Watch updated video for Office 2016/2019: ruclips.net/video/FoVtGmTTVPM/видео.html Now it creates two configuration files: "configuration-Office365-x86" and "configuration-Office365-x64" YOU MUST remove one of them (it doesn't matter which one you chose) and rename it to "configuration" This procedure is for both Office 2019 and Office 2016.
There are two critical points. First one is the path to an Office folder. You have to open that folder or if it's ISO image then open virtual drive and copy the path and paste between quotation marks. And second very important moment is that you have to rename configuration-Office365-x86" and "configuration-Office365-x64 file to configuration. Make sure that your file has extension .xml To make it visible open any folder then click View tab and then check File name extensions checkbox.
I put the ISO file and setup and config files in a new folder at C:\OF2016 when I run the command I get the Message Sorry Couldn't Install error code: 0-1008(0) I modified your file to state: Powershell command is: C:\OF2016>.\setup.exe /configure configuration.xml

It worked fine in my desktop (Windows 7 Pro). But it is not working in my laptop (Windows 10 Pro). I'm getting this message "Office Couldn't install. We're sorry, we can't continue because we weren't able to download a required file. Error Code: 30182-1015(2)" I tried 2 times, both times above message appeared. On 3rd try it installed everything from Office 2016. So I completely uninstalled it and tried again. Now the error message keeps poping up. I tried with Powershell and with Command Prompt. Internet connection is fine. I'm using Ethernet cable, not wifi, just to be on the safe side. What is the problem? What can I do?

Do the Office install files need to be in the same directory as the Office Deployment Tool and the configuration file? This is a lot to follow for a beginner, and it's a bit fast. I'm doing my best.
The location of those files doesn't matter, because at 1:00 you have to enter the location of the Office installation files on your configuration file. I'd recommend following my instructions and do all the job on the desktop so you could se the same process.
I am sorry, but when I click on the configuration links it asks me to go premium in order to get the files, so it looks like a scam as far as I am concerned. Those links aren't working or have been hijacked by third parties in order to get those files I have to register and pay them, so no thanks.

I cant install this because the online installer refuses to DL the files, the offline installer just doesnt care about the config file at all. This is rediculas. In your config file there us a line . If you have 2016 Pro Plus Retail, do you have to change that name or do you keep it with the 0365?
It doesn't matter it will install the Office version that you physically have on your PC.
