What I would love to see is how to remove a 24x24 tile like that from overtop that ditra heat cable after it has set, without damaging the cable or surrounding tiles and replacing it. Nobody has a video like that. Once again, great job and like always, it’s a pleasure to watch you work and see how nicely you finish everything. PS: My dad is 70years old from Portugal. He started doing masonry work and tile work when he was 15years old. He never ended up doing it professionally through his life, but always did work for friends and all our houses while I grew up watching and helping. Yet, when working at my house, when we were leveling off a floor, I pulled out some products he had never seen before that you had shown in a few of your videos. At first he was skeptical, as most old timers are. While we were working with the products and even after he kept bringing up: where did you find this product or that one? How did you learn about them? I just smiled and later showed him your videos at home. He was pleased with the knowledge I had added and with the great work you do.
Another great job Sal ! True Pro, I'm about to do a similar job, no heat but with 24x36 Adoquin volcanic stone, have not worked with large stone tile like that, how much more do you charge for something like that compared to standard ceramic or porcelain, 2500 sq ft flowing from room to room, house is 120 feet long and very cut up. Any advice would be appreciated. Keep up the great videos, I've been tiling since the 80's and you do better work than anyone else I've seen. Again great job !
@@grizzly8859 thanks, any thoughts on sq ft pricing for installation, never installed this size , where I am , prices for standard tile or backsplash range $3-$17 , almost nothing online about Adoquin volcanic stone tile.
simply the best. Thanks Sal! Hope your week goes perfectly and thanks for all the superb videos.
Thanks for watching my video.

Great story
Drives me nuts when I come across a weak clip breaking off like that :) Great stuff as always, sir!
Thanks again!
I've set tile for over 30 yrs part time. I have no idea how your body holds out. Looks great.
😊👍
The tile job looks pretty good, too.
You need to learn to minimize wasted movement. And not touch your wife's legs with your hands if she wearing stalkings or you'll rip them.
Mister, you fast!! 😀
Thanks Bill
Sal has an alien time dilation generator that allows him to work 8 times normal speed. That's Sal secret weapon!

@@bedoers4good330 charge as much as you think you can get out them!
If all else fails come down with the price a bit
@@grizzly8859 good advice, was my plan, but was looking for general price, so I don't over bid myself out of this job. Thanks for responding.
Can you say the name and brand of that floor tile?
Is the roller required or can you just walk around on the mat?
Roller or a flat trowel or something to smooth it in evenly, requires about 35 pounds of pressure. Walking around does not work.
Is that T Lock leveling system?
yes
Which thinset are you using here?
Whoops never mind I see the all set bag now lol
How do they get by with such a tiny bathroom? 🤣
Did you forget to tile around the shower base on the outside?
nope
