Not saying all creators do this but it is certainly possible as to not give a true review of (key word) EVERYTHING a game has to offer. Simply playing or beating it is not always enough. What I like about Mortis is that his gameplays show a clear understanding of game mechanics, and good skill within the game. I'm so tired of reviewers showing clearly Easy or Normal difficulty and still complaining about how a game was too tedious or they never had to use all options available.
I'm not saying EVERYONE should enjoy a game on hard difficulties, but I do think that as a reviewer you have an obligation to at least try, in order to get a good stress test and understanding of the game's mechanics. These reviews by Mortis give me confidence that whenever he talks about gameplay and lore he is not just talking out of his ass but actually went in and put the effort into his review. Thank you.

Great review dude. Subscription EARNED. One thing of note I think you may have overlooked was the general world of the game and the swarming effect. My take on that is when you get swarmed and / or cornered is because they are robots afterall. Their job is combat mode enabled; to kill. Them swarming on you and pinning / cornering you is mission accomplished. I love that. Similar in a way to Doom Eternal, where everything is hostile including the environment. The Atomic Heart equivalent is obviously the dash and the debris / corpses environment obstacles. They are EVERYWHERE. Getting pinned felt like I wasn’t doing a sufficient job at robot housecleaning and needed to strategise further to not get swarmed and pinned. Atomic Heart is a great great game!!

I guess by doing a pre-release playthrough you couldn't use Flawless Widescreen or UE4 injector to increase the FoV? I mean FW wasn't updated yet and there were no guides for injector. I would've threw up playing with that FoV. Great review, man!

I think I’ll be waiting for a Sale on this one. Hedgie (the rolling ball boss robot thing) gave me a bit of headache (just from all the visual noise) which is weird because I don’t normally get headaches based on video games and flashing imagery. It looks really good though!

Considering this is Mudfish's first game, I'd say the technical issues are completely acceptable. Heck, if Bethesda can release games - Redfall / Starfield - in such poor states of play, a first timer gets major cudos for what they've created. I'll buy and play, just to support the studio. Let's see what else they can produce!
