Nailed the November rain solo, that's one of my favorite GNR songs
+Joshua Locklear Thank you Joshua! :D I had to decide between Sweet Child O'mine and November Rain...but at least, I've choosen NR :)
Cheers!
The November Rain solo is definitely the best of both. GJ btw :)
Thank you pal! :)
that was neat. awesome. But for me Double talkin jive is the best
November Rain is great solo But For me Nightrain and rocket queen
love the buttery sound of a Les Paul.
+Nicolò Arcuti Me too! It has a special and unique sound! :)
Nicolò Arcuti neck pickup with overdrive sounds really epic. Roll down the tone knob and it's like God singing
it's creamy
I think that Jimmy Page deserves one list just for him
+Ze Negueba Hahahh he wrote a lot of great solos. He's a fantastic musician
Ze Negueba I agree
there's a led zeppelin there
I agree too :D
most of Led Zeppelin songs were actually recorded with a Tele. I mean... from Stairway to Heaven to Achilles last stand
Les pauls have a nice killer tone. My favorite model of all time...
I have to be honest and say Hotel California sounds 'ok' but when you see it played, as a guitarist, its truly a work of genius. That guy, whoever it was, was very very much in the zone on that one.
It was either Don Felder or Joe Walsh. Felder starts the solo, Walsh joins in. They finish together.
Felder wrote the music for it.
Maybe he needed to warm up or something, but this performance lacks soul and flow of the original. I hear the notes, but not the emotion in it. He also needs to work on his hammer on and pull of runs which are sometimes not 'rolling' like they should. It's most noticeable on Hotel California and November Rain.
Gibson, Jackson and Fender are the kind of guitars that always blow my mind up.
+Arthur Martins Amazing guitars! I'd like own a Jackson...we'll see! ;)
Damn that November rain solo was spot on
Killer sounds man! Very cool! I enjoyed watching this. Subscribed!
+maestrodrst Thank you so much maestro! I'm glad you enjoyed :D
See you soon!
killer tone at still got the blues!!!!
+Ricardo Fraga Thank you so much Ricardo! :D
It was out of tune... Not spot on. The rest was great!!!
I was expecting all 5 to be slash
Wagner Music lol i was too
Same
hahaha That's because you don't know enough music yet :p
Why?
Super solo for November Rain. You got the right tone, overdrive level and you nailed it. Great job!!
+Ken Mitchell Wow, thank you so much! I'm flattered for all this compliments :D
Cheers pal, and thanks again!
3- Gta San Andreas

Awesome work my bro, nice tone
Oh, here you are Alex! :D Thank you so much
Waiting for your next vid!
Good Stuff, but, Since I've Been Love'n You! off Zep3. Iconic Page & Les Paul..
GDawg2K2 I think the studio version is recorded on a telecaster :((
Epicusername0412 I believe JP used a tele on all LZ1 except for one of the covered blues tracks, (maybe YOU SHOOK ME), which he used a borrowed Flying V.
From LZII on out, it was all LP. Execpt for the solo in Stairway, for which he broke out the old Tele.
I saw them in early 69 at a packed BostonTea Party (500) & a few month later at the Bos Garden (18,000) just as the ZepII was being released. Both times he was already playing an LP.
I also just read this on one of the forum's:
"JP has mentioned a few times in interviews that SIBLY was played on his no. 1 LP... And he was using the Peter Green setting for the out of phase tone...
I've read that in Guitar World back in the late 90's if my memory is right...".
I'm not sure if the phase wiring was in place in 69/70. But none the less. Apart from that, if you listen to the intro, it's neck pup until the V cord, at which point you can hear him sw to the bridge pup.. I've got a Tele & LP Stnd. Playing that track on the LP just sounds right. But? Who Knows.. )
Yes, definitely in my top 5 favourite solos, and my favourite blues-rock solo
GDawg2K2 no it wasn't a flying V, you can actually hear the attack of the telecaster, a flying sounds much more bassy, midrang'y
GDawg2K2 the tele was used on the full first album and the solo on stairway.
Just wanted to say loved it. Awesome job
And I was pleased receiving your comment :)
Thank you so much!
AMAZING man! You played them great!
Good job!
Thank you dude! :D
great video, perfect playing also, congrats! but could you please tell me a little bit more about the gear within the tone att all? which pedals and amplifier? thanks in advance
Hi dude! Thank you so much! :D
I've used a virtual amps! I used Peavey Revalver with several amps like Fender twin and Marshall BluesBraker. An Hall Reverb and a Ts9 Screamer. I've recorded with a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6
Awesome video dude🤘🏼1+ sub
Thank you so much Carlos! :D
So glad I stumbled across this video. Tone is killer!
+Gordon Dévai Thanks dude! :)
Impressed by your solo videos, both on LP and Strat! How do you create the backing tracks for these video recordings?
dude - u own a Dean Deceiver - i thought i was the only one who owned one! sweet! i love that guitar!
+SuperDimeslime333 Yeah, I ownED :( Unfortunately I traded it with a friend because I didn't play it very much. So I decided to give it to a friend, and being sure she (the guitar) would have been played properly! It was an AMAZING guitar. Keep it! :)

Fredão Alemão Oh, thank you so much! That's make me happy!

