This was a super bad ass video Tony. I have a lot of respect for you. Had no idea you were in this line of work. I bet you've seen practically everything. It obviously shows that you've worked hard to get where you're at and it goes without saying that you deserve 50 Rolexes offered to you this year!
Hi Tony and chat...just catching up on some older content. So basically you're smart and passionate and work hard and play hard. Many people can learn from your personality and work ethic.
That's really cool Tony. I had no idea you were in the investigation world! Fraud is such a difficult crime to investigate and insurance scams have an impact on the law abiding public. We've had a few organised crime gangs near me doing "cash for crash" claims by damaging their brake lights so the car behind doesn't notice they are stopping until its too late. Much respect for your work Tony, and thanks for a great video. 👍
Hey Paul, yeah, there are a ton of scams out there! Out here the attorneys, body shops and doctors are all in on it. It’s pretty crazy. Thank you for the comment man! 🤙🤙
Fascinating insight and very well explained. Keep doing what you do here... when you're not feeling too wrecked. Most of the time when I get back I never feel like doing anything lol.
Tony, with your work background and knowledge of watches I would like to see you make a video on how to correctly protect a watch collection with home owners insurance. Thanks
Hi, you can’t fully protect watches/jewelry effectively with H/o insurance. You can do an itemized breakdown of what you have, but also depends on your policy. Your safest bet is insuring your watches separately, like Jewels Mutual or another company. That’s how I do it.
I've got the Seamariner lol! Seriously, I've got an S.M.P 42mm. Love your Rolex no date, true icon, love the symmetry of the no date. Well done mate from London, doing a commendable job, you deserve loads of Rolexes! Subscribed 👍🏻
Dude, I’m also in the insurance biz (on the broking side representing the insured), although what you do sounds much more exciting than what I do (I’m on the commercial broking side of the fence and represent the insured for everything from your typical P&C business to Management and Exec Liability and surety to claims handling and risk control). Very interesting post and thanks for sharing! If you’re ever looking for opportunities please hit me up (pretty sure you have my email) as we are always looking at our claims teams and how we can improve that aspect of our business. Knew you were a kindred spirit based on your taste in watches, but now it’s confirmed! Hope the back is holding up well.
Yo Tony, man that is fascinating work. I'm 52 and got into personal lines about 3 years ago. Wife was an underwriter and I had no idea how complicated insurance is and eventually got licensed in all 50 states. And that's just basic licensure on the sales side; the fraud side and investigations seems fascinating. I bet you have some crazy ass stories. Would be awesome to see a video on that but I'm sure you are limited on what you can and cannot say. Congrats on a kick-ass career: subrogation is an impressive cert in and of itself but man to have certs on fraud, mysterious disappearance, coverage limits, etc is insane shit--and I mean that as a compliment! 🤙🤙
Hey man! Thank you! I started as an underwriter as well. It’s where I got my start. That’s cool you got your license in 50 states etc. I definitely have some stories. I’m known for getting the most crazy shit in the office. I was going to start a YT channel on it. Don’t want to bore people on my watch channel! 😂😂🤙🤙 thank you again. 🤙🤙
I came out of a rock club in Boston and found my truck had been stolen. It was late and the buses were no longer running. I had a long walk to police station to report the theft. Days later an insurance investigator came to my house for a statement. On his second visit he told me I was the reason insurance cost so much, in other words he thought I was committing fraud on a truck I had finally paid off. He was very unprofessional. I’m sure you conduct yourself better than he did Tony. By the way the band I saw that night was The pursuit of happiness. Anyone remember them. It was circa 1989.
Man that sucks! Sorry that you had a bad experience. I do the best I can and sometimes people criticize me. But, I won’t ever call someone out during an interview. I don’t remember the band though. All the best man! 🤙🤙
Really interesting video, thanks for sharing Tony. I could chat to you about that all day, it's so different over here even I think just the level/type of crime. I guess smaller country right, we still have crime but it seems to be in smaller doses.
Thank you! Plus I think guns are banned out there right? It’s pretty crazy here. Anyway, since I grew up and spent my life in the entertainment industry I wanted to do something completely different. 😊🤙🤙
@@talkingtimepieceswithtony Knowing that you are, amongst many other things, an “office guy”….kinda makes me wonder which watch you wear most when being in the office 🧐
@@talkingtimepieceswithtony Awesome choice man!!! That watch looks and feels equally at home in the boardroom, on the beach or the recording studio 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Tony !! Wow !! You just increased your Cool factor times 10 !! 🤙🤙🤙 Thanks for sharing !! I also have a question for the watch ball !! What does the watch ball think of the Seiko 41mm SpeedTimer SSC911P1 . There's a few other versions but that one Is my favorite. Im really intrigued by that watch. And the price is not bad PS Your still a Rocker !! more than anything !!
Respect Tony! It’s righteous your a pro and not a douche at the same time. With that said…. I wouldn’t wanna be on the suspect side of one of your investigations 😂. I’m grateful one of your outlets is creating great watch content 👊
Lol, dude, I didn’t investigate that. But from what little I saw there were a bunch of red flags. I think Brit Pearce disappearance of the FP Journe was really shady! 😂😂😂
Tony, first of all, thank you for sharing this. You are so accomplished, and you've worked so hard for everything you have. That is truly admirable. Given your training, do you think the watch ball is intimidated by you? Do you think, the fact that she is working with a trained investigator (you), she is more likely to be accurate? You both are the best.
@@talkingtimepieceswithtony is there any advice you wish you could give yourself in the past? Or, do you have any wise words for your younger viewers out there? I think its really cool you found success in both a creative and a logical field.
