    Hey, I have been watching stair refinishing videos for a week, and you are the first to recommend doing every other step! THANK YOU for sharing that tip. 👍

    Good morning just found your channel my husband and I are doing our stairs..I just saw you apply the stain with a brush when the color comes in you wipe it using a tack cloth? My husband saw you apply the stain with a brush and then apply apply more stain using a cloth to rub the stain in..please which is what is the purpose of the cloth to dry or add more stain rubbing it in ?

    Very good job young lady. What stain would you recommend on my basement stairs, oil or paint water based (light traffic).

    Hi are there any tips or tricks to staining the underside of the stairs? It looks like you did the tops first to allow for excess product but I’m concerned about getting the colour to match on all sides.

    hi what color did you stain them?

    We don't need to use the stairs while we're staining them; do you still recommend doing every other step? Doesn't that make the project take twice as long?

    • @danidiydit1
      @danidiydit1  2 года назад +2

      Well yes it would take double time. So if you’re absolutely sure you dont need to access the stairs i would do allll the prep work first make sure all the stairs free of any debris and start at the top and work to the bottom . Since you are not alternating stairs be sure they are absolutely dry before stepping on them to do the next coat

    All the matters is that you like how it looks... I do not. On the bright side going that heavy helps cover up any lack of prep.
