I just started following you and I really enjoy the fact that you do multiple looks in one video and also do multiple vidoes with the same palette. I recently just purchased the metropolis palette which is my first Natasha palette and can't get enough of your videos. thanks for the inspiration!!!!!
The insert of Maddie at 1:59 was so cute! Every video needs more Maddie. Thank you for doing this video! It's awesome to see you mix and match with newer and older products and brands, it's inspiring and helps to remind us that you can still get excitement out of your existing products.
So friends, in an effort to use the many many palettes I purchased in the fall, I’m trying to work with one palette each work week. I try to do eyeshadow most days for a bit of self care/fun before work, and Metropolis is up next week. Definitely gonna try some of these ❤️
@Britt Brat: I did a no buy last year and I did one palette per week in the order which I purchased them. It took me from January to August to finish! It was a great way to get reacquainted with what I already own and to figure out what I was going to declutter.
You understand color....and not afraid to go for it...all looks turned out beautiful.. this is why i love your videos....truly inspired....the fun of makeup.......❤
I was just thinking about you today wondering when you'd upload another video, and here you are!!!!!! You're content and genuine personality brings me back every single time. You've become my favorite RUclipsr, thank you for always being you.
I appreciate how you talk through the possible combinations...I love the crayons but I normally use them as eyeliners, these are great ideas. I want to play with my makeup!
Hello! Would you mind diving back into the ND gold palette? I love the look of it still, but haven’t been able to splurge on it and I haven’t seen many people talk about it since Biba came out
Yay, so happy to see this re-visit of Metropolis. I especially love the grungy green colors because they're rare in palettes right now. And kudos for sticking with look number three when you could have bailed - sometimes we haven’t got time to start over and sometimes it really isn’t as bad as it might seem; I think this palette offers the diversity of color and warmth/coolness that you can fix something that isn’t going where you might have envisioned at first. And I'd vote for a demo of Mini Glam when you have the time!
angyeliz With hooded eyes you need to create a fake crease of sorts - it doesn’t have to be a harsh cut crease but you do have to take your shadows up above your natural crease!!
Hello Alicia! Keep bringing back all these wonderful palettes, that so many of us have in collections, and create more fresh great looks! So great to continue to get more inspiring looks to try on our own!Thank you! 🤗💗💐💫👍🏼
Love the looks and also REALLY appreciate you revisiting a palette. I get these really expensive palettes and then after the release videos, there are never any new ideas coming out. this is AWESOME!
YoUr skin is FLAWLESS! I freaking love this palette! I really like a "soft" cut crease...So Beautiful! I've got to pick up some of those Linda Hallburg Crayons...I kind of like that they aren't the traditional fat eyeshadow pencils; They give you alot of precision. My favorite technique was the first, and I love that bronze/brown combo at the end. Ooooh! I'm feeling inspired! I'm headed in to shoot a video...With my new holy grail foundation_____ Stay tuned! Loved this video, Alicia! Miss you, friend! 💖
It is just amazing how color can impact the appearance of depth of a person’s features. Your left on the second look really opens your eyes. The cooler side is more sultry and makes your lids look heavier and more “bedroom”. Both are beautiful. New to your channel and love your vibe, especially your humor.
I loved this video and all 4 looks! The last 2 were my favorite 😍. What a great idea to revisit “older’ palettes. I’m sure all of us makeup junkies, me especially, need to stop buying every new palette that comes out and rediscover what we already own!! What I would love to see you do next is a video series with multiple looks from each of Pat’s big Mothership palettes. Everyone just raves over Bronze Ambition, and rightfully so, but it would be nice to see again what the other Mothership palettes can do!! When is the last time you saw someone use palette I or II? Alicia, with your Pat love and knowledge, you are perfect for this!
