Making dados in your woodworking projects can be a tough job if you have to make more than just one and have them evenly spaced. My woodworking router jig makes perfect dados and grooves in a fraction of the time it take to use a tape measure and clamp a straight edge and route each dado separately. I don't get as much time in my woodshop as I'd like, so this time saving router jig was a great answer!

A well thought out jig, to very simply make dados that are parallel to each other. Magical. And somehow done without 15 minutes of wasted time talking about stuff we don't GARA about. How can this be on You Tube? Thanks Nick, well done.
Haha, thanks much

I have begun a 18 bay side by side storage rack ...my dado's needed to be @5 1/2"...your jig made it so simple to set up for my palm router...finished with 36 dado's in less than 1 hour....
Thanks again
That’s awesome to hear - you are most welcome

Thanks - I try to keep them clean - cleaner than my shop anyway
Awesome jig, I like how it can cut any length and yet remain small.
Perfect for repeat, evenly spaced, and parallel cuts. I will look to see if the adjustable version is around, but either way, it's easy and quick to make so it wouldn't hurt to have different ones for different needs. 👍
Oh, and the pre-drilling holes to align the router advise was also very helpful.
Good laughs at the end too!
I gotta say dude. Well done video. Good teaching ability, concise, well spoken. I just learned a good trick for my next project - a DVD shelf unit.
