Respectfully, we need a tour of you house haha! I'm literally modeling my kitchen after yours because I'm obsessed with the layout, I love your style and content girlie!!
I am a chef and after the death of my mother had lost my passion for cooking. However, after watching your videos I can hardly wait to get back in the kitchen.
I am cracking up. My dad has done that for years… “you know what this is made with??? LOVE” and we all cringe hahaha so funny that you do that too and now I’ll gladly pass it on to my kids 😂
Thank you for your quality videos. As a retired nurse I appreciate the details and use of critical thinking put into your teaching moments. You are a true joy to follow❤
I love that you use carrots in your sauce. I frequently mix extra veggies in mine and butternut squash is one that works a lot like tomato paste for me to thicken up my sauce. I would have never thought to put a cookie sheet over the lasagna. What a great way to cut down on aluminum foil usage!
I absolutely adore your videos. When I wake up in the morning and see you have posted something, I am always so excited. Your videos are so relaxing to me and provide such wonderful recipes and information, too. I live on the west coast of Florida within city limits, so I am unable to enjoy all of these firsthand. However, watching you brings me a sense of peace as if I was there with you, and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate these videos and appreciate you. ❤️
You have inspired me to use fresh ingredients and strive for a more natural way of life. Love your videos! I'm making my first batch of laundry soap this weekend ☺ Thank you Steph! Have a blessed day!
Love Scratch Cooking! Please give us an in depth tour of your kitchen. I am always curious about your layout, appliances, tools, ingredients, bulk food storage, organization etc.
Love the different layer of homemade cooking. I’ve never added carrots to my sauce before. I’ll have to try it. Congratulations on being pregnant!!! I’ve wondered in the last video you made.
Your lasagna looks delicious! I hear u when referring to your hubby and needing more meat. I myself could do without most times but he NEEDS (😅) meat and potatoes.
You are a amazing Woman Steph. The food looked fabulous !! I use to make homemade lasagna ( not the noodles or cheese but the rest. Took quite a while for the sauce. I guess I should of just said I made sauce. Lol You definitely can taste the difference with homemade. Excuse me but did you say you were pregnant? Or did you mean past tense ? I was thinking how it seems most people ( at least in my world ) don’t cook homemade anymore. It’s sad how those skills are being lost. I was lucky to be a full time homemaker / Mom. Seems so long ago….God bless your family 🤗
i've been playing around with pasta making for the last few months. i need to get myself one of those pasta rollers/cutters i can do a decent job rolling/cutting them by hand but its a bit more time consuming than i'd like and i think i could get them a bit thinner with one of those. and i agree you can't go back to store bought lol. nothing better than homemade noodles/gnocchi
I know you probably already know this but Chelsea from little mt ranch makes garlic cloves in honey. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m definitely going to.
❤Everything looks delicious! Love cooking homemade. One thing I struggle with is making a gluten free pie crust. I need to watch your other pie video. 😊
Your vegetables look amazing so fresh! And your lazzana and pie !! 🤌 Also my family and i use a TON of garlic its a natural immune booster as well you could finely chop with jalapenos if you like..? With tad of raw honey And make a jam! When i was preg it was a highly craved snack 😋 Anyhow .. thanks for sharing another great video! Btw my husband would be exactly the same coming home from a 14hour+ construction shift.. and not enough meat! 😶😅 Lol i hear you on that one!!🥴 I love that you start your day cooking and preping as i have to too some of my family and friends dont understand when its only 8am and after breakfast im already beginning dinner.. but as a busy stay at home mom of 4.. its only so im not in full rush at the end of the day.. and everything is ready for when the hubs gets home thats pizzaz!✨❤️ Haha "i use that all the time around here now my oldest daughter uses it 😂 GodBless!
I love seeing you and cooking and caring for your home but I really miss the baby and children. These are times we need to see home life but I do understand your reason. Listen to God and He will direct you 😂❤
I feel like you’ve posted where you get your cheesemaking utensils from (not sure if utensils is the proper term- maybe equipment LOL). I tried finding the video.. could you link the website you buy from? I’m going to try and start this Friday 😁❤️🙏🏾
Do you happen to have a video for your yogurt? I also do raw milk yogurt, and I would love to see how you do yours. Like how long you let yours incubate, what starter do you use, is it cold start, etc. Thank you!
@cherivanmeter6195 I pour my milk into my instant pot and stir in my starter. So far, I've used plain yogurt from the store as my starter. I do not boil, or scald the milk. I hit the yogurt button once to display the incubation time, which I set for 12 hours. As soon as it's done I remove the lid, and top with foil or a plate. Do not stir. I let it sit in fridge for 12 hours. Then I strain through a cheesecloth to thicken just a bit more. It's very creamy. Sorry for the long answer, but I know when I was researching it I wanted details! Hope that helps.
@@MarfaPavlovna I have also seen people do it without an instant pot. Although I have never tried it, it seemed rather simple. Just pour your yogurt into a heavy bottomed pot on the stove top. Heat slowly to 100-110 degrees, and remove from heat. Stir in your culture, and mix well. Wrap in a towel to help hold in the warmth. Put in your oven with the light on. Do not turn the oven on, just the light. That should generate enough warmth to allow incubation. Let sit in oven up to 24 hours. You can refrigerate for about 12 hours, and then strain to further thicken. Everything was the same except incubation. Instant Pot or oven. Both were just holding temp so they could incubate. I have never had to use the gelatin. Once it is refrigerated, and strained it is thick and creamy. I will keep that in mind for sure though. Thanks!!!
Lasagna without mozzarella cheese not good one of easy meals to make Many years ago I did work in a restaurant Some customers ask spinach Some meat sauce
Yesterday at work i met your doppleganger. She looked SO MUCH like you i legit caught myself staring and had to go back to one of your videos to compare faces. She's also a nurse... However.... SHE IS YOUR ANTITHESIS!.. not health driven, not in any way interested in homemaking or homesteading.. what was odd is that there was something about it that rubbed me wrong and i knew it in about 5 seconds... Yet.. She looked JUST LIKE YOU so my brain was so confused... But I'm like.. No way it's her cuz... These two women are nothing alike. So.. Unless you have a twin sister nurse in North Texas... Then I'm gonna just say you have a dopple ganger lol.
Respectfully, we need a tour of you house haha! I'm literally modeling my kitchen after yours because I'm obsessed with the layout, I love your style and content girlie!!
I would so love a tour, too!!!!!!!

