I was wondering if it was Catalina dressing. I love taco 🌮 salad yours looks awesome. A quick way to cut cherry tomatoes 🍅 from Rachel Ray is to take a container cover and put it over the top of a bunch of them and you can cut them easy. Congratulations how far will it be between Earnie??? It will be nice for him to have a sibling closer in age. I know he must love the older ones and want to be a big kid to. Family treasures past down family history.

Oh, and your sourdough recipes are how I found you... I've baked very little, but found success through a sweet lady who had the rep of the Queen of sourdough...😊 she gave me some newly fed starter. I have since paid it forward, and shared some as well. My mom loves sourdough, but my hubby doesn't. So, during times when mom is with us, I bake for her and myself. Your house is just fine as it is !! It's lived in..a lovely family lives there. There is no decor or shelf trinkets that could make a family home more lovely than one which is obviously lived in by a healthy happy family. That decor cannot be bought. Lets just step over toys & socks and get to canning & making butter and cheese & coconut pie. 😁😉😘

If you really struggle, watch The Elliot Homestead's dry starter video. It made it so much easier for me to do sourdough. No feeding and discarding and the starter lives in the fridge ☺️

I had been looking at it and pondering purchasing it for years :-) the price and me questioning “do I really need it” stopped me from purchasing. The price kept going up and my family’s bread needs increased, so I figured it was now or never. I’m so glad I did. They also make what they’re calling a Sourdough Home-I’m not so sure if that’s a “need”. I keep my starter in the refrigerator until I’m ready to bake with it.

We live on my family's farm...built our own house here....my parents run beef cows which we help with....We have a dairy cow, pigs, chickens, all the critters. I homeschool and have 5 kiddos (Lord willing maybe a few more will come along as well!), homebirth, gardening, canning, preserving, cheesemaking, homemade whenever possible. Our husbands even have the same name I realized during this video haha! So fun to follow along!

Pregnant! I figured. Lol. Congratulations. I'm 16 weeks now and finally over the the fatigue. If everything goes well this will be my second home birth too. The last one wasn't planned so hopefully will be a little more prepared this time. Especially where the mattress is concerned 😅 I'd love to try a water birth but unfortunately that's not an option ☹️ I know all about having a messy house. My kids are 4, 3, & 2.

No normal woman with children has a house that is totally clean at any given time. Maybe the day before Thanksgiving---NAH! I have had a big set of Pfaltzgraff "Independence," which is the grayish/blue set. You should google the info about the original production of the brand--it's interesting. I've added to my set at resale/antique shops over the years at really low prices. Also~you probably know this, but never wash your antique quilts in the washer. It will quickly shred the fibers of the old fabric, and destroy the cotton batting. I chose to write with a fine point sharpie the provenance of each treasured. I wrote a small note in a corner of the back of each one, so that my children will know that it is part of their heritage. I didn't tell my mother or grandmother, though! 😬 Blessings!

Pregnant! I figured. Lol. Congratulations. I'm 16 weeks now and finally over the the fatigue. If everything goes well this will be my second home birth too. The last one wasn't planned so hopefully will be a little more prepared this time. Especially where the mattress is concerned 😅 I'd love to try a water birth but unfortunately that's not an option ☹️

Yay!! You got this! Have you found a midwife who will come to your house for the birth? I'm planning our 3rd homebirth, our first 2 were uncomplicated hospital births. I am 37 wks now.
“Contraband “ that is so funny, I’m 64 and that’s what I called junk food when I was raising my 4 kids ! My kiddos would help bring in groceries and put them away and would come across a beloved junk food and YELL “woo hoo, mom bought contraband!”

No normal woman with children has a house that is totally clean at any given time. Maybe the day before Thanksgiving---NAH! I have had a big set of Pfaltzgraff "Independence," which is the grayish/blue set. You should google the info about the original production of the brand--it's interesting. I've added to my set at resale/antique shops over the years at really low prices. Also~you probably know this, but never wash your antique quilts in the washer. It will quickly shred the fibers of the old fabric, and destroy the cotton batting. I chose to write with a fine point sharpie the provenance of each treasured. I wrote a small note in a corner of the back of each one, so that my children will know that it is part of their heritage. I didn't tell my mother or grandmother, though! 😬 Blessings!

Oh no! You put Dorito chips on your taco salad too? Lol We just had taco salad two days ago with them - even though we know how unhealthy they are, and we won't even let white bread in our house.
