If you're buying this car and expecting tech, you really must be touched in the head. This is a hand made car. All the leather, the stitching, the wood veneer, w12 twin turbo engine, 200mph capable. If that's not enough to get you over a few buttons, cry a river.

The idiots saying this interior is shit, were more than likely shitting their britches in '05 and '06 or driving a '87 civic. They're also the same idiots that would spend $25,000 on a Skyline GTR thinking that is somehow justified.

I had 2 Bentley Turbo’s a 90 and a 91, they were amazing cars that I bought used with low miles. I just bought a 2006 with 8k miles, and have a 2000 mile road trip planned for the car. The low used prices make these an amazing and affordable car to add to your collection, or just as a second car. I have a 2009 Porsche Turbo Cab, and a 2012 Turbo Coupe. I know the Bentley will be the perfect compliment. I have a 78 MERC 280CE, and a 300E daily, and all of my cars would sell for more than my cost a few years from now. Buy used / wise, and you will never really spend money for a car. With U-Tube, you can do most minor maintenance yourself and with Ebay, parts are always available at a reasonable price. Drive these cars and enjoy your investment.

it is really tempting to just browse through luxury cars after 10 years of depreciation. The thing is, maintenance and repair cost normally are proportional to their MSRP not their market value. With all that said, I would still wanna get an old SL55 for 23k.

I buy used cars no matter if I can afford it new or not. I'm simply not paying top dollar for a depreciating asset, I find it stupid. Everyone is aware these are expensive to maintain, I only find it dumb if you buy it used at 40-50k then you can't afford to maintain it knowing full well what the maintenance cost are. You should be prepared to 6k-8k if not more annually to maintain it. I like cars so that's something I'm comfortable with since I avoided the 150k depreciation.

Just seen this vid and went through a bulk of the comments. For those bashing this car...it’s not for everyone. I wonder how many actually driven one before they made an comment? This is not a daily driver for about 90% of the ppl that owns one. It’s a second “I just want to cruise and feel some speed” car. And 8 out of 10 ppl that owns one, CAN AFFORD TO MAINTAIN ONE. Most that talk trash about it can’t factor the maintenance cost into ownership. Every car has its fair share of maintenance cost, but those with low cost you see on the streets a dime a dozen because ANYBODY can afford one.
And yes, I own the exact same yr as this one but Cypress. Changed the radio out with a 2018 Kenwood and now have an UP TO DATE entertainment system in it. Being from the Midwest, it’s only driven about 7 to 8 months out of the yr. And it’s a joy to drive!

The SATNAV system seems perfectly usable. I hate touch screens. You get fingerprints everywhere on a "touch screen", and usually they glare more due to the touch-friendly, scratch-resistant coating. Bentleys typically have refined sound systems. I would rahter have a McIntosh system from the 1970's, then a new touchscreen system in a Ford for example. Touch screen doesn't mean didley squat. I would rather have ergonomic buttons, a large digital display, and easy to navigate menus.

Every comment on this video seems to be that Hoovie got a bad one. So, update, Tavarish bought that one and it isn't even that expensive to buy an entire engine. Whether a used Bentley is a good buy is wholly dependent on the buyer's ability and desire to do the maintenance and repairs needed for themselves.

Yeah he jumps and buys completely on price point and that is almost always without exception a poor way to buy. Sometimes you can luck out simply buying on low price alone but most the time it’s bad choice. People who do this are generally more prone to be scammed as con artists make and appeal to human greed and getting a deal. They also go after then inexperienced or stupid. You have to be able to take stock in your purchase before jumping. Now he’s lucky in the way he makes money off these failures and it makes me wonder how much of his crap is simply part of how he gains subscribers so if that’s the case he may in fact actually be one the most cleaver buyers ever as he knows how an idiot buys and does it to draw subscribers.

Absolutely no maintenance history, wasn’t running right and no Bentley expert has worked on that hot mess in ages. 10:1 it’s rigged up deeper inside and Carmax are not fools. Heck they would have looked up the video and history. Let’s not forget Russians will make wooden pistons if they must. They will use any parts to make it go.