I started collecting her 5 pan palettes and i`m just oh man, out of words. The olive shade from #9 is just what dreams are made of. Works AMAZING with Wicked Envy. Can`t stop wearing #2, #08 is perfect for smokey eye. The purples from #12 are to die for. I even got the cranberry one, already had the Coral. Man oh man, i`m In LOOOOVE. I would love to see you and your creative mind work with these palettes. You`re the best. P.S. I`m a huge ND fan, i have almost all her palettes. I don`t get along with Metropolis. Too much hard pan on the creamy matte shades. Specially on the left side of the palette. I recently got PM Midnight sun. I gotta say, i love ND metallic way more than PM. But i think i find PM mattes more easy to work with. A little drier in texture. But then again, i only got the midnight sun because i love greens and purples and bronze shades.
I can hear you on Metropolis: I think the teal/navy shades have more of a tendency to hard pan, and with that I have to use a stiffer brush. I love her 5 pans as well, and plan on filming with them! I think ND Metallica have more glide, and are easier to blend. PM’s are almost so creamy, that they latch on to the skin, and you have to use a finger or brush to manipulate them. Interesting you think PM’s mattes is are easier to work with! Many find that they are very rich, and perhaps more intimidating to blend. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Woohoo we got a cut crease 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 It looked so good on your eye. This has inspired me to pick up the pallete. I've only used it once. I would love to see a redo with the sunrise palette. To use my palletes more I'm going to rotate them once a month
I held off getting this palette. It came in the mail yesterday and...OMG. Wow! It is gorgeous. I'm so glad I had seen your earlier Metropolis video and how you can go to any shade and there is a quad with adjacent shades. It took a special kind of genius to arrange this. I did learn new techniques, especially since you use four of the Sonia G Sky Eye Set. I would love to see a revisit of Viseart Grande Pro volume 2. It has some tricky textures, but also some of the most beautiful, unique shadows I've ever seen.
Masterfully done as always Alicia. I did learn how to a cut crease with out having to use concealer as you see done everywhere so thank for this tutorial on how to approach it without using any. I would love to see a tutorial using the Lilia Pallet from Natasha Denona’s collection. I’m a person of color and just love how purple and iliac shadows look on my eyes and if you can pull out one of your Visart pallets that has lots of rose, reds and pinks to create some beautiful looks. I will be keeping my eyes out to look for these type of looks in the future.💕
Alicia, I just love this type of video, it helps me step out of my comfort zone with color, technique and application. I’ve got to dive into this palette more. 😘
Alicia, so damn happy to be a Sub. You are so underrated as a teacher. This was 30 minutes of educational exploration into an exceptional palette. As a beginner I am eternally grateful. With thanks Tassie Joy
I’m so glad that my “fake crease” videos for hooded eyes were helpful for you in doing this! I can hear me thru you in this video! Good job you made me proud you did great with it👏🏻👏🏻
Not to be rude but why doing think she got the idea from you? A lot of people use this sort of fake cut crease technique..if she’d gotten the idea from you I’m sure she would’ve credited you so I kind of doubt she stole your idea lol
Really interesting cut crease technique. 😍 I'm used to the concealer insta style cut crease and I really dig this twist on it. Going above your crease first and the way you outlined. Really neat. Thank you!
Thanks so much for the inspiration! I have this pallet and now I can't wait to play with it again and try new techniques. Wow, and those crayons look so fun!
I love your use of the Linda Halberg pencils. Quite a while ago MELT were selling their eye pencils for $5 each, normally $22 each. Of course I bought all 18 of them, only to find they don’t stay on my waterline. They’re not waterproof enough for my allergy eyes. So I packed them away. You’ve just inspired me to get them out and play with them as bases. Loving these videos where you revisit previously purchased palettes, thank you. 😘
ahhhh I love this video so much!! Similar to your PMG deep dive videos from last year, this just spoke to me like you were sitting with me face to face! I'm determined to crack into this palette and get my brushes and fingers stuck in. Thank you for your creativity and lovely personality!!
Yes!!! So excited for this!! I love this palette but can be a little overwhelmed at times with all the colors and will usually end up doing the same two tried and true looks so definitely very thankful for some inspiration! Thank you for another great video, the looks were beautiful as always!
Thank you so much for a revisit video of this palette. I've never tried using a liner under shadows for a more vibrant base. I'll have to try that out.
