As you know Rik I can't have garlic so instead I'll have a well buttered crusty baguette for yumminess and mopping up the sauce 😊
Great idea! Thank you. Best, Rik
Delicious, it's amazing what can be achieved in a slow cooker 😊
Yes, I agree, Neil. One of the best bits of kit in the ordinary home kitchen. Best, Rik

Hello Rik one of my favourite dishes always a winner 🍜👨🍳👨🍳👨🍳
Thank you very much. Best, Rik
Given that my roommate is a 30 year continuous abstainer from alcohol I dont risk using wine or beer or spirits, I plan to use Balsamic vinegar and extra beef stock. .... the closest substitute that I can think of this morning.
That will do just fine. Probably one of the best substitutes there is. Thank you. Best, Rik
Sooo good chef😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼Rik could I use Worcester sauce instead of the oyster sauce, I'm allergic to any kind of crustations☹️
Yes you can! What about soy sauce, better option. Thank you. Best, Rik
Omg❤
Thank you. Best, Rik
I do like your current background, less distracting. Are you in a restaurant?
No. Just another place. Thank you. Best, Rik
I speak English so it's beef burgoonyon :) The French get pissed if you mispronounce their language...but have you ever heard them speak English?...hypocrites. This is basically beef stew with a bunch of wine in it. Because it's French of course it needs a fancy name. Regardless, it's absolutely delicious and worth making. Thanks for the vid Rik.
Agreed. Thank you mate. Best, Rik
Did you turn it on low or high ??
Hi Eddie low 7 hrs. Best, Rik
Je parle français, Rik, et la recette semble très alléchante!
How about a « coque au vin » next?
Meilleurs vœux, mon ami!
Hi Eric - what cut of chicken do you like to use mate?
@@BackyardChef I think thighs are the best for this kind of a recipe Rik.
@@EricAlainDufresne Great job mate thats what I use - I was wondering if you use drumsticks - thighs are my go to!
@@BackyardChef drumsticks would be “ok”, but I don’t think breasts would work at all.
