The Mars Volta: Abrasions Mount the Skin Graft
This is a musical poem & an abomination composed of every instance in which Cedric of The Mars Volta refers to some kind of skin injury. It samples 139 clips from 65 songs & for all intents & purposes should not exist. No two vocal samples are identical.
For the sake of humanity I hope a more exhausting TMV meme will never be constructed. For my fellow insufferable nerds, I've left you Many visual and auditory presents. I love you & I am very sorry.
Lyrics:
I’ve only but a million blemishes to tell you all about.
Through the blisters of confinement
When the pigment leaves the body
From an isle of open sores
We counterfeit the vessels through flesh and time.
Shanks round the bend, when you’re...

Highlights from the Soviet Lord of the Rings
Просмотров 202 тыс.3 года назад
I stumbled upon this recently rediscovered Soviet era Lord of the Rings film that was made for tv last night and I couldn't believe it lol. It has some of the most surreal shit I've ever seen in it so I decided to make a super cut of my favorite scenes. It's so creative, horrifying, and marvelously weird lol. I would totally buy a Blu-Ray of this with proper subtitles and a doc on the making of...
Legendary Jake E. Lee Solos
Просмотров 159 тыс.3 года назад
I made this compilation months ago but copy claims completely butchered and destroyed half the video so... here's what's left I guess. I think the Lightning Strikes, Secret Loser, Never Know Why, and the Killer of Giant's solos definitely got cut as well as some others. Sorry y'all. There aren't enough die-hard Jake E. Lee fans and I'm sick of it. Y'all need to listen to these solos, listen to ...
Dissident Aggressor Full Vocal/Guitar Cover
Просмотров 3933 года назад
My friend was a metalhead snob and we used to talk about Priest, Sabbath, Dio and all sorts of other random bullshit at 3am for over a decade. This is cover is for him. I did all the vocals/guitar playing myself and I wrote my own guitar solo. I wish he were still with us to hear it. I'm no Halford, but I definitely tried hah. Almost exactly a year before he passed he requested I cover this. As...

I was looking through some of my old cd collection and saw the dvd for this. I went on RUclips and discovered it had been uploaded before but in very poor quality and with Spanish subtitles like forever ago. So... thought I'd try to upload a better version. Hopefully it turns out alright. But more importantly. I'm so fucking stoked that Frusciante is back! Also please subscribe, hit the like bu...
The Mars Volta - Cygnus...Vismund...Cygnus (Live) Bedlam Edition. Original Aspect Ratio/Quality

From the deluxe edition of The Bedlam in Goliath I do miss this line up of TMV quite a bit. Though I gotta say, sometimes Thomas Pridgen is going Entirely too ham on rye without holding the mayo. It's kinda dope but also kind of not so necessary. I guess they don't call him "Perpetual Solo" for nothing tho. Also please subscribe, hit the like button, and whatnot. I make a lot of music inspired ...

Frances the Mute

An excerpt from Frances the Mute - the single- Not- included on the album Frances the Mute by The Mars Volta. I told myself I would learn this by ear in 2005. I did it Finally 😂 I screw up in the second take but I almost like that one better. I used to own this song on vinyl until I sold it for guitar parts like a fucking idiot. Oh well. I've no clue how or why Omar wrote this shit, but I love it.

Ah yes one of the most underrated guitar legends! Jake is a super aggressive player and what's really cool is he is one of the very few that never uses a whammy bar. He gets some of the sickest sounds and has one of the better guitar tones around. Bark at the Moon took me some time to get used to when it was originally released mainly because as a youngster I compared it to Diary but I personally really like his work on Ultimate Sin just as much as Moon. Too bad they fucked him over and Ozzy was hard to work for I would imagine back then but what could have been.