Alicia! I don’t usually comment a lot, but I just needed to tell you that you’ve quickly become one of my all time favorite RUclipsrs! You’re so Amazing with your makeup skills! You’re so silly & funny! And Gorgeous 💜😍💜 Thanks for all of your helpful vids!! These looks r Perfection! XO
Another fabulous video Alicia I love how excited you get about using your make up and you always inspire with the way you go for it with colors that I would never think to put together👌🏾👌🏾 once again stellar video love your channel😊😍
I really appreciate you doing this. I have only used this palette twice. I loves ll the looks. Now , if I could get up early enough to do my makeup before work.
Thanks for your shop my stash video. The green eye with the thin line Of yellow was pretty. I’m gonna attempt it tomorrow. Please do some Natasha big 5 pan palette looks for inspiration. I bought 4 during the buy one get one sale. Don’t see anybody using them other than the mini’s. Thank you for your original and genuine love of makeup in these videos.
Beautiful! So nice to watch a true make-up artist at work. And, I enjoy that a true cut crease was done. I don’t have any ND palettes, but I might try recreating these looks with my new Alamar palette?
fabulous looks! love the colour story of this palette and i'm waiting for buying it only because i have no money right now. ahhahah! but it has to be mine one day. thanks Alicia, your amazing!!! sorry for my English, i'm from Italy.
I am living for Look #1. Such an everyday wearable cut crease. Thanks for the inspiration. Might have to invest in some crayons. I'm hoping that the new Fenty pencil liners blend out like that.
@@aliciaarcher So I tried pencils in-store and they are really pigmented and soft. I especially like Purp-a-Trader, Bank Tank and Navy or Die. I'll be doing a blog post in a couple of weeks with my thoughts on these a couple of other releases. Also, Pat's launching some glosses but I'm not sure if I'll be getting those. I did sign up for the early access though...you know, just in case lol.
Susan Mejeh GURL! I tried them as well today and I’m IMPRESSED. My birthday is on Monday, so maybe someone will throw me Sephora money and I’ll pick up a few 🤣 The purple one and olive shades are gorg. The cobalt and white were kind of chalky, though.
@@aliciaarcher That's exactly how I felt about the cobalt one. I was actually comparing the cobalt one to the Shiseido InkArtist pencil in Gojo Blue that I own and I felt that it just wasn't as vibrant in comparison. Also, if you haven't tried the Shiseido InkArtist pencils, you might want to check those out! Also HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!
I love my metropolis palette 💕 I’m going to buy the new mini glam one this week it’s only arrived in Australia this week. Also loving the liners you are using. It’s awesome when you zoom in so close, your eyebrows are so expressive they make me laugh 😆
Thanks for the awesome, helpful video, Alicia! This is the video I never knew I needed! Lol. The looks are beautiful and I can’t wait to try them out! 😍
if you love the linda crayons, you should try the lancôme le stylo waterproof pencils omg i am in LOVE with them. i use them with almost every look i do, i pretty much have them all except a couple and oh do i regret not picking up the grey/fumee one before january 😩
Thanks for this video and your other Metropolis video. I've had this palette for several months and have really been baffled with it. Your explanation of the layout has really helped. My only issue is that overall, it's just too dark for me. I always feel that I have to bring in some lighter mattes to make it work. But hey, that's not a crime. Thanks again.
It was fun to see how the colors look on you and how you apply them. Found it relaxing :3 thanks! Palette wise, I'm not interested in it, not only because of the luxury price, but because my lids are not taught anymore so I prefer traditional powder formulas. I imagine I'd have to buff those cream to Mattes, like you did here, and that's no bueno on loose or creepy skin. The shadows I use take me no time to apply and blend because, well, they are powdery! Looks gorgeous on you though
Thank you, Liz! I appreciate that, and thought of actually 🤓 Trying to mix it up, but know that cut creases aren’t for everyone technique wise. What are your current powder matte favs?
