Fantastic! Nice playing and great sound. Cheers!
AWESOME playing!
Great demo - thanks for this effort great sounding guitar - you make it sound a little smoother than some players - appreciate your touch.
Great guitar and great guitar player!
The pick guard looks different from the original thick spongy type that kept peeling off mine. Replaced a couple of times but they all lifted. That looks a flatter thinner one .
I am looking at trading a guitar for a 2007 model of this. My question is it has a darker head stock and the serial number on the back is only 7 digits. Possibly 8. SN 2707019 possibly a 1 before the 2 hard to tell. Is anyone familiar with this instrument enough to know if I have a legit Gibson that I am going to look at?
I just bought one today. I understand that the Gibson Songwriter has lacquer and not a polyurethane finish. I have read where people with this lacquer finish have tried to protect their Gibson guitar from scratches and dings with a peel-and-stick rubber pad, but a chemical reaction occurs and the pad ruins the guitar's lacquer finish. These pads work great, but only on polyurethane finishes leaving no damage. QUESTION: Does anyone know of a pad company that will not hurt the finish on a lacquer guitar?
try Maxi
Scratch, ding it, play it ,let it age. Beautiful instruments that only grow character the more they are played. The marks will tell story one day.
