- The Year-By-Year Review videos are resuming, kicking off this series with nearly every awesome Hot Wheels car and truck sold in 1995! If you enjoy looking through your old toys and wonder which ones are rare, and what they are worth, you will most certainly like this video tour of my very complete collection. Topics covered in this video series include historical information the castings, all known variations, and of course pricing. 1995 was a very big year for Hot Wheels as Mattel released many new castings along with a large selection of classic castings in bright decorations and eye-catching paint jobs.
This video series will be spread over several videos so that we can look at all the awesome vehicles and truly savor in the Retro-Blasting experience! Enyoy! - Авто/Мото
I had mentioned this before, but 1995 was a dramatic year to be collecting. It was the first year of this new format with series cars. Most retailers received a shelf clipped chart showing all the upcoming 1995 series cars. They also released non-series cars and 5 pack cars not shown in this video. Many older releases continued to be released with the new wheels. This was also the year they phased out the black walls and ultra hots (Hot Ones were phased out a couple years before). The new 5 spoke and 7 spoke were first appearing this year. Soon to follow were 3 spoke, sawblade and all the others. Early in the year, the BW or UH wheels could be found, but later deliveries had only the new wheels. This really caused collectors to pay attention and I noticed a new surge in HW collecting. By the way, these series cars only appeared as singles or 2-packs, never in 5-packs.
Your videos are a great tool I use to collect. It serves as a checklist to see what I have and what I am missing. I rewatch your videos often for reference. Thanks again for sharing!
Very grateful you have resurfaced this series of videos. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing. This is an era of Hot Wheels I know next to nothing about.
Honestly I every time I watch a video of the year by year video. I go out and start looking for some cars like this.
Great video again 👍
I don't collect fantasy cars, but really like the look of some of those ones too, and 90's sure was a time for crazy paintjobs on HW cars 😎
And love the feel of those metal on metal basic HW cars, they just feel quality cars due that weight.
I love the 90's car's and you do an awesome review of them. Thanks for sharing 🏁 👍. U are #1
yeeeeesssss! one of the best birthday gift I´ve got this year. Thanks my friend!!
I love these year by year videos
Whitewalls are such good looking wheels on classic cars, hope HW will do a re-run of these like they did for the UH series... Awesome episode, looking forward to all the others 👍
I love the 90s collector numbers series so many castings and variations but also so many skipped numbers which is so weird and there are cars with lower numbers that came out after cars with higher numbers

Got my old hand notes out for this, have a lot from 275 to 321 (missing a lot also). I never wrote much on description unless owning variants, however on some you showed here my records list a few other on-card variations in my collection. They're in storage and not easily accessible as I no longer collect or hunt for cars.
300. Rigor Motor. I have 5 variants. The extra 2 being one with a red motor, and one with a different copyright year possibly with LW (basket wheels)
303. Street Roader. Orange with Blue Stripes. ---- Sorry my descriptions are so lacking in details.

😃✌👍
I think I have one of the missing ones maybe two they're not in anywhere near collector condition and I got them back when I was like 8 years old and they're not too good looking now but I have them I have one of the Chevrolet stepside pickups a blue one and whatever that weird speaker truck thing is that's zebra printed or whatever it looks a bit like a Ford ranger but as a convertible with speakers in the bed I have one of those but Orange and blue
It's called mini-truck. Based on a Datsun or Nissan I think.
