Back in summer 2018 at Griots HQ, they first demonstrated this new product lineup. Those first run of the cannon had a small defect which they fully replaced when customers submitted warranty issue. That is why GG is still a top choice with the DIYers for their customer warranty.
Foaming surface wash’s surfactants are insane I love it. It acts similar to reset and cleans quite well too. I’ve been using this as a pre cleaner for a while. It’s slept on for sure. Underrated was great call for sure.
Whats cool is when finished using the foam soap bottles, you can mix up what ever you use to clean wheels & tires in one of the bottles to apply with the Griots foam canon. In another bottle mix up some Superior Formula 4 for spot free rinse, and so on and so forth. Plus they have caps, when not using
I've bought, used, and throw away several foam guns.. I would have saved a lot of money if I bought the Griot foam cannon first. Love this thing, Acid soaps, alkyne soaps, dawn, whatever you use it works great... So far hundreds of car and it continues to perform great time day after day, month over month, and year over year. Great job Jamie..
Poly gloss is a quick way to apply a light 3-month protection on the entire exterior and make the customer happy. If you have a customer that plans to get rid of their vehicle soon great way to give short term shine with little effort.
Griot's Garage has great products. Some people "pooh-pooh" their products because some auto parts stores carry their products. I've been a fan of Griot's since the mid 1980s.
My all time favorite foam cannon! I have been using it since it first came out and it has never let me down yet. I love the metering tips and how versatile it is being able to switch bottles quickly and also being able to attach other companies product bottles directly to the cannon as well and use the metering tips. One of the most versatile and heavy duty foam cannons on the market today. You will love it if you get one.
I’ve been using the boss foam cannon for my part time detail gig for a year or so and I kinda forgot you could attach the bottles like that lol. I’ve always been afraid it was gunna suck off the whole bottle. looks like I need to get some griots soap!
You guys with electric pressure washers are missing out. I have the mjjc 3.0, and I can get foam 4 inches thick to hang on the door panels. If I use straight, undiluted soap in the cannon it just keeps building up outwards until it collapses under its own weight. It's like a foam party lol. Thicker foam doesn't really do anything, though, since only the foam touching the paint matters. It's still fun :)
Yeah the mjjc also rifles through soap like no other foam cannon, of course its gonna foam the best. I used 750ml with mjjc compared to 450ml with the mtm.
@JamieTheCleaner Your equipment is better than mine so I need you to do this for US. Put the BOSS canon on a 32oz bottle of P&S Frostbite as it SHOULD thread right on…mine did. The consistency of Frostbite is near enough the BOSS liquids. Use the purple tip and see if Frostbite foams as well and uses more or less what it does if mixed in a bottle. I believe this will work.
I love the ceramic all in one wax from griot’s garage, I applied it to one of my costumers trucks and it’s been about a month and it’s still strong like day one 👍🏻
You sounded impressed and if ur impressed I’m impressed! Looked great. Cool how u can foam right from the bottle. It prob works with other brand bottles as well. Thanks for griots demo! Stay hydrated!
Use a combination of Ethos, DIY and P&S recently, more Ethos and DIY though. Never really got into Griots, not a bad brand though. I do wonder if they got an SIO2 based product 12:03 like this coming out though that would be sick!
Foaming surface wash, Jimbo's super soaper, or frostbite for regular washes? Looking to use in the boss cannon. I've only used the surface wash so far...and I'm out. Wondering if any of the alternatives are better. I have been pleased with surface wash
The recommended dilution for their soaps is 20:1 so I would have to guess the purple tip dilutes it at 20:1 or close to it. It’s 21.99 for the surface wash and prep so 20:1 that’s about 1oz 1/2 each that’s 93 cents, so $1.86 for the preps. The poly is a little more expensive at $26.99 so 20:1 for poly so about $1.15 per wash? I’m bad at math but seem around $3 per wash at 20:1 dilution 👍
Eddie, you wouldn’t use the metering tips with diluted product they are just meant to be used with straight soap because they do the diluting for you. I’ve had straight GSF with a purple tip on and I swear it’s never going to run out. I filled it full too

It’s really great for a deep clean and great foam! I don’t use it in the bucket because I feel a cheaper soap can be utilized there.

Looks like Griots parked themselves right on main street in FoamTown USA.....

Many of our detailing products have the ability to thread directly to that foam gun head. Give it a try in the future
Great stuff, thanks for the demo!

Don't sleep on griot's brilliant finish foam cannon!
Griots make some nice products for sure.
What do you call that little maneuver right there at 9:30? that was slick as hell!

The Polygloss has the vertical lines once it settles on the paint too.

Just looked on griots website you can buy extra canisters with a lid and rebuild kit for the cannon.
Griots is so solid!

Awesome review! Thanks for sharing if it really lives up to "The Boss" title! We sent you an email, take a look.
Great review I wonder how accurate that metering tip is.
The T is Griot's is silent.
"Gree-Ohs"
Gree Oats got it
lmao!
@@JamieTheCleaner 🤣
@@JamieTheCleaner you know…just like Ony Chachere’s creole seasoning 😜 … your comments section is pure gold
@@JamieTheCleanerI like to start my morning with a bowl of gree oats in the morning 😆
Heck ya buddy, looks great
Is this color of wash mitt out of stock?
What kind of snub pressure washer gun and pressure tip nozzle (blue one when you are rinsing) are you using?
Boop boop boop system. Looks easy and fast. Can you can refill with other soaps once bottles are empty ?
Yes 👍
You can also dump straight soap into the bottle that comes with the foam cannon as well. Just make sure you use the metering tip
Glad you’re showing off griots they’re what got me into detailing 🔥
They are on point for the most part 💪🧼
amazing review!!
I use griots never had a problem
Obsessed Garage has this as # 1, so they can stand it being American, lol. Same soap, same water, the MJJC performs better.
Love me some road warrior from superior 15$ a gallon rv type soap/degreaser for pre wash
Just when I thought I had enough products….you go and debut a system that looks bad a** lol my pocketbook hates me lol
🫠👍
Kristi lol 😂we think alike. As Jamie would say … oh lord another order 😂
What PSI did you used?
JTC, what did you use to clean all those bugs off the front? Was that a clay mitt? Fellow Louisiana guy needs that hook up haha
Clay towel- amzn.to/4eHoGIe
So my only problem with this system, and don't get me wrong I really like griots a lot. But how much did that wash coast$$$?

Are these products intended to be used for weekly maintenance washes or is it for decon washes?
The first one is only for dirty vehicles that are being prepped 👍
I would Boss all over the cars if I had this foam cannon! Goodness!
Lord
Do you have an overall opinion of your experience with the active 2.0?
@@westcoasttools5179 terrible has a 100% failure rate
@@JamieTheCleaneronce you get an AR, Kranzle, or any other industrial pressure washer, you’ll never go back to the non-serviceable units.
But how dilutable is it?
Purple tip is 20:1 I think
That’s my kind of foam!
Crazy foam!
Where's Jimbo talking trash? 😂
🤣
So really cant use the ph soap on a ceramic
Yeah you can 👍
Griots For The Win
I’ve found the prep wash to be relatively worthless. 🤷🏻♂️
Really? Did some work today I was happy with it 👍
@@JamieTheCleaner cool. I need to give it another shot.
The prep is super strong and it stripped any light protection I had on.