My first vehicle was a 72 Chevy and the options were heat, am radio, and a separate key for door and ignition in event you wanted to run the car and lock doors. Course you had to push down both locks manually. Later I’d upgraded to a 78 with am/fm and an 8 track tape player that added AC as well as my heat and I thought I was ballin to have AC.

I just checked cars.com there are a bunch of Bentleys 05-07 at affordable prices with very low miles 30k -60k range. It's very very tempting. We gotta remember these cars are not Toyotas the original wealthy owners had this along with about four other expensive exotic cars. So of course the miles are gonna be low . But for the average Joe this car can doom you. I wouldn't want non dealer mechanics touching this nor do they have the experience. Many of them have hard times dealing with the complexity of a bmw and Benz and those are far more common than a Bentley. Then the insurance must be high too. So the stress to maintain it (properly) and cost to insure is most likely high.My question is how does a dealer sell this Shit? The rich ain't buying a old Bentley . The middle class can't maintain it. the poor can't buy it. This must be a dealers nightmare.

i have the same car, mulliner spec, 2006 except black with cream leather and this review is highly accurate, at least in line with my ownership experience. even the humming, buzzing noise except mine comes from the door panel. A good review, well done.

This bentley is very reliable, just dont go to the Bentley Dealership, find a specialist or exotic car service center and you are good to go. These cars are made to outlast the owner Bentley's back from the early 1900 are still running today on the road, if you can buy one today its a great investment one in prestine condition. People just hate on these because the average person cant afford one, all cars need maintenance even a Toyota Corolla without regular maintenance will be sitting on the side of the road. Yes this automobile will cost more to service of course but, you will stand out from the crowd. Always remember people depreciation is Appreciation, this car is affordable for the working class women or man. If you are a car person 30k is a awesome bargain just get a carfax report, have 10k or more saved for repairs order the parts offline. You save youself $300,000 to $400,000 off the price of a new one. You will laugh all the way to the bank, this can just be a weekend car.

This car is absolutely beautiful. Way better looking than the new ones. However it surprises me that Mercedes was doin ventilated seats in the early 2000s, this Bentley doesn’t have any. I guess it was because they were owned by Audi.

I was thinking about checking out a local Bentley Continental coupe awhile ago, but the dealer told me to wait a little while since he had to fix the power window motor. About one MONTH later, the car was back at the dealer and the price was reduced by several thousand dollars. But the small print stated that the front windshield was cracked and it was being sold as is. Lesson: parts are very expensive and they can take a long time to arrive.

Absolutely beautiful motor but honestly, I would say this is out of range for the average person. Even used, 30K is a boat load of cash to be throwing around. Having that kind of money lying around is practically unheard of unless you have a job that drops you well into the higher earning bracket.
For me personally, it would be the running costs and repairs that puts this vehicle into the 'only in my dreams' bracket.
One of those cars that is fantastic to look at and drool over but that's as far as it goes realistically.

..if youre gonna do it, impressionism, the people who think like that, that youre trying to impress, know which years & lights are old, they'll know youre pretending,
so to fake it 'till you make it..I'd say '08 & up only, & black or dark grey paint hides age, looks more powerful, white looks rich, but reveals age the most.
then get a decent LED headlight conversion...or, '08 & up Maserati GT, tho' doesnt look rich, you'll sound rich w/ Ferrari engine.
otherwise, don't fake it, earn it, lease new, write off as biz exp, repeat, like the pros do.

Everyone quotes Hoovie - but that was a Russian car with over 110,000 miles - do you really think there are a lot of those in the states? As far as maintenance - yes it will be expensive - but was when it was new - a 200K$ cr with 40K miles for 35K $ --seems like a good deal to me!!

Good car for a mechanic too get. Cost of repair would be insanely more cheap . Wholesale prices on parts and you don't get reamed by dealer. Quadrupling the price of the parts and charging you arm and leg for labor.
