- Not a how-to video, I'm not nearly qualified to do that.
I only used bunch of expensive tools that cost me a lot of money over a couple years to make this simple guitar stand.
You can do it, too.
(But really you can probably do it better than me with less tools, I'm still new here)
This guitar stand is made of solid walnut, finished with a hardwax oil finish.

Next big woodworking RUclipsr in the making. I loved the commentary and the build🫶🏽
Thank you!! Haha, can only hope! The goal is to make these videos, tell stories, and really get this new company going to start making custom furniture for more people (:
I really appreciated your storytelling. I think therapy is great probably an unpopular opinion on the old Internet, but Jesus has been a game changer for me in my life and I love incorporating that in my woodworking as well. Thanks for sharing. I was waiting to see your dad‘s reaction to receiving the guitar stand.😮
Thank you so much! I love telling stories and being able to share my experiences, never know what will impact someone in what way, it feels right to share just for the potential of positive impact. I'm building my mom a dining table, so I'll be sure to get her reaction for the video! My dad's response was "This is high-tech, I would've just put it together fast, but it's nice." HAHA.
Really good video. The guitar stand looks so classic. You have a great style to your wood working.
Fellow filmmaker turned woodworker here! Amazing video and I really love the design for the stand! Excited for more amazing projects from you!
One of us! One of us! Haha, so cool, didn’t know I’d really fall in love with this. Thank you, and really excited to build more too (:
@@by-aser You're inspiring me to build my own guitar stand for my guitar and bass haha, thanks!
Love the video, the project itself since I’m a guitar player, but especially love the message of family an what’s important to you. Well done, I look forward to more of your videos.
Appreciate it a lot, I love being able to make these and just... speak from my soul? Haha, very cheesy, but it really helps get some thoughts out of my head and into the world.
Nicely done. Your film background shows. Very nice flow, nice voice over, etc. Looking forward to seeing more!
I hope so! I feel like my woodworking needs to catch up to my filmmaking, so I can focus more on getting better shots and it all becomes second nature, because currently I feel like I place the camera down in a good shot and then spend a long time figuring out what I'm doing with the actual project haha.
Getting a Two Cherries Instrument vibe from you young Sir. Great looking guitar stand, and a lucky Dad. Subscribed 🙂
Just stumbled on your channel and like the style of your videos and projects. Look forward to seeing more from you. - Chris
Glad to be stumbled upon, hope I can keep making more projects and videos you enjoy!
Loved the vid and the narration. Am looking forward to great things from you.
Hope to keep putting out content you enjoy!
this is a beautiful stand and great filming/editing
Thanks 🙏🏽 love being able to mix these two crafts together
Great piece and amazing video production!
Thank you, and so fun and natural to make 🙂
Great builds. Great videos. Love the commentary, too. Really relatable and entertaining. Thanks for putting this content out. Subbed and looking forward watching the channel grow! 👍
Appreciate the kind words, I love just brain dumping and getting all my thoughts out here. I also love how its being received, so excited on this new path.
Dude - sweet build and awesome video quality. I was shocked to see such good quality from a channel under 500 subscribers - I’ll be here when you hit 100k!
Thank you so much! Bringing a little of my experience from my long-term career into this new, next chapter of my life. Hoping 100k happens, heck, I'm hoping 1k happens soon lol!
I watch guitar and woodworking content on RUclips, the algorithm hath blessed me with your video in my feed! Seriously, both the video and project are awesome! Keep it up, subbed!
Haha! Please algorithm keep working for me in your mysterious ways, hope I can keep you entertained with my content!
Great video and the guitar stand turned out amazing
Thank you so much!
Great job on the stand and the video. Keep up the great work.
Would you be willing to share the plans?
Thank you! I can share what I have, but I’m sure they’re not very traditional, haha. Send me an email and I’ll bundle it together!

