There are 16 years between my oldest sister and myself. I'm the youngest of 6 girls with age gaps between me and the rest being 2, 4, 11, 13, and 16 years. I'm the lucky one. They're my biggest cheerleaders. Happy Thanksgiving!🦃
I see nothing but love emanating from your home. And it permeates to the rest of us who are fortunate and appreciative to enjoy it. May God continue to bless you and your family in Jesus name.
New follower here 👋🏻 I started cleaning up who I’m subscribed to I got tired of seeing people getting rich off our views and having nothing to offer but to show off that they have an endless budget for not doing much. They say it’s much but vlogging errands you already have to do is nothing. Try working and having to do errands around that as well as everything else. Ok rant over lol anyway this content is actually giving back. It teaches me new things and way more enjoyable than to watch pointless dry videos. Thank you for your efforts and videos
I’m not to sourdough and I love love your channel and have been watching the videos over and over! I made the cinnamon swirl bread in the Pullman pan that I had. You always look amazing, may I ask where you get those beautiful dresses, I just love them. Thank you for teaching me so much, my husband passed away unexpectedly in July and I’ve been making my bread since. I’m also grinding wheat sometimes, switched back to regular flour to get the sourdough started going because it wasn’t growing well but things are going good right now! Thank you Stephanie 🤗
New subscriber and I love your channel and your dedication to your family (your husband is very lucky!), but my heart jumped when I saw your little boy sitting on the edge of the counter. My husband is a Firefighter and he's been on those calls of a toddler falling from a counter many times. Not trying to be nosy or mean, just a word of caution from an older homeschooling, from scratch cooking mom of 4. Much love to you and your family.
I always cook for a large crowd at Thanksgiving. There are 8 of us along with our 2 adult children's significant others, my brother and his wife, my mother, my best friend and her husband along with their 2 adult children and their significant others, my husband cousin and her husband and 2 children. We also have an open door policy for anyone else who needs somewhere to go.
Happy birthday I have an age gap for my children: one is 18, 16 and about to be 2. And the older ones love having a baby/toddler around. Very protective and I enjoy each stage
If i was your neighboor we would be great friends! We have a lot in common! Except im still in working science field. Im a machine in the kitchen. Im spanish and we would be sharing great recipes all the time!
Happy Birthday 🎈 to the Birthday child. And Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. I love watching you dance around your kitchen opening and shutting the oven with your feet. You are so amazing. Enjoy your videos so much.
How do set the table do you put all the the dishes on the counter and let people serve themselves?. I set the table I’m hosting 18 people and doing all the cooking that why all the prep in advance. Table is set and I put plastic over it so it does not get dusty. I usually put all the dishes of the food I’ve made in platters, and bowels I’m very simple everything is clear glass. I add a small tiny vase of flowers and oranges for color
You're always so calm! New to the channel, but I very much enjoy your videos and approach to life and the way you support your family. Hello from Australia.
You are amazing. You did so much and everything looked delicious. We do not have Thanksgiving in Australia but we do a Turkey for Christmas. Your family are lucky to have you. Hope they spoil you sometimes.❤
We live in the Deep South and make cornbread dressing. I did make stuffing for the first time for a church gathering and it was ok. I used sausage, apples, onions , and celery. The people that weren’t from the South just raved over it. 😆It was good but I’m used to dressing. Another thing we make is chicken and dumplings for the holidays. Those are always a hit. Your apple pie is a genius idea. I’ve never seen that done like that. Everything looked yummy! Have a great Thanksgiving! I forgot to mention but my hubby scored me a big set of Pfalzgraff dishes and mixing bowls at one of my favorite antique stores. I was so excited. I thought about you. I already have a canister from them. It’s so pretty!