My favorite one was Toto love isn't always on time very nice.
Hold the line
I love it! Telecaster next maybe? ;)
If I'd own a Telecaster.... :D
I would like having one! We'll see what I get
Air Dealer - Lorenzo the Hotel California solo in the 70s was played on a Tele. And an SG double neck.
Joe Walsh ' s part was a fender I believe . Don Felder used the Gibson double neck razor
rolando e. limon so was whole lot of love
This is an incredible video! Fantastic playing as well!
+Keith Chamblin Thank you so much Keith :D
I'm happy you like it
awesome vid great tone!! du you have major tips for learning guitar lead?
What are your amp settings for November rain? Nice vid especially hold the line
+EdMcmuffin Thank you Ed! I've used a simulation of JMC800 with max gain and presence, 5 bass, 3 middle, 10 high with the neck pickups (tone rolled down to 2), and a shure sm57 :)
Cheers!
guy,u r genius)))
Thank you so much pal! :D
Nice les paul
Thanks! :)
James Ng gig /b
Man, I really enjoyed the way how you played these solos, especially "November rain", but I think that the main riff to "whole lotta love" sounded little bit faintly, try to add more attack to your right hand.
Like your videos, peace✌️
+Amir Kumar Oh man! Thanks so much for the opinion :) I really like other people' advices because is one of the best way to improve! Thanks again, I'll try to work on it :D
Cheers
Amir Kumar Jimmy Page has a heavy right hand 😂
Definitely more right hand attack.
gotta say - amongst players I've seen or heard - you're excelling over all of em pal! Really - u play all things perfectly and 100% professionally. very impressive.
Whoa! Such a nice comment :D
Thank you very much dude! I'm super-happy for that, and your compliments...I'm honored you think all this about me. This kind of comment push me to work and make better videos!

Lorenzo
Air Dealer yeah well it's all true pal - I swear you play each note perfectly.
Fantastic playing mate. Keep ‘em coming 🎸👍
+Lefty Gambino Thanks mate!
For sure!
yo agregaría while my guitar gently weeps
Pero Clapton no estaba en su etapa Stratocaster cuando lo escribio?
Sin dudas, esa Les Paul sonó cómo nunca.
Lo tocó en una LP qué luego regaló a Harrison y es la qué usa en el video de "Revolution".
Where's Mr. Crowley by Rhandy Roads? That was the best ever EVER guitar solo played on a Gibson guitar.
Gibson les Paul not just Gibson
Played on the Sandoval V not a les paul
He used to play both, the Sandoval and the LP. Maybe you're right
Dat tone man, nice!!!
Love it😍
Awesome tone and video man! Hit subscribe
+Gabriel Andrade Thank you so much Gabriel. Welcome here ;)
Toma cuidado com os pequenos detalhes de músicas famosas.

Air Dealer о,Ты русский язык знаешь или сам просто с России?потому что,как мне показалось,присутствует русский акцент) )
Artur Linker Man hahah wait :') . I know few words in Russian but I'm not able to read it completely. :D I can use a translator if you want
Air Dealer Oh,I got you, sorry)my English by the way is also very awful, because just like you hang out through translator
Artur Linker Don't worry pal :) Thank you so much for compliments!
No Randy Rhoads?
I LOVE Rhandy Rhoads! He was my first shred inspiration :) Anyway, I wanted to put Crazy Train here (or other songs from the Album) but unfortunately he recorded them with his Jackson RR and with the Polka Dot.
His Custom LP is awesome!
Cheers
Air Dealer hi, what about the Fade to Black solo?
hi Lorenzo, first : are you italian?
I watched your last video with your fender stratocaster (about 7 months ago) and now you are a so better guitar player ! Subscribed !
Ciao Alessandro!
Grazie ancora :)

Zachary Thomson Thank you Zachary. I really love playing her! :)
Ciao Lorenzo, ti faccio i miei complimenti per come ha creato il tuo “studio” in camera dimostrando che non é necessario avere una sala di registrazione per produrre video da pro...e poi suoni da paura!!! Grande!