Thank-you very much dears in Japon!!! For dear world -unical-virtuozen-legends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I`love you!!!! ROCk N Roll!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very very nice see and hear real super guitar legendary solos!!!!! Fantastish sincere play!!!
better than the amazon rings of power shit
👍👍
I love they all have the Silverburst finish going on.
I would advise you to look at this not from the point of view of a modern, spoiled viewer, but from the point of view of historical reality. To do this, it is enough to look at what and how was shot by American, or, say, Western European film studios in the 80s of the 20th century. Plus, to realize that this is not just a movie, but a performance film, a theater film, with a much smaller budget and the use of cinematic techniques.
Didn’t like ozzy after he fired Jake. Music was second and third rate.
The music is the best. Truly H.Shore 2.0
8:55 ringwraiths riding out with a synthwave from 80s is my favourite part. This 13 minute 22 second long film made by the Soviet State budget is much better than both seasons of the Rings of Power with a combined cost of 2 billion $
Definitely my favourite of Ozzy's many guitar players. The Bark at the Moon solo is such a well crafted composition. A proper rock guitarist!
Do you really think the Soviets were able to fly into space back then? They couldn't get a sword other than a sword made of tinfoil for this movie! 😅
Seeing this in 2024 and realising how this band has aged like the finest wine in the world.
Unbelievable. A few weeks ago, this song randomly popped up in my head again, but I forgot both the title and the name of the band. All I could remember was how I discovered it, which was through this video posted on Reddit. I tried searching for this video without success. Now it randomly appears is my feed. What the algorithm?
A Balrog of Muskov!
One of the most underrated guitarist ever. What a Fn beast
Jake is the #2 Ozzy guitarist. Randy of course is #1, but Jake is only a little behind Randy. The man is a world class player and song writer.
one of my all time favourites, something about it you know
Whoever put this video together is a Legend too. Jake was the most awesomest guitarist ever - he's in my top 5 favorites of all time for sure. Dont get why this vid has so few views .. why people forgotten Jake? - Never a boring note with Jake ... like never ... #creative genius
He's bad ass.
Ok … my vote personally after 38 years of Ozzy’s music … 1. Randy .. who knows what he would’ve ended up doing if he didn’t pass 💯🙏💫❤️ RIP 2. Jake … just unreal … watch the stretch on his finger frets when he brings up a solo from out of nowhere 3. Zak … played all the guys music before him well and made Incredible solos and put in a lot of time with Ozzy and still does
Перестроечный детский контент или как я научился не волноваться и полюбил психодел
It's so cool to see Frank Zappa playing the drums
Still better then netflix.
He's just faster I'm jake lee Jr
Damn Gandalf's disco magic hits different
He showed all 80's electric guitar tech and tricks in a one video he is definetely Godzilla guitar guy from japan
Why is it I keep hearing someone getting off in the soundtrack???
He was one of my favourites from day 1. I watched that Bark at the Moon concert so many times \m/
his vibrato is awesome.
I seriously think that the Bark at the moon solo and outro is the best thing I ever heard
It just demonstrates how much of a moron Ozzy and his side show parasite were in losing this utterly brilliant player. My favorite OO guitarist by a mile.
8:48 Fuck Ozzy i really hate this part, really pissed me off! while Jake E.Lee no doubt are amongst 80's Wild & Truly Master Shredder Axeman ever lived!!! HaiL Jake E.Lee!💫💥
I like Zakk and I love Randy, but in all fairness, Jake is my favo Ozzy gunslinger for days!
What a drumming piece!
GUITAR,,,,21F!?
Nuno sounds a lot like him. Just sayin’
Bark at the moon Jakes solo is beyond amazing. A true guitar wizard !
Another gift for the mocking Western bourgeoisie, who will equate this film with the entire Soviet filmography. Sad :(
Great 👍🏻 nice commentary LOL
All opeth albums are there own style and should rated on there own and not against the rest if you had privilege of hearing them live it makes everyone else live playing seem second rate no one is as clear sounding and no ear plugs needed please come back to Sydney Australia we love you guys
"Aaah aah aah aah aaah" Best soundtrack ever!
Jake it is will be my favorite and then Joe holmes and Gus G
So Amazon version is not so bad ?❤
I'm Jake Lee Jr. Crazy dude I never knew I've been playing guitar my whole life since I was a kid fuckin wild!!!!
Is the greatest of all time......whith all the others brother God speed....ohhhhhhhhhhhhh yaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!@#$%##$$??""
This documentary is pure evidence that Axenrot was the best opeth drummer. Sure, Lopez was a fantastic drummer as well, but very sloppy live. Axenrot is even better at creativity and that's pretty impressive.
Dude I think he’s actually the same level as Eddie Van Halen , HE DOESNT EVEN HAVE A FUCKING WHAMMY BAR
Jake e Lee is so underrated 🤘🏻