Fantastic video! Thank you for sharing. Subscribed from North Idaho.
Thank you! Hope to keep providing good content for you!
I enjoy your style of video. Lovely project.
And I enjoy making them this style, thanks!
Great piece and great video. Watching this video really inspires me to color grade my own videos. The grading and the soundtrack and your VO made this video really pleasing to watch. New subscriber here! I look forward to your next video!
Thank you! Love all the little nuances in film and bringing that same energy to woodworking. On the specifics, I'm just shooting in Eterna on my Fuji X100V! Don't really do much post, just exposing correctly on camera! My favorite quote from a director I used to work with, "If it looks good, it is good."
cool vid, vry cool guitar stand, but you should remember that you should never have your hands in the path of the chisel when you are pushing it by hand
thank you! good to know & great tip, will definitely fix that moving forward! Safety is at the front of my mind when it comes to this
Nice design. Good luck with the custom furniture business...by all indications, you have the talent and skills. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, John! Ready to start on this new journey, really motivated and refreshed, and feeling very uplifted by all the positive comments here.
Nice work. Respect..!
Thank you! Cheers!
Hello kabayan. Pag patuloy mo lang yan. Supporting you from our home country.
Salamat! 🙏🏽 good to know the reach is far!!
Very nicely done! Thank you for sharing this great content. I am in the Los Angeles area as well and a hobbyist woodworker and a musician. I am going to try and make a guitar stand similar to your design. Wishing you continued success.
Thanks! And share it when you make it, love seeing builds and want to keep putting these out to hopefully give more ideas to more woodworkers and gain some knowledge from the community as well.
So nice ❤
Thank you! Excited to keep building and keep improving!
Aser, from one RUclips Woodworker to another you have accomplished a lot in your brief time on RUclips first level is woodworking, check. second level is film production double check third level is storytelling. check. much like Chris from Four Eyes Furniture . You have earned my subscription, Bodie Pyndus, “DIY Home, and Garden Projects.”
This was relaxing. You actually got me with the "sponsor" ad lol.
I try my best to make it like that, because those are the build videos I love watching. Next video I have coming up is my actual real first sponsored video, so hopefully I'm doing something right, haha!
Great video.
Thanks!
Also a new woodworker I've got a list for you!
1. Blade guard for the table saw can prevent 99% of instances of amputations (Stumpy Nubs) and it's SO EASY on that Dewalt saw
2. The M3 extract cubitron sandpaper will CHANGE YOUR LIFE, I've been able to get it on Amazon
3. If your domino has a side-to-side alignment issue, I've got a simple fix for you, just let me know.
4. if you start really getting into woodworking as your main gig, look at working part-time at a local Woodcraft, if you're lucky, it's a fantastic learning environment, they usually have a shop/classroom with very high-end tools you can use, and the employee discount is AMAZING on some items.
I wish you great success and God bless!
Love all of these, thank you for the advice! I did get some 3M Extract from Taytools the other day, excited to put that "budget" option to work haha. No Woodcrafts around me and unfortunately the Rockler's also seem to be dropping like flies... But I do love going and learning more about the community, and visiting all the local lumber yards and suppliers. Just went to Street Tree Revival in Orange County for a live edge dining table project, and John over there knows so much and his enthusiasm is contagious! This community is so warm!
Great build, I like the proportions and execution.
Any plans that we can take a pick?
Thanks! Yes, kind of haha, I have probably some very untraditional plans that I can send over! Shoot me an email: info@juniper-wood.com
@@by-aser Hi, I've sended you the email some time ago :) please check your inbox
This is a project I've had on my list for years. I have the same "shop" setup, very similar tool set. Thanks for sharing, it's given me motivation.

One of the things I enjoy (and sometimes hate) is figuring out how to make everything work with what I have, and then deciding what is next on my list based on how hard something was to do without the "right" tool. But even more so enjoy that things can be done without the "right" tool and just a little bit of extra creativity.
Are you familiar with Sam Maloof? His woodworking inspired me, he used a lot of walnut
I've watched a few of their videos! I watch maybe too many woodworking videos, lol.
Wow, what a great video. You have talent as a furniture maker and a filmmaker love to see plans. I’m going to email you if you don’t mind.
Thank you so much! This is a really fun journey I'm excited to be starting and really motivated to see where it goes. I'm a little backed up on emails, I need to send a bunch of people my "plans" for this, haha. Sorry!
Fantastic stand! As a bassist just now getting into woodworking, I’m 100% gonna rip this off and build it exactly like you did… but extremely poorly! 😂
Appreciate it! And PLEASE rip it, haha. I love being able to see what comes out of what I build, definitely want to see it! I'm sure it'll turn out great, haha.