I love how different your content is. I don't know if that is the popular approach and greatest for gaining new subscribers, but I enjoy watching and listening to you very much. I am sure that your personality will attract anyone who watches any video of yours. I would love to see your channel grow huge this year, you definitely deserve it, probably more than anyone I watch. ... Love youuu ♥
✨✨😭✨✨ Thank you so much! I appreciate your insights, and I definitely want to create content that’s valuable. If that means slower growth, then I’ll take it because that means better staying power long term 💪🏽🙌🏽 Thank you for your support!!! 🤗
I hope so too. Ms Kinkysweat is an imaginative soul when it comes to colour. She could do some contracting work for Adobe 😂😂. And I’m serious on both counts.
Would love to see you do the Star palette, I struggle w the same few looks but love it and want to use it more. Also ABH palettes especially Riviera (I never use).
The zoom in music has sounded so familiar for months but I couldn’t place it. Last week I finally figured it out - a local car dealership uses it in their commercials that I hear almost every morning when I watch the news 🤣 this fact just makes me love and enjoy the zoom in even more
I didn’t love the color story of the Metropolis palette enough to get during the holiday sales, but I wouldn’t be mad if I got it in my Beautylish Lucky box.
Thank you so much for this!!! I got the pallet and I’ve been dying to play with it more but I keep gravitating to the same “safe” stuff, you’ve totally inspired me Have you ever done a brush video I would love to know what you consider like the must haves or top like 10’s? Ohh I would love to see a Star pallet 👀
I'm so sad!! I ordered this palette immediately upon it's release but it was missing a shade when it was delivered and idk why but instead of having another sent, I got a refund and now I'm really regretting that decision!! These looks are stunning and you're truly inspiring!!❤
I just started following you and I really enjoy the fact that you do multiple looks in one video and also do multiple vidoes with the same palette. I recently just purchased the metropolis palette which is my first Natasha palette and can't get enough of your videos. thanks for the inspiration!!!!!
Straight up, Alicia is the best! When I first found her, I wicked binged on Alllllll her vids. Welcome to the community. She's awesome!
Thank you so much, Amber! I really appreciate that! I’m happy you find those helpful!
Awww thank you!!! ✨✨🥰✨✨
Welcome Amber!!!!! Alicia is going to become you absolute FAVORITE!!!!! And we are an AWESOME crowd here, you're going to have a blast!!!
The insert of Maddie at 1:59 was so cute! Every video needs more Maddie. Thank you for doing this video! It's awesome to see you mix and match with newer and older products and brands, it's inspiring and helps to remind us that you can still get excitement out of your existing products.

Ooooo then what do we get on the weekend!?!? 😎
kinkysweat Sweatpants and lip balm 😂😂😂
catoushki It’s really forcing me to step out of my comfort zone and try new shade combinations. You should definitely try it!
Bahahahahha! That and fuzzy socks! 🤪
Thank you, Carolyn!!! 🥰
I appreciate the use of an existing palette. Do more of these. Esp with pat McGrath and ND!
You got it!
I was just thinking about you today wondering when you'd upload another video, and here you are!!!!!! You're content and genuine personality brings me back every single time. You've become my favorite RUclipsr, thank you for always being you.
Thank you so much that, Jessica!!!
I appreciate how you talk through the possible combinations...I love the crayons but I normally use them as eyeliners, these are great ideas. I want to play with my makeup!
Let’s do it!!! ✨✨🤓
I can watch you use this palette all day! I love these colors this is such an exciting palette! Let’s play with ABH x Jackie Aina next!
Sounds like a plan! I think I would love to play with Sydney Grace’s Autumn Reign
kinkysweat Ooh I don’t have any Sydney Grace but I’ll play along with whatever you do next!!
Hello! Would you mind diving back into the ND gold palette? I love the look of it still, but haven’t been able to splurge on it and I haven’t seen many people talk about it since Biba came out
You got it!!!
Agreed!! I would love to see you dive into the ND gold palette again!
Yes I love the gold palette! Idk why, but I did not like Biba and returned it. Still my favorite ND palette. New insight would be great.
