Fun fact: if you hold the + paddle while in sport & paddle mode on the transmission, it'll revert back to automatic so you don't have to switch into D then back to S if you're done using the paddles 👍🏼
Another fun fact, if you are in sport on the transmission and have paddle shifters engaged say you hit a stop light, you can shift up to second from a FULL STOP and it will take off in second giving you a but more boost, also good if youre just driving around a mall parking lot or stores, not too loud but can be revved if you wanna show off some lmao
Yeah that’s a good point. Some boosted cars actually have a tune to launch on 2nd gear to avoid wheel spin with so much power lol. Corsa is too loud so maybe I gotta try it out to not be too obnoxious
One thing you forgot to mention is that if you put the transmission in sport mode and then use the paddles they lock in manual mode, but you can put it back in auto mode by pulling and holding both paddles for a few seconds.
@@Red5ohyou said the response for the paddle shifters are so quick. But mine are the opposite. It takes like an entire second to shift when I click it.
If you pick "S" on your transmission lever, car downshifts for you when coming to lights. You stop and you are on 1st gear. If light turn green, you move the car. So if you forget to paddle shift gear, Stang stays at 1st gear on redline or just upshift gear to 2nd and so on?
If the paddles are activated and you’re in S mode then it won’t shift after you accelerate from the light. It would hit the rev limiter in 1st gear. However if the paddles aren’t activated and you’re in S mode then it would shift automatically for you 1-2-3-4 etc.
What rpm do you usually downshift at for second to first when coming to a stop light. I have had my eco boost for about a month now and I can nail my other shifts but second to first is giving me a good jerk. Also nice gt!
Yeah 2nd to 1st can be jerky. I actually just let it downshift for me. When you’re coming to a stop even in full manual mode the car will do drop gears for you automatically so 2-1 is done by the car

Great video! So I have a bit of a problem, my 2021 mustang gt 5.0 PP1 only gets like 225 miles on a full tank of 93 gas. Lately, a full tank is only giving me 190 miles. I saw that I had 14mpg when I think it’s supposed to be like 21mpg or so. I have an automatic transmission. Lastly, since the car is 16 gallons, how come when I’m filling it up at the gas station it only filled up to 10 gallons? I usually fill when I’m around 50 miles to empty.
How are your driving habits? If you drive aggressively I can see those kind of numbers. When I fill up around 10 miles to E I get out a mount 14 gallons so 10 gallons isn’t too far off for 50 miles to E especially if. You get 14 mpg or so

It would depend on the specific situation. Good thing is that if it’s too low the car shift so you won’t mess up anything
