Enables Slap Stick Shifting. The B&M Hammer Console Ratchet Shifter is perfect for 1994 to 2004 Mustangs with an automatic transmission. Utilizing a full ratchet action, this kit will allow you to manually shift the forward gears for a more fun and engaging drive, with the option of leaving the shifter in D or drive for normal day to day driving. This B&M Hammer Console Ratchet Shifter offers the convenience of a normal automatic while allowing you to row the gears manually for a sportier driving experience. The kit has a reverse lockout feature that prevents you from accidentally shifting to R or reverse and includes the famous aluminium T-handle for easy slap-stick shifting.
Complete Shifter Package. The B&M Hammer Ratchet Shifter comes complete with the shifter mechanism, lighted gear indicator, neutral safety switch, backup light switch, leather shift boot, and the highly-polished aluminum B&M T-handle shift knob. Essentially, everything you need is incorporated into one nice package and is ready to drop into any 1994-2004 automatic Mustang.
No Modifications Required. The B&M Hammer Console Ratchet Shifter will easily bolt on the factory AODE transmission on the 1994 to 2004 Mustang with no complicated modifications required. You will need to connect the LED lighting and overdrive button to the factory wiring with a soldering gun to complete the install. Apart from that, everything else is simply a bolt-on affair.