Ahhhhhhh, to be young again. My back is hurting just watching you. 🤣👍💜

I knew a baby was a brewin’ since two videos ago! Yay! Praise God for the gift of life and motherhood 💕!
Love your cutting board!
Thank you! It’s one of my favorite things in my kitchen!
"If power goes out, i still need to be able to make pasta..." a girl that understands the importance of carbs 😂❤

It’s more work but so satisfying!
Love Scratch Cooking! Please give us an in depth tour of your kitchen. I am always curious about your layout, appliances, tools, ingredients, bulk food storage, organization etc.
I’ll add that to my list!
The deep red and purple heirloom tomatoes are best for sauce and canning. Cooking them down they almost have notes of wine in their depths.
I love watching your videos as a young wife! I am so excited to strive to live a life like this!
All butter in pie crust is the way to go!
I cannot eat dairy or grains, but I like to watch your videos anyway!😂 I love your channel. Thank you for taking the time to film all this for us.❤
Love the different layer of homemade cooking. I’ve never added carrots to my sauce before. I’ll have to try it. Congratulations on being pregnant!!! I’ve wondered in the last video you made.
My favorite part of this kitchen is the faucet over the stove. What a labor saver.
Goals! I would love to start making everything from scratch
Love the toast with your garlic! lol! I love garlic too and always quadruple the garlic in a recipe. Yum!
I have just started following channel in the last 2 months and it has quickly become my favorite!!
I bet your homemade lasagna is delish!!! You are a really good cook!!!
What a beautiful meal😋
Your lasagna looks delicious! I hear u when referring to your hubby and needing more meat. I myself could do without most times but he NEEDS (😅) meat and potatoes.
Great idea to use sheet pan to cover the Lasagna!
Please dont stop posting I have watched all your videos and anxiously await any new ones
Love your channel ❤
Thank you for the inspiration ❤

I’m dying here… I’ve been with you forever on Instagram and here… did I miss a pregnancy announcement?????❤❤
I have been wondering the same thing for a few videos lately.
Looks delicious
Yeah been waiting for you 😊
ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS ❤
Great! Raw garlic to prevent GBS, not sure if I have it, but less than 4 wks to go til my EDD, and had it with one of my previous pregnancies.
We use an obscene amount of garlic around here too.
You are my favorite, I look for o everyday!!!!

Would you give some advice on growing onions and garlic. My garlic always dies and my onions are the size of a golf ball.

17:40 gaaah reminds me of my mom, ❤❤ always need all the meat at meals, I hear it’s a different blood type thing
Where did you get that long cardigan in the last part of the video?! It’s beautiful and looks soooo comfy!
ASOS a long time ago, it’s a fave!
I'm new to the channel. Did I miss something, are you pregnant? I haven't had a lot of time to go back into older video. If so, congratulations!
I was just wondering the same thing since you mentioned GBS. Have you had that before? Do you have home births?
I actually toast my coconut that goes in my filling
Thank you for today's inspiration!
How much citric acid do you use for the ricotta?
Those looked amazing! Can you use pasteurized milk to make cheeses? I don’t have access to unpasteurized milk 😢
Your husbands sounds just like mine is 😂 mine is a meat-man too. I could eat pasta all day long, he cannooooot 😂😂😂😂
I feel like you’ve posted where you get your cheesemaking utensils from (not sure if utensils is the proper term- maybe equipment LOL). I tried finding the video.. could you link the website you buy from? I’m going to try and start this Friday 😁❤️🙏🏾
I love video you
Cloths pins would hold your cheese cloth in place
Great tip!!

How do you keep the raw milk from killing your starter? I've tried a couple of times and always end up with very watery and not tangy yogurt.

I don't have an instant pot, but believe she did her yogurt in one, with gelatin to firm up, set it for 24 hrs.

Where do i go for your pie crust recipe you used in this video?
They can pay people to go "Farming" For Petes Sake NO CHEMICALS"
Do you have a link to your raw milk yogurt? I have tried to make it circles on, and it never works.
Adopt ME❤
Super woman❤
Definite pizazz! 😂
❤
What food processor do you use?
Respectfully, is there a new baby on the way?
