Typical of the latest evolution of the Kadjar are the striking C-shaped daytime running lights, in which the LED indicators are integrated as a novelty. In the versions with Pure Vision full-LED headlights, the fog lights also use LED technology. Its rectangular design emphasizes the New Kadjar's robust SUV character. In the future, Renault will also use LEDs for the rear indicators, as well as for the reversing lights and the newly designed rear fog lights.
In addition, the designers revised the radiator grille as part of the facelift. This is wider than the previous Kadjar and includes new chrome trim elements. The front and rear bumpers also have a new look. Other design features include the shark antenna in the upper equipment levels, new 17 and 19-inch wheels and the three new body finishes "Ural Green", "Iron Blue" and "Highland Gray".
There is a choice of two turbo petrol and two turbo diesel engines for the new Kadjar. All engines are homologated according to the new, realistic WLTP cycle (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) and, thanks to state-of-the-art exhaust gas cleaning, meet the Euro6 German pollutant standard. Other characteristics of the downsized four-cylinder are the start-stop system and direct injection.
The new turbocharged petrol engines TCe 140 PF and TCe 160 PF with displacement of 1.3 liters offer excellent running smoothness and powerful torque. The four-cylinder engines are equipped with a soot particle filter (particulate filter = PF). This collects the fine dust particles contained in the exhaust gases in a honeycomb microporous structure and eliminates them through regular combustion.
To ensure maximum reliability, the 1.3-litre petrol engines completed 40,000 hours on the test bench during their development. This equates to eight hours of daily use over a 14-year period. Renault offers the TCe 140 PF and TCe 160 PF with a 6-speed manual transmission and the 7-speed EDC dual-clutch transmission.
The two diesel Blue dCi 115 and Blue dCi 150 have the SCR catalytic converter to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOX) emissions. In addition, the diesel engines offer more power and torque. The Blue dCi 115 mobilizes 5 hp and 10 Nm more than its predecessor. The new Blue dCi 150 provides 20 hp more than the previous top diesel in the Kadjar. Renault offers it with variable all-wheel drive.
In the interior, the 7-inch touchscreen seamlessly integrated into the surface of the center console for the Renault R-LINK 2 online infotainment system catches the eye. As a new feature, functions such as on/off, home or volume control are integrated into the user interface, which were previously operated with their own buttons next to the screen. The system also allows smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This allows users to use popular mobile apps from their device quickly and intuitively using the vehicle's controls - by voice control, on the steering wheel or via the touchscreen.
The automatic climate control controls, which have also been updated, are located directly below the R-LINK 2 monitor. Instead of two, it now has three conveniently located rotary controls for temperature and blower speed. Thanks to new air vents on the back of the center console, the rear passengers also benefit from optimized air circulation. Another increase in comfort for passengers in the back seats are two USB ports for smartphones, tablets and game consoles.

I got this Kadjar Intens in titanium grey with the diesel engine 115hp. I really appreciate the car. Its really spacious and the engine is great, especially if you are making a lot of miles like I do. The interior quality is quiet good, especially for the pricing. I think this Kadjar Facelift is a pretty good update and much better quality inside and outside in comparaison to the old one.

Fantastic review, I love how you noticed the little details that really matter and make this great looking Renault the best value proposition for midsize SUVs - it's the best all-round package even still, just before it is replaced by the new Austral. I have one of only 600 that were imported to Australia in 2020, and I'm so happy with it.
Edit: you can actually change the colours and style of the driver's display in the touchscreen settings. That expands the functionality beyond what you mentioned.

Mine R Kadjar costed me 26220€ in top-spec but without panorama roof (i dont like it), and minus 19 aloy wheels (I ve got 17s instead, because of really bad roads in my town).
Btw, the 140Hp version in Intense package cost around 24.000€ in Serbia.

I think that horse power and displacement ( cubic centimetres) should be hand by hand!! 160cv in a 1300cc petrol??? No thanks...better fuel economy?? I doubt it...since the engine needs to rev further. But to be honest,a 2000cc diesel and i buy it eyes closed!! 👏👏👏👍
