  • Weekly Weekend Vintage Car Show - 1/64 scale! THIS VIDEO comes two days later than expected due to unforeseen circumstances.
Please note that there is no review of Hot Wheels cars numbered #354 through #366, as those were all Treasure Hunt vehicles which I don't have in my collection and cost hundreds of dollars these days, so I'm not anticipating on buying them any time soon and generally will only buy TH cars if I find them in the "wild"!
Join me for a retro-blast to the past, opening up and looking at the many details of a very complete collection of 1996 Hot Wheels mainline cars. This video is part of my ongoing series of Hot Wheels Year-By-Year videos where we dive deep into every single car and truck released by Mattel each year, starting with my first video of the 1974 Mainline release of toy vehicles. If you are interested in pricing, rarity, variations and more, check out each video in the series already on my channel. Thanks for watching and enjoy the hobby!

Excellent series - I watch these as a Matchbox collector as I don't know much about HW. If you get time I'd be interested in videos on long running castings with all the variations you have on a single model

For some reason, I absolutely LOVE 1990s Hot Wheels (the ones with the dark blue card). I went to an antique mall yesterday, which had a lot of Hot Wheels from the 1990s-early 2000s, and it seems like the Hot Wheels from the 1990s had much cooler paint jobs. For example, the metalflakes and cool tampos, even licensed company tampos like Butterfinger/Reese's on mainline cars. It just seems like there was more variety in the 1990s-early 2000s "dark blue card" era, or maybe it's just me because I was born in 2005 so I didn't really get to experience that era. Or maybe it's because they simply remind me of my childhood and make me feel nostalgic lol.

I love this type of diecast videos. better you open your carded cars than me. 😄These years were so cool. A lot of them are First editions which I also have in my collection. I have that same Sizzlers ,but renamed Turbo Flame on the base, and it should have an orange canopy in the front. Rail Rodder is so cool. HW won't make castings with more than 4 axels anymore. I have some Drag Bus castings, but not first editions in blister. That's a keeper. Street Cleever came back this year in neon green and red with less wheels and fixed spoile. That's a nice looking fleet of Street Cleavers. Open your cars dude. That what they for. I buy two. One to card and one to open. Got the final run GM Lean Machine on my wall. Love the Radar Ranger. Still looking for Thredator. The series is actually Mod Bod, beacuse there is nothing Mod Rod about those tampos. I passed on that one, but did go for the Tattoos series. Forget the name. On the other hand I also hated the sports series. Ironically it looks like the ballas are damaging the cars.

Awsome to have a day off an see a new vid ive dated so many cars thanks to just these new vids .....found that F50 2 weeks ago an man its the sweetest ferrari ive found yet ...dident know it was 96 thought later .
