The GREATEST traditional Bluegrass Band of their generation. How could anyone have done more to keep this precious tradition alive. They even visited the UK to perform for us at our notorious Edale Bluegrass Festival. The only USA band to be booked there twice by popular demand! I wonder what they're all doing now.. Thank you so much lads!
GREAT LEAD SINGING AND AS GOOD A VOCAL DUO AND TRIO AS ANY BAND EVER. A REALLY GREAT ALLAROUND BLUEGRASS BAND
I'm glad I listened! Best in Bluegrass whenever wherever!!
Such great harmonies.
Very good group of musicians. This traveling life style not easy. Thank you for posting this.
🤠 Hat's off to you guy's, that is truly impressive , thank you 😁🌈😳
Killer banjo picking
Wow, got meet these guys around 1989 or 1990 They signed a hat for me. Awesome band. Yes still got that hat.
These guys were so good.
Outstanding, Allen
Dudley Connell can sing up a storm. He climbs the ladder to hit the high notes so seamlessly.
I thought that was Stubbs on the fiddle yep its Eddie.
So what guys? Its just great true Bluegrass wherever and when ever
Guys you’re watching the greatest band ever since Flatt and Scruggs
Del McCoury and the boys carried this tradition onward.
@@normhardy definitely. Hard driving and high tenor singing.
🤣🤣🤣“How ya doin’ there Bob…ok, mighty fine, he’s fell asleep”
@@TN-D18 😂😂😂
This band was the ultimate in their element which was some of the 70sand ruled the 80s when they came out on stage you knew you were in for a show and a half at least every set they did was top notch bluegrass in your face.Dudley is with the Scene now but he belongs back in this band show all this new crowd how bluegrass is done! Just sayin.only kind of music i miss from 80s is bluegrass
Eddie Stubbs said they were in "The Great State of Michigan"... Doesn't look like Bean Blossom's stage.
Bean Blossom is in Indiana, This is Monroe County Michigan
Thanks so much for posting this! I don't think your year is correct though. Tom Adams didn't join and till 1987.
dont their year say 1987 .....they introduced Tom Adams on banjo looks like your incorrect about the year or your comment ? Guess that happens when someone feels the need to try and correct someone for no good reason
Tom joined in October 1986. This was probably recorded on 8/21/87. (I've been doing research on the band; I have tons of info in a spreadsheet.)
Nikki joy😅😅
