I hope it’s reciprocal since it seems that the Chinese have no problem visiting SK! (Although the visa application process sounds about standard - our passport power is pretty weak). I do think you might encounter problems uploading there… not been there since 2015.
With my country's passport we can currently go without visa to 189 countries (and of course, with the EU passport there's the right of free movement within the EU, which is convenient). Also since 1st July we can go without visa, for a short term stay (up till 15 days), to China. It was decided after our President visit in Beijing in last month, so in June. So it's possible that more people will be going there in future as tourists.
My mom was few years ago in China, at some conference, but on this occasion she was also doing some sightseeing. And it was funny, because some ordinary Chinese people, families at the streets wanted to take photos with her - it was because she looked different than most of people there, she had light blond hair, was rather pale and also dressed in white (so it was sth extraordinary for them). But I've heard that actually more people had such experiences there, like Chinese people wanting to take photos with them, because of their different looks.
@@SMBiggestFanI'm from Europe. And my mom was there earlier than in 2017. But I watch sometimes also for instance a popular channel of an American RUclipsr "Oriental Pearl" (who was studying in China and now lives in Japan), and by one of her earlier videos she and other people were also commenting about being asked by Chinese people in China to take picture together with them.
We have went to China in April. When we arrived we didn’t know we had to go to a police station to apply for a form to stay at a relatives home. So we went a couple of days late to do this. If we Americans go to visit Korea do we also need to apply for Korea visa?
Canadian passeport, contrary to USA passeport, also has a very strong power, I suppose because we are a very peaceful people, and in many, many countries, we do not even need a visa, but we need a visa to go to China and it costs 132,75 $can
We now can visit China for a short trip without Visa, but only for a period of 15 days. For longer journeys we have to apply for a Visa similar to Korea and it is quite expensive. Have a nice family reunion.
Thanks for your honest comment that I learnt so much about Korea via your videos. As a Chinese living in America, I don't visit China often, although I want to. While I enjoy the food and interesting places, the unfriendliness of the online payment system to foreigners, and the increasing close-mindedness of people due to political reasons are drawbacks.
Now I get it, why by the last video (about North and South Korea) You were quite sensitive about any more political comment. I've read that it's not exactly a good idea, when planning to visit China, to have in one's phone likes and comments in social media that can be regarded as critical towards Chinese system, party, politics, also communism etc.
Hey dude! What kind of car do you drive and what is the general feeling in Korea toward electric vehicles. Hyundai Motor Group is doing amazing things with EVs. I think we all need to switch to EVs very soon. It would be so easy in a small country like Korea with excellent infrastructure, so I am not sure why anyone would buy a new petrol car!
Italy (my country), France, Germany and Spain passports allow to visit 194 countries without any visa. I love the fact South Korea is so similar to the advanced Western countries... so far but at the same time so close.. You are going to China, I am going to South Korea in a few days ❤
My wife said people she knew were robbed in a Chinese restaurant. Her father’s friend was tricked and his wife was abducted in China and never seen again.
@@SMBiggestFanThey officially are not allowed to use it. They have their own, Chinese social media. But it's said that also many use somehow VPN, to be able to reach Western sources as well.
@@SMBiggestFan I've heard in some RUclips videos, when some of them were mentioning about using VPN. But I'm not sure how it really works. For sure, there's is state control over access to such media and censorship, many things are restricted, that's obvious.
안녕하세요 한국안 남자 저의 이름은 미카엘입니다 당신의 한국어 좋아요. My native language is English and I noticed you speak very good English I can't tell how large your vocabulary is, but my vocabulary in Korean is quite small even though I've been covering material for about 3 years. It just takes me anyways, some time to learn the alphabet and of course now I am taking in vocabulary and learning the sentence structure in all of these things is quite a bit of work. But since you are vlogging while you're in Korea, I'm quite interesting to know how Korea is as opposed to the United States or in comparison to. Once you return from China, would you be willing to speak on that subject?
Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your trip to China and with your family.

My father started to work in China since 2022 I think
My wife said people she knew were robbed in a Chinese restaurant.

No way...that is so messed up

I think RUclips is not allowed in China.

How can I get married to an average Korean man? 😂
