@ I got mine on Amazon. Its does a host of cool things aside from the trans relearn. Tons of good videos on the tube :-)

I have a feeling Ford might drop in hybrid V8 for the refresh model. Especially with AWD it would be insanely fast

@@Red5oh I thought an I4 hybrid might be easier to offer because they already offer that in the Escape and Maverick so they don’t have to develop something new. But of course, we would have to wait and see what Ford will offer. As long as everything traditional is kept available, that being a naturally-aspirated V8 and RWD, then new non-traditional features such as a hybrid and AWD can be added.

Yeah it’s mostly software issues with 10 speed and typically a reset fixes it. Even a tune didn’t completely solve the jerkiness

Lol that would be great so learning module is actually smarter. I think 2024 and up they’ve gotten a bit smoother

I’ve heard you can pause with ForScan but I haven’t tried it myself

Lol my mpg is surprisingly good. I average around 20-21 mpg. I do get on it here and there. The lowest I have seen was 250

Yeah I would take it to the dealership since it’s still under warranty. Most likely you just need a software reset to fix the problems. I have had it done twice and it’s fixed whatever issue I was experiencing with the 10 speed

If it’s still under warranty then I’d ask the dealer to check for software update. It will be free and most likely fix it

Yeah the tuning on ford 10 speed is not the best. Your car is smoother than mine but still not perfect. I wish ford would give us a good tune. Yeah trying to see if it’s worth going this Saturday with temps being so low since traction will be an issue

A software update or reset can fix that. You’re out of warranty so they charge you most likely. Worth asking your local ford dealer

You would have to stay in the car. It does resume wherever it left off so you never lose the progress of the update

Yeah manual and V8 is definitely sought after combination. I hope Ford continues to offer it as there is a market for it especially for muscle cars

@@andrescarrasco4608 that’s normal for our cars. It goes 1>3>5>6-10. My GT did the same until I got it tuned now it goes 1>2>3 and so forth. Ford factory tune does it to save on gas

@@Red5oh but before touching the shift paddles I didn't do that, I set it by accident and now every time I turn it on it says active accessory mode and before I didn't get that, and keep in mind that when I'm walking it goes in 6th gear and goes up to 7th gear and I keep accelerating and I should go up to 8th gear but it goes down to 6th gear just as I was driving it by mistake when I had the paddles active, I don't know if I can explain myself.

I turn it on and drive it and it drives as if I had it in manual mode, it no longer drives normally from speed 1 to 10 consecutively.

Yeah he really enjoyed driving my car! It’s easy to say not much improvement has been done from s550 to s650 as an s550 owner but it’s nice to see little improvements on s650 as he pointed out. I’d probably still keep the s550 unless a good deal pops up

I technically have three S550's. Our son is driving the Base 2015 EcoBoost, but it's still ours. Next came the '19 GT Convertible, obviously there are major differences, then went to trade the '15 in on a '19 Premium EcoBoost, they offered next to nothing for the '15 so we still have it. Even though the two '19's are different cars, they have a lot of similarities. 401a and 201a packages, but still little differences, and obviously big differences. While I like the S650's, I love the S550's. Maybe because that's what I have, and drive. I still love to drive the '15 even. Really don't see many S650's around here. Our local dealer, only had three total all year and one was a special order. maybe some day I'll look at a S650.

Yes it would fit without changing the suspension. You can up 305 in rear comfortable and 285 in front. You could do 285 all around square set up like mine or 305 in rear and 285 in front. I have a video on square vs staggered set up that explains this in detail

Yeah I’m learning so much more about drag strip as I get more seat time. I’ll do e85 next. I have one more run next week then will see where I am with the car. May need drag radials to properly put the power down

Thank you! Yes tire is definitely what’s holding me back. Even on a good summer tire I could do low 12s. Drag radial will definitely help