When you said your husband was standing there telling you how to do the turkey ……. Because he could have done it better…..😂 I felt that . My husband is so like that God bless him. I love him so but if he doesn’t do it, it’s not done right . Well I def want things done right so I graciously let him do it all 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I really love your creativity! Keep it up my friend! Success is what happens after you have survived all of your disappointments! Never give up, great things take care! It deserves all success around and I'm here for you!
Looks delectable! No other words to describe your Thanksgiving meal. I did notice your cutting board rocking a bit when you were chopping. Consider putting a dish towel underneath your cutting board to control the movement. Sending love and light.
watched your last video and now here I am starting a roast watching this one this morning .. which i’m sure will lead to adding another recipe to this weeks meal plan and a grocery trip 😂❤
Love your videos you inspire me to cook from scratch but you are a master at it. God bless you. I know you must have been ready to sit down eat and rest.from oklahoma
I’m new here and subscribed. Love watching you cook! Your so calm. Bless you 😊. Really a great looking dinner. I know your guests had to love it all! I loved your slab apple pie! I need to make one of those! ❤Thank you have a Blessed day. ❤
I've been watching/listening to several of your video's while doing housework. Great info but I saw your cutting board moving around cutting the bread cubes and wanted to suggest putting a wet cloth underneath. This will stop it from moving.. ❤
Everything looks amazing. I‘ve been thinking about ways to keep the turkey moist and was considering a brine but I think I’m going to inject it instead with some homemade bone broth and spices. Love the idea. Just one question, I think you used a meat bone broth if I’m not mistaken. I was thinking a chicken bone broth only because it’s the same family but maybe beef would give it a better flavor. Thoughts??
Wow Steph you did an amazing job, thank you for sharing! When you were setting up to cook your mash potatoes & had Ernie in your arms, looks like he got into the markers & created some beautiful artwork on his leg 😂
Oh do you see my messages darling? Wonderful video I went to gourmet cooking school in SF and I do things in an organized way as you do. I bake my pumpkin pies on Wednesday.
When your hens get too old and aren’t laying anymore, do you process them as meat birds? I’m just wondering because I’m a one year new chicken mama and I’m wondering how I will maintain chickens for the long term.
Incredible! I felt kinda bad for you that you did all that work by yourself. Maybe you had help behind the scenes? Anyway, great job and wish I were there. 😶
you are amazing!! How you were able to do all of that with no help, one oven, kids everywhere, and pregnant!!! I would have mom brain. In some of your pass videos you had commented on how you were able to get your babies onto solids. My baby is 11 months and gags and then throws up when he eats any solids. Any advice?
Wow, it all looks delicious!! 😍You put a lot of work and love into his birthday meal, so thoughtful! Was wanting to try the slab pie, but wondering if in your recipe above, did you mean for one of the flour measurements to be sugar?:) Was it the 1/4 cup or the whole cup? Or neither?! Thanks so much:)❤
HI! I am currently looking for new pots and pans. I have heard some suggest moving away from nonstick and to stainless steel, I also need a dutch oven pot and don't know which to get. I don't want to ruin my hard work with toxic pans. Any advice? Love the videos!
@@HopewellHeightsthank you! Do you find that stainless is difficult to cook with? I have heard stuff sticks bad, is it just a learning curve from the nonstick or is it more difficult? Did you decide to cook with these things because of the health concern?

