One fact that I bet you all didn't know about Phish and this song is the fact that this performance was the first time they did it in 21 yrs. Now while Bruce does this all the time when he would sit in with other bands at small clubs, for Phish, they did it in the beginning and then dropped it in 1988 for some reason. So this was a revival of sorts and then do it with the Boss, had to be extra special. Thanx for posting this.
Meh. I must be the only person in America that can't stand Bruce Springsteen... like seriously, on a visceral level, can not stand. Every time he opens his mouth to sing it sounds like he's trying really hard to keep himself from barfing. I'm not exaggerating... that's literally what it sounds like to me, and I always get nauseous when I hear his music. Simplistic bro-rock, at it's finest.
@@RraMakutsi But meanwhile you still watched the video and listened to the song. I wouldn't want to be around you when you did this. Probably have vomit all over. Gross & disgusting. Bruce is great along with Phish.
@@writer125 Nope... I just wanted to check it again out to see if my opinion had changed. I lasted about two seconds of Bruce's "singing" before I had to hit the stop button. Dude's a talented songwriter, for sure, but he belongs nowhere near a microphone. I can't say much for his guitar playing either... pretty basic and derivative, but not bad... certainly nothing that gets me excited or wanting to hear more.
Damn. I've been holding a grudge against Bruce since this show. I was in the audience and heard "that's enough mr keyboard player" but he said "go ahead mr keyboard player". Sorry Bruce.. Although he could have learned his name.

Yeah I’m sure when they were talking about what to play with him, they mentioned that they know that tune
This is the greatest thing to ever happen

@@RraMakutsi That's fine, that's your opinion. Now someone like myself and other people might think you are wrong, but that's still your opinion.
