  • I stumbled upon this recently rediscovered Soviet era Lord of the Rings film that was made for tv last night and I couldn't believe it lol. It has some of the most surreal shit I've ever seen in it so I decided to make a super cut of my favorite scenes. It's so creative, horrifying, and marvelously weird lol. I would totally buy a Blu-Ray of this with proper subtitles and a doc on the making of it if it ever comes out.
Here are links to watch the whole thing if ya like:

    • @MrZinadin

I have a good news for you sir. The OST is exists indeed. The narrator who periodically interrupts film events is one of first Soviet rock musicians Andrey Romanov. He is the composer and song writer of all prog-rock songs that you have noticed in this film. He also was a leader of Russian folk-rock "Trilistnik" (Shamrock in eng) band. And all of these songs and even more were realised as ordinary LP under the name "Music of Middle-earth" in 1991. Here is the link to this album on youtube.
