This is mostly stuff I figured out how to do on my own, I had no idea if I was doing it right but was happy with the results and this video has been extremely helpful
Thank you so much! I've been using Capcut desktop version for some months, and actually, it's quite interesting to see the differences between the desktop version and phone version!
I like this and watch this because it gives me value, nit because i see this man,he is only providing me with a means of overcoming obstacles,i am selfish as all humanity,i atleast aknowledge it
Great video as usual ! Been recording a lot with my RV recently, keeping these files to edit later but still great to see the way you use capcut. For DSLR videos do you use capcut desktop, or a more advanced editor ?
Just started using Capcut both the smartphone and desktop version for a few weeks now. The thing that I've notice is that somehow the quality of the mp4 file is quite bad when comparing with the original. The size is significantly smaller but at same resolution, the video looks bad. Not sure if it's me or what.
is there a way to color grade specific parts of the video by masking it ? like in premiere pro when u color grade skin tones or just the sky.. without applying the whole color grade to the whole video instead?
This is late but, you can use overlay for this. Just duplicate the clip then remove bg. So basically you select the part you want to color grade differently. Can be vise versa tho.
Hello. What can be done about drastic light fluctuations that happened while filming? It happened often enough that rolling through the entire production and adjusting gradually and piecemeal every couple of frames might be very tedious and not even worth the effort what with flitting in and out changes that editing would make for, etc. It would turn out looking "glitchy" like this...in my opinion. UNLESS somebody here could kindly tell me of a possible way to have an editing choice that includes self adjustment AFTER the fact. Fingers crossed. Please help. Thanks.
@@teemu.mp4 It is not helping sadly. I think you get better quality because you get a lot of views. There are lots of people trying to achieve the same quality as yours but tiktok compresses their videos
Hi first great video and thanks for it! I have a question if I may. (This question somehow got lost. If you don't like the question and removed it please let me know so that I don't disturb you again. If it's a duplicate I am so sorry for that). In the beginning you are showing the color squares, I was expecting a gradient map edit, what is the relation between the squares and the curve edit?
You can find my LUTs at www.nightshotacademy.com/shop/p/premium-lut-pack

Means in terms of what
If I am not wrong, pc version has color wheels or something like that.
@@Hawa_Chapaland also alot more codec and even have hdr on phone version only have avc codec and worse video export quality 😂
The effects in the video look fantastic!
I frequently use Filmora to edit my videos, and it's incredibly easy to get the hang of
I personally like the HSL version better because of the less purple and more teal shade of blues.
HSL only controls the you already have in your footage, the colour grade tool is being used because there you can colours in your footage.
Is that the apple lightning pfp hhhhh
Thanks for the video. You mentioned that the format of the source video is the most important- what should I be aiming for here?
dude, I was looking for this !! I have no clue about HSL and I couldn't find clear information like yours. Cheers from Colombia, thanks amigoooo
I also had no idea what to do in graphics!!
very useful techniques! thanks for sharing❤
I discovered the desktop version of Capcut a couple of weeks ago and haven't touched Premiere Pro or Resolve since
Can I get to know how to get to know , how much bits should i add for my 4k resolution
I like this and watch this because it gives me value, nit because i see this man,he is only providing me with a means of overcoming obstacles,i am selfish as all humanity,i atleast aknowledge it
Thank you so much! I only have a phone camera and this helped a lot.
Thanks man, this is what i've been looking for!
Very useful tips man, appreciate it!🙌🏻💙
Glad it was helpful!
Thank youuu!
I think that both options are good. Maybe without HSL looks more natural
Thanks for the comment!
Thats a really interesting clip to start, lots of character
Thanks for that tip ! Happy editing !!
Thanks for this is self explanatory
On pc version of capcut you can select the "parts" of the video with a small color picker and adjust it on the curve editor
This effect has no preset?
Very informative. I really enjoyed it

I use premiere pro out of habit. Lumetri color is pretty much exactly the same as capcut tho.
How did you do the beginning part where the 4 blocks of colours went to their own place and then the colours come out?
Hey , I just want to ask you, where can I find videos like that from theh vid with the rain and things
Thanks for sharing great info to work on.
Thanks for sharing this amazing content :)

I think the HSL way will help with that

It's insane how I only understood how the grading curve works through this mobile app tutorial after watching tons of beginner tutorial videos
THIS IS SO FREAKING USEFUL I LOVE IT! They both are amazing btw ^^ subbed!
I’m new to the ios environment
How do you add audios if you can’t store offline audios on an iphone ?
You can, check the other video I have about the full capcut process
Cap cut is so similar to f cpx except syncing audio… I have to sync in design pro.
What should be the bitrate value for HQ reels when exporting through PC?
Capcut looks good

I cheap LUT plug-ins saves so much time
How come I can’t connect my mobile account to the desktop account? Or log into my acc on desktop?
Hi would you know why my videos come out grainy after exporting from capcut?
Thanks for this
What's a good alternative that is not owned by bytedance?
I can't find capcut on my apple app store on my ohone for some reason...any tips?
same bro
Sorry, this is probably a dumb question - do the LUTs you sell with work in Capcut desktop? Or just Premiere?
Both!
What is luts?
which gimbal are you using at 0:57?
Hi its the zhiyun m3
Thanks bro
Was the video you recorded on a iPhone ?
Great video but how do you get such a high quality on your tiktoks? When I post a tiktok it gets highly compressed and looks bad
Render at 1080p should stop compression problems

Please tell me they support LUTS on the iphone now... I just spent 1700 euros on the phone. It must have LUTS.😭😭
What is luts ?
Transmitir very well explane de and filmed
do you export in 1080p 60 or 30fps
30
@@teemu.mp4 why 30, isn’t 60 smoother ?
@@zekemvrtinez platforms like tiktok and ig only support 30. 60 is not really smoother either, it's unnatural and choppy, not really cinematic.
❤ thank you
What are your thoughts about davinci resolve's color grading??
No experience, although I intend to learn it soon as everyone thinks it's the best.
@@teemu.mp4 I think it is, but i can only do minimal editing and transitions
Is this for pro app or free??
How to save my own LUTs?
How to do that before colour pad animation