The warm reddish eye is JAW dropping beautiful- Alicia your skills are amazing.
Thank you so much, Leona!!!
You have perfect shape eyes! Honestly you could walk around with two different eye looks and still look fantastic! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💚
So true her eyes are just GORGEOUS aren't they?!
Ohhh so happy you did more looks with this palette. I have hooded eyes so the first look wouldn’t work for me but it looks so fun on you!
angyeliz With hooded eyes you need to create a fake crease of sorts - it doesn’t have to be a harsh cut crease but you do have to take your shadows up above your natural crease!!
I love the fact that you’re sharing your authentic, experimenting. It’s quite refreshing for those of us who are not comfortable using these palettes
Thank you, Tonya! I appreciate that feedback 💕🥰
I luv that you brought ND out again and did something fresh. Please do more like this.
You got it 💕🙌🏽
Yes Back to basics good ol shadows we have !! I love that you show looks with what you have !!
Hello Alicia! Keep bringing back all these wonderful palettes, that so many of us have in collections, and create more fresh great looks! So great to continue to get more inspiring looks to try on our own!Thank you! 🤗💗💐💫👍🏼
You are my FAVORITE makeup RUclipsr! 💕 You always come through.
✨✨🙈✨✨ Thank you, Tanya!!!
Loved this video, Alicia! Miss you, friend! 💖
I'm here for ALL the metropolis looks! Keep them coming please!
I love this pallet more looks would be wonderful
Sounds like a plan!
It is just amazing how color can impact the appearance of depth of a person’s features. Your left on the second look really opens your eyes. Yes! I noticed that as well, and definitely learn more from experimenting! Thank you so much for watching!
Yes...shop your stash! Love this palette ❤ The turquoise look was my fav💋
Thank you, DeLynne!! 😘
I loved this video and all 4 looks! The last 2 were my favorite 😍. What a great idea to revisit “older’ palettes. I’m sure all of us makeup junkies, me especially, need to stop buying every new palette that comes out and rediscover what we already own!!

For sure! I need to go back to my older three look videos I did with Pat so I don’t repeat myself 🙈🥴
I started collecting her 5 pan palettes and i`m just oh man, out of words. The olive shade from #9 is just what dreams are made of. Works AMAZING with Wicked Envy. Oh wow Alicia, thank you for those brown and orange looks I will be able to replicate them for everyday looks. Love you and Metropolis 💋 💋 💋
Yay metropolis palette again! I find it pairs well with all the SafiyaXColourpop lipsticks . Would be a fun video!
Good one!!! Definitely would’ve paired the green look with Brucie!

Love this video. Really love the metropolis palette, and using it with the Linda H. Crayons! 😊
Hardest work brush on the internet: the mini booster. So versatile. Great looks!
Right!? That mini boosts alright! 🤣
Love the turquoise cut crease !
Alicia, I just love this type of video, it helps me step out of my comfort zone with color, technique and application. I’ve got to dive into this palette more. 😘
Beautiful looks. I especially like the first eye look with the teal color.
Finally ordered the metropolis palette today. I’m so excited to get it. Beautiful looks as always ❤️
Alicia, so damn happy to be a Sub. You are so underrated as a teacher. This was 30 minutes of educational exploration into an exceptional palette. As a beginner I am eternally grateful. With thanks Tassie Joy
Thank you so much for that!!! It means a ton for you to say to share this feedback, as I’m always looking to improve and add value to my content. 🥰🥰
@@aliciaarcher Your very sweet to reply to me. Thank you X
Yes! Thank you for showing Metropolis again. I like it but have trouble putting looks together.
I hope this helps! Thank you for watching 🤗
Love that you revisted a palette instead of something new! Would love to see you revisit ND Sunrise plzzzzzzz!

Whoop whoop! Thank you for watching, Heidi!
Whoop whoop! Thank you for watching, Heidi!
Beautiful! So nice to watch a true make-up artist at work. And, I enjoy that a true cut crease was done. I don’t have any ND palettes, but I might try recreating these looks with my new Alamar palette?
