I feel like the only thing that makes sense to me is if it was true Vrabel was open to other jobs that came available - then it would make sense to part ways with someone who is open to or even prefers to not be there.
Firing Mike Vrabel was the biggest of several big mistakes Titans ownership has made in the last 2 years. It started with trading AJ Brown, their only offensive weapon aside from Henry.

Just like all the prognosticators who have never watched a Titans game or really follow the team. The Titans have looked horrible for 2 years now. The main thing is not just the players it is the plays that were called. 3rd and long what do we do? Screen pass 8 yards short of the marker for 2 years. We never tried to throw past the first down markers. We have had people to catch the ball, superstars no, but this is the NFL our receivers can catch a 15 yard pass. And all the super predictable 1st down runs to Henry. Me and even my wife always knew run run run. Our coaching is straight up trash. Vrabel was going to keep going with the ground and pound philosophy he would not change. Now that we have maybe a future franchise QB we need someone who knows how to develop a QB and develop game plans to our teams strength .
