entertainment

I couldn’t agree more with some overhyped rides being overrated, but how could one say such thing about Steel Vengeance! It really has to be the worlds greatest coaster. So menacing and wild!
I can't say anything bad about it and definitely wouldn't argue with anyone who says this is their favorite coaster!
Maverick better
@@jvogesMaverick comes close. It has a better drop for sure. Unfortunately the trims directly after the launch are a buzzkill and that THING they call an S-bend that replaced the heart line roll is weak.
SteVen has nothing wrong with it in particular. Aside from the maintenance costs for the park. 😂
@@lastone032085 yeah i just like maverick for the intensity and the whip, steve is probably a better all around ride i just personally enjoy maverick
@@lastone032085 I'm just a fan of the raw intensity on maverick, got a back row ride on it a couple months ago that was insane, I've also only ridden steel vengeance once, and in the third row
Rode it tonight in the back for the 1st time. The airtime is insane in the back. I felt like I was flying out of my seat the whole time.
Back row = best row!
What a great looking ride. That sure aint no out-n-back. Once wouldn't be enough for sure.

If you want to get properly whipped around on the magnificent Steel Vengeance coaster, the back car is for you. Same goes for Twisted Colossus at SFMM.

@@themeparkmark1my #1 before going to the park being leviathan, maverick stole the #1 easily, then steel vengeance dethroned it pretty fast.
I rode this back in 2021. EVERY bit as good as the masses say!!

I need to get to Cedar Point! Years ago driving from NY to CA we stopped at Cedar Point on a whim and it was closed. Yep. Just like Wally World. Had the security guard and everything

SV runs so much track. I would consider this a triple out and back.
I left less than a month ago and I rode this at 8 times during a week vacation but I want to ride it again asap 😢

2 times I was there but I didn’t get a chance to ride this one 😢
First time was too late
Second time when I was waiting in line they shut it down because of high winds 😢
But this time it will be my first ride 🎉

It certainly does look like a great roller coaster. The only thing about it I don’t like is that there’s nothing to hang onto. There’s no bar in front to grab onto or anything like that.
Gotta put those arms in the air! Best way to ride!
@@themeparkmark1 I can’t do that when I ride roller coasters! I need to have both hands holding onto something like a bar or something like that.
Where does this rank with the other roller coasters you’ve ridden? I have this at number 3 behind Iron Gwazi and VelociCoaster.
Number 3 for me as well, but behind Fury 325 & Millennium Force (I love giga's!). If anyone has this ranked #1 (which many do!), I couldn't argue against it
@@themeparkmark1 This used to be my number 1 in fact! But after I rode IG & Veloci, they both dethroned Steve.

How did you make this video?? there were metal detectors when i rode this in june.
That's not what metal detectors are for
@@limitbassfishing2733 but there they where used to see if you have any items and they force you to put everything into a locker
Camera sunglasses with an athletic strap. All of my loose articles were placed into a locker.

Just got back. Rode it 7 times, 5 in front and 2 in back. I wonder how you got a camera on board. You walk thru metal detectors now. They will even take your gum!
