  • Wiawis, a BMX brand that find ourselves mispronouncing daily, but there'll be no mistaking this carbon frame and fork combo at the 2021 Olympics when you check the racing out. BMX athletes like Frenchman Sylvain Andre, and riders out of the World Cycling Centre like Swiss riders Zoe Claessenss and Simon Marquart will all be riding a Wiawis and hoping for Olympic glory.
    LUXBMX is stoked to bring you this build collaboration with the Australian supply of the Wiawis brand, and will soon be offering the frame and fork sets to LUX race customers, but for those who don't like to wait, this Wiawis Rokon Pro XXXL is available right now.
    The Rokon frame and fork is constructed from Graphene Nano Technology, which has approximately 200x the tensile strength of steel at 1020 Gpa, and is around 10 times harder than diamond. Perfected by Wiawis in the manufacture of high performance bows, they brought this construction technology to bicycle frames, specifically with the view to produce frames that are stiff in exactly the right places. Resulting in a frame that is rock solid stable out of the gate.
    We were also sent a Pride stem and bars from the Australian distributor to throw on this build, and we added a bunch of our favourite go-fast parts to build a deadset missile of Pro XXXL. With a 22 inch top tube, this will suit the 6 foot and up rider who's looking to go from the gate to the podium. With a bulletproof wheel set up (Onyx Ultra SS hub, Spectre Brand Ti spokes and carbon rims), this race rig will turn heads and shred corners. Scope the part's list, and place your order. This is ready to ship anywhere in OZ

    I used to live pretty near one of the main Wiawis stores in Giheung, South Korea where they had a small dirt track for you to try out their bmx bikes. They're mostly known as a brand that makes top end recurve bows. Koreans take gold for archery a lot and they are one of the tippity top brands. They make crazy expensive road bikes as well. Their bmx bikes look awesome.
    Closest way to type their name 위아위스 in English would be something like "wee-ah-weesuh" with that last "uh" being very subtle (you can't end syllables with an S sound in Korean so the sublte little "uh" is tacked on there... that's waht the ㅡ letter is)

      That is awesome. And you’re right about Koreans and archery. We see them visit our traditional archery rendezvous from time-to-time.

In 2002, Yamaha archery technology and equipment were introduced to further enhance its technology and know-how. At the Rio Olympic Games in 2016, WIAWIS Bow has achieved a gold medal in all categories.
    With its proven advanced technology and know-how, we successfully developed a sports bike in 2014, and it has been recognized for its remarkable performance in international competitions such as MTB, BMX and track race in spite of the relatively short period of time in the marke

    Hi there. This is a Rokon. Wiawis also has a Atom X. Wouldn't Atom X be the one that those big pros would be riding at the olympics?

    • @lloydusdavies
      @lloydusdavies 2 года назад +1

      Rokon looks like old carbon frame build technology (glue pieces together) as opposed to newer AtomX where you make the whole frame in a mould. Or am I getting it all wrong.
