I have had mine 3 years now,,, no issues with it,,, anyone that says it loses its tone is crazy.. an Audience Cant tell so if you are that retentive ,,go straight wife and leave this in the box and Craigslist it
I don't give a fuck if it takes away a bit of warmth. I'd rather be able to move around freely without tripping over cables all the time. Freedom of movement is key.
the build quality on the shure feels much more sturdy, but can't really speak to which does wireless better. I do love the a/b features of the AT. the tuner feature is worthless to me because i prefer to use a petersen Stomp, so i like the overall features of the AT better, but the transmitter is plastic and the shure is a solid metal
Just got mine yesterday and I compared the sound to being wired. You lose quite a bit of clarity, warmth, almost sounds like a small blanket covering your sound. Im probably going to return it for something with better quality sound, if it exists. Nice video, The wired sound on this video sound much better as well.
Anyone on here own this? wondering if the antenna is supposed to be a little wiggly? out of the box, my antenna wiggles a bit. wasn't sure if that is how its supposed to be??
@@sillennium no it doesn’t screw in . Just kinda wiggly …I talked to a few people they said theirs was the same but I’m just not so sure about that …hmmmmm?
Dude i really appreciate if you make a demo of this wireless using bass guitar,. i really wanna know how it sounds like on bass guitar so i can decide to buy one,. Tnx,.
I think it's because the cable you were using previously was adding capacitance. It's funny, because although capacitance is a "degradation" of our tone, our ears have gotten used to it thanks to our years of playing; now, anytime we play a low-impedance signal, it automatically sounds weird. Line 6 wireless units have a "cable emulator" function - shame this doesn't have one. :-/
Thnx Scott. Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect presentation. Huge thnx
Awesome glad it helped

hallo.. this one is good for big stage festival? sounds good? how tall the signal frequency?
It works well in all kinds of environments
Do you like this Shure better than the ATW 1501? Trying decide between the two. My sales guy feels the Shure is superior.

Great job.. Can I use my Cioks power supply to power up my shure unit?
If it provides the 9 volt etc
For some reason my Strymon Ojai won’t power it. Strymon 9V single plug works just fine.
Hmmm, probably Miliamp issue

Nice video, The wired sound on this video sound much better as well.
I have a glxd 14 version. I compared it with the cable and couldn't tell the difference.
Cool
Definitely a difference. It can be heard in the video.
Nice
How much was it when you bought it?
I didn't purchase it, I borrowed it. Ib want to say it was around 400 to 450 at the time if you purchased it.
@@sillennium what do you think it would be worth now?
@@edwardhamaty6824 not sure check what they are selling for on reverb
very good demo..... how much the price of this.....
Wanna say it was 450
Can the Shure GLX-D System be plugged into the guitar jack socket on the back of the Boss ES8?
Yes that's the point. Just put it just before the es8
@@sillennium Yup n it's a great unit too...no more acrobatics in my house now I have it . ; )
its been 5 years already, is it still good to buy? thanks..
I think so, it's very solid.
@@sillennium thanks..gonna buy later or tomorrow.. :)

Ok will keep that in mind
I just got one today and i noticed one thing i don't like about it, and i noticed it in the video too. It takes away warmth from your tone.
