The bike looks great! The dogs are funny when they hop through the overgrowth ❤ when you mentioned snakes and the toilet when I was a child I had an irrational fear of snakes coming up the toilet when I sat on it. 😱😱😱 stay well and protect your toes while doing construction work.

@@yvonneferguson5205 haha, when in construction works back in Brazil, Its all I wore. Besides breaking, I got burned too. Cement burns are no fun btw. When It happened I quickly googled and found once it starts, the only thing that stops it is vinegar or something with that ph. Happy I googled. As google also pointed out that when that happens it can burn down to the bone. So yes, lessons learned. Never step in cement with Havaianas when there is chemical stuff added to make it harden faster. In any other occasion, wear them 🤣

That was after I broke my toe whilst wearing boots and I couldn’t wear anything else because my foot had swollen. 🤷🏼♂️ I’ll give you one guess why I will end up having an accident… When I should be concentrating on the job in hand (whilst wearing appropriate gear) I’ll lose my concentration because I’ll be thinking of the endless safety gear comments. I’m kind of joking but it feels like that.

I replaced the windows in my house with a thin frame and one big sheet of glass . Hinges at the top and opens and pushes out at the bottom, let's in loads of light now so your windows would work like that 👍

I know it's not easy to wear proper safety boots in this heat but doing so when working on the house and the land is a must if you're going to keep moving forward at a steady pace. The electrical and plumbing must also be done to code, I assume, so it might take longer than you think. For now you need to take care of your poor toes and feet and maybe focus on some small projects for the interior design, like that mirror with the metal frame or other wood projects, etc...take care of yourself and hope to see you next week. ❤❤❤

These videos of yours are always equally entertaining. There were two fun, unintentional details in this video that especially merit mentioning. The first when you appeared at the door of the bus in the light of lightning. It came unexpectedly and was like a proper scene from a horror movie. 😅 Another one was the furry companions' relaxing moment on the couch. ❤ Beauty lives in little details, and you clearly have a knack for seeing them. Andy, thank you so much for continuously sharing these moments for all of us to enjoy. And for those who apparently have fetish for safety gears, I would recommend paying a visit to the hardware store more often.

Andy, love your video's, you and especially your dogs, so I'm suggesting this with the best of intentions. Flipflops are not PPE. I know it's hot and stuff but a pair of lightweight breathable steel toe cappers might be an idea.
As he said multiple times in the video and the comments, he’s wearing the flip flops because his toes are injured and he can’t get any covered footwear on. People seem to have a hard time comprehending
Yep I agree. Got to take care of the foot. When I broke the toe next to the big toe it took around 3 to 4 weeks before I could get back into my work boots without discomfort. But beware and take it from me who messed up after thinking I was healed and all good. Bone needs longer than tissue. I did injure it again working and it nearly set me back to square one. All I did was bump the end of my boot against a steel container moving some waste block material from my place and disposing of it. The doc told me the bone WAS healed but soft and when I bumped it it nearly re-broke it completely. So when it gets to feeling a lot better. Still be cautious. Don't lift much that is to heavy. And don't bump into things.

This must be a common thing with toes. About 2 months ago, I whacked 2 toes on my right foot, and within a week, I hobbled into a chair and messed up a toe on my left foot. So... double hobble and using a cane when I had to go out. That was not only moderately painful but frustrating. So you have my complete understanding.
Definitely chill - if you can’t switch off take paper and pencil and think through the planning for the house - and even what you want to do round the house outside - I find it helps me Also when I’m working in the garden I listen to audio books -Hugh Fraser reading Agatha Christie are free on RUclips and can last over 6 hours - and the time slips by ! I’ve had a bad toe since April due to circulation problems I was told I might lose it but with antibiotics and an artery clearing procedure I’m back to normal - what a difference!
Your editing and thus story telling is quite good. I’ve been in TV for 30+ years and do all my DIY… I can tell folks… all the camera positioning and story telling without narration is not easy. Well done!
I've toured Portugal. there are 3 distinct climates in a small country. The arid Mediterranean like Algarve, the area around Lisbon is like the mid Atlantic states like Maryland, the north is much wetter and more volatile where North Atlantic weather patterns hold sway.
Just wanted to throw a suggestion out there before you get all the floors finished. Would be awesome if you put in a flag stone with your's, Will's and Chris' prints in to commemorate the project. After seeing this maybe you could do it on the threshold of the two kitchens? That way it would still be visible through the glass door Also the haunted house edit at the beginning with the light show was great Keep it up ya clumsy git! Much love

This must be a common thing with toes. About 2 months ago, I whacked 2 toes on my right foot, and within a week, I hobbled into a chair and messed up a toe on my left foot.
So... double hobble and using a cane when I had to go out. That was not only moderately painful but frustrating. So you have my complete understanding.
Definitely chill - if you can’t switch off take paper and pencil and think through the planning for the house - and even what you want to do round the house outside - I find it helps me
Also when I’m working in the garden I listen to audio books -Hugh Fraser reading Agatha Christie are free on RUclips and can last over 6 hours - and the time slips by !
I’ve had a bad toe since April due to circulation problems I was told I might lose it but with antibiotics and an artery clearing procedure I’m back to normal - what a difference!

Your editing and thus story telling is quite good. I’ve been in TV for 30+ years and do all my DIY… I can tell folks… all the camera positioning and story telling without narration is not easy. Well done!
I've toured Portugal. there are 3 distinct climates in a small country. The arid Mediterranean like Algarve, the area around Lisbon is like the mid Atlantic states like Maryland, the north is much wetter and more volatile where North Atlantic weather patterns hold sway.
Just wanted to throw a suggestion out there before you get all the floors finished.
Would be awesome if you put in a flag stone with your's, Will's and Chris' prints in to commemorate the project.
After seeing this maybe you could do it on the threshold of the two kitchens? That way it would still be visible through the glass door
Also the haunted house edit at the beginning with the light show was great
