- I left my home in the UK to return to my home in China. I share my journey from Manchester, UK to Nanjing China. I travel with Hainan airlines from Manchester airport to Beijing airport, I then travel by plane from Beijing to Shanghai. I ride the worlds fastest train the Shanghai Maglev and then take the Shanghai metro and finally a high speed train from Shanghai to Nanjing China. I share my journey from the UK to China so you can experience what this journey is like.

Please check out the drone I use in many videos and I highly recommend. I spent a lot of time researching drones and this drone is the best value for money in this price range and is very impressive and fun to fly.

You are so lucky to have two countries to go back and forth!
I wish I could afford to make the trip often 🙂 I couldn’t go at all for 3 1/2 years so it’s really nice to be able to again.

The linear induction motor, the basis of maglev trains, was invented by Professor Eric Laithwaite of Imperial College, London.
That's interesting, it's an incredible invention, thanks John.

What's the cost for a RTN ticket from London direct to Guangzhou?
I'm not sure exactly but I would guess around 600 or 700 pounds would be possible.
That's almost double the cost of a rtn flight from Heathrow, London!

cost?
It cost me about £1000 return for that trip in the middle of summer but prices have come down a lot. It’s possible to get a return from the UK to China for less than £500. I just flew from Nanjing to London for £200 one way with a stop in Shenzhen on the way.
