You could become athletic-coach in one of Korean professional team (football, baseball, basketball, maybe martial arts etc.). That's much more interesting than fitness-coach because you could improve physical qualities of professional sportsmen, and nowadays that's very important thing in professional sport. Also you could start your blog like professional athletic-coach, give advices, grow your personal brand as coach and earn some money from that too. This way could be interesting, free and widest to increase yourself.

Thank you for sharing your personal life and history-so interesting to hear your thoughts. You seem like a good candidate for sports management on a professional level; pro athletes, office/in house, pro sports equipment, pro sports complexes-something in that line of work. No worries, as long as you and your loved ones are healthy, your health is your wealth! Love your channel AKM!

How about becoming a physical therapist or a sports therapist. It would be a variation on what you do now

    • @chaisepomme4070
      @chaisepomme4070 17 дней назад

Good suggestion. I don’t know for sure but becoming a physical therapist takes another degree. There may be exemptions bc AKM has a fitness degree, but a physiotherapist or rehab tech might be a good next job/career. He could take on private clients or work at a hospital helping patients recovering from stroke, car accidents, etc.

Wishing you all the best in the future but don’t stress about it….everything will work out. I went to college for 4 years and graduated but I don’t use my degree at all😂. I applied for a job and was hired on the spot…I had no background in this field…I didn’t think I was going to last😂 18 years later I’m still working there. I had to take state exam …passed and became a registered sleep technician…I don’t ever see me doing anything else. So I just believe things just work out like it’s supposed to be💜 fighting!!

I went back to school at 34 years of age for x-ray, it was hard, but it worked out and became my career. You will find what feels right for you, you have begun the journey 😀

I think you are on the right path to living a fulfilling life. Here is a quote that might help you in making future decisions “ The true measure of a life is not its length, but it’s depth. Its impact on the world and the love and friendship it had nurtured.” You might not realize it, but I think you have already enriched the lives of so many people, keep the good work.

Sounds like you've been doing a lot of thinking. I good friend once told me, that what ever decision I make, I can always change my mind. And change it again and again. So even if you try something new and when you feel it's not the right thing for you, you can change your mind and do something different. You can always go back to fitness and what you already know. But the good thing about your life is, you have so many options. Just give yourself the courage and permission to try new things. The regret comes when you stop yourself from even trying or giving yourself the opportunity for something new and different. You don't know what you are capable of until you try it. We tend to rise up to the challenge, so don't sell yourself short. Good luck!

So forgive me for suggesting teaching but I think it's a great option. It's something you can do from comfort of your home as I do this to learn Korean or you can teach at corporate offices alot of Korean companies hire English teachers to offer classes to their sales employees this again can be done remotely. Best of luck in your future average man!

I agree with the idea of continuing fitness instruction in your new city for the time being. You have a lot of changes in your life coming up. These are all positive changes, but changes to adapt to and enjoy nonetheless. By continuing a job type that you are familiar with, this will give you time to adapt to other changes and focus on your new home and marriage and then later consider your career. Other ideas may come to you too in this adjustment period. Sometimes gently phasing in changes may be the best way. Wishing you the best.

My advice is to stay in the fitness field at some jobs that peak interest. Don’t take a desk job as I can tell you from experience it will wreck your body. Even if you keep physical fitness personally in your life, it will not be at the same level, and your body will not function as well if you sit at a desk for eight or 10 hours a day.

A total surprise to me. Never thought you'd do anything with sports. I saw you more as an advisor, e.g. for human resources. You are now in a busy time with moving house and upcoming wedding. I would focus on that right now. It's busy enough as it is. Because you have experience in sports, I would look for a similar job in the other city. The money has to come in anyway. Of course, most of the time, a job gets boring. I often tell myself that doing something fun every day, like going to the same amusement park every day, is going to be boring too. That's usually the reality. You can try to make.your work more interesting, for example, doing more coaching on the side. Kind of a life coach or something like that. But in the end you have to discuss it with your girlfriend, maybe she has a good job and you will be at home with the kids? 😅

Horses, lions, tigers, elephants, gorillas, chimpanzees, and all other mammals don't go to gyms yet are incredibly strong. Humans are the ONLY life forms that have gyms to artificially enlarge their muscles. God and nature created these animals with DNA that builds strong muscles for their survival, so they don't need to waste their time at gyms. Humans were created with smaller muscles because we are designed to use tools and invent technology and machines to survive and prosper. For humans, it's all about our brain power. It doesn't take much muscle power to go to the grocery store to feed ourselves. I walk and do non weight bearing exercises to keep my muscles toned and use my time to develop my knowledge and skills to be competitive and win in the marketplace. I use the time spent outside of gyms to learn and develop my businesses.

They say "Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life" .. future well still want to be around fitness and can advance your education, nutrition aka food as medicine.. to chiropractic, physiotherapy to coaching in school. You like your "yard" why not farming like hydroponic to other advanced growing methods... meaning think about what your passions are and careers that support or relate to it.. Don't chase the money which often comes if you follow your talents/interests and see where there may be a need or gap that needs filling. Believe me desk/office work would likely drive your active self nuts. Here its not uncommon to switch up /change careers... I did :)

But other working conditions can be also much important, such as if there's any chance for the work-life balance, if there's no mobbing etc. And for sure one should like, at least to some extent, what he will do everyday, day by day (after all we spend much of our time at work).

Is it customary or your choice? When my husband & I married, I moved to his location because he was more established in his position. I actually got a job in the same company. Not sure how realistic this is if you don’t gave the education or background in a specific area, but if you are good employee, then maybe there is an area you could transition into. Also, because you are bi-lingual, maybe you even speak other languages besides Korean and English, you should consider a role where you can use your language skills. One area would be Logistics/Supply Chain with 0:05 a company like Samsung or CJ. There are other companies too. Good Luck!

You could open your own Gym in the future together with your future wife.
You are still young and can do whatever makes you happy.

A thought. 🤔💭 Since, you already have a health & anatomy background, have you considered a Nationally Certified Professional Massage Therapist for Athletes? It combines Medicine and Sports beautifully, without high tuition or long training. I do not know what your cultural judgements are for this field of work & if it is respected & paid well to support a Marriage. No reply is needed. Just a thought that came to me. 😊 Massage Therapists are respected at dignified Spas & Sports Clubs in America.
