Typical of the latest evolution of the Kadjar are the striking C-shaped daytime running lights, in which the LED indicators are integrated as a novelty. In the versions with Pure Vision full-LED headlights, the fog lights also use LED technology. Its rectangular design emphasizes the New Kadjar's robust SUV character. In the future, Renault will also use LEDs for the rear indicators, as well as for the reversing lights and the newly designed rear fog lights.
In addition, the designers revised the radiator grille as part of the facelift. This is wider than the previous Kadjar and includes new chrome trim elements. The front and rear bumpers also have a new look. Other design features include the shark antenna in the upper equipment levels, new 17 and 19-inch wheels and the three new body finishes "Ural Green", "Iron Blue" and "Highland Gray".
There is a choice of two turbo petrol and two turbo diesel engines for the new Kadjar. All engines are homologated according to the new, realistic WLTP cycle (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) and, thanks to state-of-the-art exhaust gas cleaning, meet the Euro6 German pollutant standard. Other characteristics of the downsized four-cylinder are the start-stop system and direct injection.
The new turbocharged petrol engines TCe 140 PF and TCe 160 PF with displacement of 1.3 liters offer excellent running smoothness and powerful torque. The four-cylinder engines are equipped with a soot particle filter (particulate filter = PF). This collects the fine dust particles contained in the exhaust gases in a honeycomb microporous structure and eliminates them through regular combustion.
To ensure maximum reliability, the 1.3-litre petrol engines completed 40,000 hours on the test bench during their development. This equates to eight hours of daily use over a 14-year period. Renault offers the TCe 140 PF and TCe 160 PF with a 6-speed manual transmission and the 7-speed EDC dual-clutch transmission.
The two diesel Blue dCi 115 and Blue dCi 150 have the SCR catalytic converter to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOX) emissions. In addition, the diesel engines offer more power and torque. The Blue dCi 115 mobilizes 5 hp and 10 Nm more than its predecessor. The new Blue dCi 150 provides 20 hp more than the previous top diesel in the Kadjar. Renault offers it with variable all-wheel drive.
In the interior, the 7-inch touchscreen seamlessly integrated into the surface of the center console for the Renault R-LINK 2 online infotainment system catches the eye. As a new feature, functions such as on/off, home or volume control are integrated into the user interface, which were previously operated with their own buttons next to the screen. The system also allows smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This allows users to use popular mobile apps from their device quickly and intuitively using the vehicle's controls - by voice control, on the steering wheel or via the touchscreen.
The automatic climate control controls, which have also been updated, are located directly below the R-LINK 2 monitor. Instead of two, it now has three conveniently located rotary controls for temperature and blower speed. Thanks to new air vents on the back of the center console, the rear passengers also benefit from optimized air circulation. Another increase in comfort for passengers in the back seats are two USB ports for smartphones, tablets and game consoles.

I have this model (7speedEDC, 160BHP) brand new, and now after 14.000km on board I love it! Low fuel consumption, nice power and torq. On highway on 120km/h is on 2.200rmp, 130km/h around 2.8-3000rpm fuel consumption is between 6.8/7.2 liters on 100km.
Engine sound is great on sporty drive, and quiet almoust like EV on Eco mode and normal driving. ❤
But I'm angry on Renault (after 3 Renault cars in my ownership), because the next generation of this platform-car will be named Austral!!! Its so stupid! They need to keep Captur>Kadjar>Koleos names for at least 3-4 generation... like a golf!
Only bad thing is plastic-vibrating-sound on some ocasion (bumpy pavement road). Small off road advantures are ok.
Thanks Marko for feedback 👍🙏🙂
Whats the size od your rims? I ordered the 19 inch ones and now Im concerned about tyre failure because I too enjoy the ocasional off road adventure. Will the rim size and low profile tyres cause problems?
@@darkojakimovski3834 17" stock with conti ts870 winter tyres. Now I have 2nd set of Renault GTorRS rims, also 17", from Captur-Megane, with Conti summer tyres. Kadjar is capable for some off road adv. but dont get too exited.
I didnt want stock 19" when O bought the car from salon, because of holes on the roads, parking in the city etc. etc. And car was 1000e lower price. Also for the panorama roof... 1000e less, and I dont need it and I dont like it. :)
Everything else is fuul equipment.
Beautiful car.I hope you test drive next episode with this car👍
Yes will come soon 👍🙂I have it in my computer

I would avoid all compact crossovers (unless they had AWD and I’m intended to take them off roading).
🙂👍
@@andygreyriderGRN I wouldn’t own that.
Besides, that’s got a 6MT only.
Hi,
I've got one Kadjar year 2017 is very similar. I' ven't seen any changes
It is the same Antonio 👍👍
Can I fit 4 26" suitcases in the trunk of this car?
I think it should fit fine 👍

Still old multimedia and digital cocpit. Renault needs to create a new generation of Kadjar, this one is soooooo obsolete
Thanks for feedback 👍
Renault is gonna replace the Kadjar with the Austral.
However, I know it’s gonna be a Nissan Kaškaj underneath.