i checked it out it is very nice lesson.
thank you.
this video is so fucking amazing! congrats man, keep rocking it
You're amazing!
Think Sweet Child O Mine would have been better GNR solo to do never the less November rain is still amazing!
Thanks! :)
Sweet child O' Mine is a Great solo anyway! :D
slash as guitarist is amazing but gnr as a band arent that good
Antek Pastuszka yeah i prefer his solo work too!
Antek Pastuszka no gunsi nie byli najlepsi, ale jestem wielkim fanem gdyż urzekli mnie wczuciem w każdy utwór, feeling i ciepłe rockowe solówki to jest to :), a zabrzmieć jak shlash jest mega ciężko, pomijam efekty i takie tam, specyficzne bendy i styl grania czyni go ciężkim do idealnego odzworowania
Antek Pastuszka What? Axl is one of the best singers ever, slash is a great guitarist, Izzy is a great sonngeriter and rythm guitarist, Duff is awesome and he looks sick, and steven adler is a great drummer that puts a lot of feel in his playing. And that is just scratching the surface
ARE YOU ITALIAN?
Yes dude! ;)
Air Dealer anche io sono italiano!
Air Dealer e suono anche io la chitarra
Ah vedi? :) Felice di accogliere un altro italiano in questo canale
Bella! :D
Air Dealer eccone un altro
Thanks alot it sounded really good
Dude really nailed the phrasing on November Rain. A piece that is difficult not because of speed/number of notes but precisely the accuracy of the bends, subtlety of vibrato and when and how to attack notes. Kudos!
Thanks dude! :D
I'm probably the only guitarist out there who doesn't like the hotel california solo.
It just doesn't speak to me. It sounds so boring and risk free. Like a perfect life where nothing exciting happens.
No sweet child o mine solo? You're whack
Hi Lorenzo. Great playing and great guitar! You look like the young Mick Taylor
Cool video Lorenzo - the video quality looks great too!
+Jesse Fildes Thank you so much Jesse ! I'm so happy to see you here.
Cheers!
Great video. Rock On
Brilliant playing mate!
Thanks dude! :)
Cara, muito legal! Gostei! Simples e objetivo! Sem frescura!

You are awesome young man!! I’m 54 and just bought my electric guitar, Ibanez RG, and I hope I can play at least half as good as you!! I liked and sub’d!! Rock on!!🤘🏼
+Seliece Duckwitz Thank you so much Seliece! Keep playing and enjoy it! Playing an instrument is fantastic!
Cheers and Rock and Roll! :)
Great Playing and great guitar and great Sound!
Very inspiring!
+Dr.Senf Thank you Senf!
Such a nice comment!
Cheers and I'm happy I've inspired you ;)
You forgot about Eric Clapton, especially any of his solos from the Beano album which really started the Les Paul craze and also any solo by Duane Allman and Dickey Betts, not to mention Warren Haynes. But no complaints about your playing. Very good technique and your tone nails the Les Paul sound. Nicely done!
whoa!..nice one on the november rain bro!
really beautiful man
i love your videos man ! ;) can you do full covers?? ;)
david reyes Thank you David! I'll see :D I'm glad you asked me
Great demo and playing. Thanks. They all sound great, but part of that is the playing. To my ear as you progress up the line, each guitar sounded slightly fuller with just a touch more sustain. The Les Paul Standard just had the little extra bottom end and growl; plus when dialed back a little, its rings and sings just a bit more. However, the perception after visiting GC the other day is a little different, every single Epi Les Paul copy had a lower quality feel to the fretboard, the frets were a little less finished, or rough, and in spite of high action, the top 2 strings still managed to fret out at various places between the 10th and 15th fret. I found the same to be true of the Les Paul Studio that I tried, they just feel less refined and several also fretted out above the 10th. Granted a good luthier could fix all of these issues with a top-end set up for around $125 to $150, which still makes these models a great value given the affordable starting prices. On the other hand, the Les Paul Standards that I tried felt just the way you would expect from a high-end guitar, they only needed a basic string height adjustment to preference and intonation.
nice...! loved the way u set up the room.
Thanks! :)
Lorenzo you are great!.Especially Hotel California even better then the original one.
You're too much kind! Hahahah really really thanks! :)
Sounded great, thats a nice guitar!

Thank you anyway! :)
That was amazing man what pickups are in ur les Paul I’m buying a standard and want the right one that tone was amazing just what I’ve been looking for
Nice playing man! What year/color is that led Paul?? It’s awesome!
One of my favourite Les Paul solos is While My Guitar Gently Weeps by The Beatles, it's just so amazing and it was done by Eric Clapton before giving that same guitar to George Harrison
Awesome video! Big ups for the November Rain in this. If you don't mind me asking, and I'm sure you answered this, but what string gauge are you using? Im watching your bends and nerding out dude.
Hi Benjamin! Don't worry :) I was using a 0.10 strings gauge here
Cheers!
Awesome bro awesome all solos i am just starting to play electric guitar can you suggest me what should i do for learning it
I man! For sure! The best things I can start working on are the songs you like more. The first time you'll play it will be SO HARD but don't give up and struggle on it! ;)
Beautiful les paul and excellent tone!
+Nferno Thanks! :)