thank you!
Lol, I thought I was the only one who opened a oven door with my feet. 😂cute!😅

...Neat. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! ❤️
I love turning food scraps into eggs and bacon
Truly the best!
Thank you for not jumping to Christmas videos and skipping Fall and Thanksgiving altogether.
Still a few weeks before any Christmas talk! 😉
Here's a mom and wife that really has it together! Wonderful video Steph...I'm impressed!
Thank you!

Your videos make me wanna start a homestead ❤
A homestead is where you live...just make it yours 😊
Thank you looks fantastic 👍🏽😊
Hello I just watched your video and I really enjoyed it. I subscribed, because it was really interesting.
Amazing!
It amazes me what you are able to accomplish in that short time and pregnant on top of it! You are amazing!!
My husband was home on this day so that helped!!

My goodness, you are a machine! Your meal looks so delicious - everything! Happy Thanksgiving from South Australia🇦🇺 ❤
My boys were 11 and 8 when we welcomed our little girl and it has been so amazing having a big age gap!

I stuff my bird but I temp the center of the stuffing to ensure safety 😊
Happy birthday

Haha he definitely gets territorial with certain types of meat - turkey is one! Luckily I passed the test this time!
Brilliant! 😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you for leaving a link for the French press. I love yours. I have a cheapo lol and I want one like yours. I SHALL HAVE IT😂😊
You’ll love it!
Where did you find your long wooden cutting board? I adore it and could use one like it!
You're amazing! And you're kitchen is so pretty. I raised 10 children so I can relate. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

In Puerto Rico we do not inject we put everything under the skin. I’m preparing tomorrow and let it marinate until Thursday am
I just found you about two months ago and I love, love you! I’m enjoying all your videos. You’re great!
What a beautiful meal Steph, love to see what you do with all the lovely leftovers

Soooo worth it momma!
Simply beautiful! Great job!! ❤
It's a good idea to soak your cut leeks to get the sand out

Another great video Steph, hope your child had a lovely birthday. What a lovely feast. Your little Ernie is adorable ❤
Everything looked wonderful. I just did my last minute shopping to make sure I’m ready to make our Thanksgiving meal!!
Happy Thanksgiving to u!
What brand are your dishes? They are beautiful
Almaty has some toasted coconut marshmallows that would be so good on that sadder potato casserole but I don’t know if they have this time of year😊
Just caught the brand oven!!! Now officially on my new kitchen appliances list. Love the video ❤
I loved this video so much! So relaxing and inspiring ❤ always excited to watch your videos 🥰
Happy Thanksgiving too you and your family. 🙏🙏
I laugh watching you open and close the oven with your foot. Lol. It will be fun to see when you are 9months!
you are amazing!! How you were able to do all of that with no help, one oven, kids everywhere, and pregnant!!!
I would have mom brain.
In some of your pass videos you had commented on how you were able to get your babies onto solids. My baby is 11 months and gags and then throws up when he eats any solids. Any advice?
can u do videos on how u raise your cows/pigs?
This was great!! Thank you for sharing before Thanksgiving ❤
I have never put stuffing in the turkey I do the same an onion
Wow, it all looks delicious!! 😍You put a lot of work and love into his birthday meal, so thoughtful! Was wanting to try the slab pie, but wondering if in your recipe above, did you mean for one of the flour measurements to be sugar?:) Was it the 1/4 cup or the whole cup? Or neither?! Thanks so much:)❤
Could you please please tell me the brand name of your beautiful blur stove, please, thank you and God Bless you and yours always and forever.
Hello so for your stuffing You didn’t bake it? I never seen a recipe that it wasn’t baked I found this interesting 😊
Nope!
People with high blood pressure use salt substitute
Do you can that huge jar of bone broth or drink it😋
Do you have pecan topping that have marshmallow topping that’s usually what I do when I make it
I think you could easily add marshmallow to this recipe!
Sorry I was driving and my talk to text clearly didn’t work. Lol . I meant you can do half pecan crumble and half marshmallows. That’s what I do.
HI! I am currently looking for new pots and pans. I have heard some suggest moving away from nonstick and to stainless steel, I also need a dutch oven pot and don't know which to get. I don't want to ruin my hard work with toxic pans. Any advice? Love the videos!
I use cast iron, enamel coated cast iron, and stainless!
@@HopewellHeightsthank you! Do you find that stainless is difficult to cook with? I have heard stuff sticks bad, is it just a learning curve from the nonstick or is it more difficult? Did you decide to cook with these things because of the health concern?
For me yes it is more difficult than cast iron as far as things sticking, so I mostly use stainless for broths, soups, sauces, etc@@812hbp
I think Wolf had a recall. Check your model.
Where did you get the whisk
Little house on the prairie called they want their dress back
Ma is the best! Thanks for the compliment!
Walmart not almaty
Get in the bed, you just had a baby and watching you is making me HURT LOL..
Mother of 5 here ... I'm not as tough as you.
Do take care