Oooooo yes! Go for it!!
fabulous looks! love the colour story of this palette and i'm waiting for buying it only because i have no money right now. ahhahah! but it has to be mine one day. thanks Alicia, your amazing!!! sorry for my English, i'm from Italy.

Thank you, Susan! I saw them and an interesting. Perhaps I’ll give em’ shot, and try them in store.
I keep eyeing this palette. It's calling to me for reals
That green look is 🔥
Thank you, Lori! 🥰
Stunningly stunning
I love my metropolis palette 💕 I’m going to buy the new mini glam one this week it’s only arrived in Australia this week. Also loving the liners you are using. It’s awesome when you zoom in so close, your eyebrows are so expressive they make me laugh 😆
Hehehehehe! Thank you, Felicity!
Thanks for the awesome, helpful video, Alicia! This is the video I never knew I needed! Lol. The looks are beautiful and I can’t wait to try them out! 😍
Thank you, Molly Jane!!! Definitely keep me updated 🥰
Hey gurl 🥰 wow I'm so proud of you giving the cut crease a go 🤩 I love watching your videos. Thanks Alicia ❤
Thank you, Roberta! I was surprised at myself! 🤣
Love the looks you created here because of you... Hmm bought this palette would love for you to revisit the biba and Lila
I've been wanting those liners! Glad to know they're Alicia approved :)
Yes! I think you would like them! Hopefully another sale will come up 😆
if you love the linda crayons, you should try the lancôme le stylo waterproof pencils omg i am in LOVE with them. i use them with almost every look i do, i pretty much have them all except a couple and oh do i regret not picking up the grey/fumee one before january 😩
Ooooo will check those out for sure!
I love videos like this, more of these videos please!
Got two of the crayons because of you. Will try your technique using them as a base for similar eyeshadow shade. Thanks for the tip.
Thank you for watching, Caroline! ✨
Also, it is not fair how every eyeshadow look is amazing on you :-)
✨✨😭✨✨ Thank you so much! I appreciate your insights, and I definitely want to create content that’s valuable. If that means slower growth, then I’ll take it because that means better staying power long term 💪🏽🙌🏽 Thank you for your support!!! 🤗
💕💕🙈💕💕 Thank you!

Loved this video & was hoping you would revisit the metropolis palette!!! 💗💗💗
Thank you, Karen!!!
I finally picked up this palette... not in love witth it. Hoping to recreate some of these looks and see if I can get it to work.
Hey Alicia gorgeous palette
That last green look really came together. I might try it tomorrow and bring some green into my life as everything is just frozen
Yes, recreate the forest and perhaps that would summon some warmth 🥴
I WANTED and needed more inspiration for this palette!! Thank you thank you!!!! The 4th look was my favorite!!!
Hooray! Thank you, Paola!!!
You are absolutely amazing. I learn a lot from your tutorials. Thank you!!!
Thank you so much, Jane!!!
I love this pallet 😍one of my favorites great Video
Thank you so much for this!!! I got the pallet and I’ve been dying to play with it more but I keep gravitating to the same “safe” stuff, you’ve totally inspired me
Have you ever done a brush video I would love to know what you consider like the must haves or top like 10’s?
Ohh I would love to see a Star pallet 👀
Thank you for watching! I recently did a best brushes of 2019, and my top 5 last year. And I can definitely dive back into Star!
I'm so sad!! I ordered this palette immediately upon it's release but it was missing a shade when it was delivered and idk why but instead of having another sent, I got a refund and now I'm really regretting that decision!! These looks are stunning and you're truly inspiring!!❤
Oh no!!! I’m sorry to hear that! I know it’s limited, but I have a feeling it will be around for a while if you change your mind 😉
Just curious maybe some new looks with the ND Gold WITH the gold mini ?
I have that palette and it’s one of my favorites. I love all the looks you’ve done with it!!!
Thank you so much, Tammy! 🤗
Well isn’t this wonderful just what I needed inspiration yessss dive again ! You are sooooooooo talented
