I keep thinking about the grown up boy who self-mutilated himself screaming when the two detectives went to ask if he remembers anything else thinking he’s freaked out by the detective who interviewed him as a boy, when really he’s terrified of the other detective in the background. I mean every victim’s nightmare about them coming back. 😢
yeah, it sad one thing i noticed is that the detectives go out to interview both boys but only end up finding tommy they don't mention or show if they tried to track down alec they didn't visit his family or try to find him i thought that was odd untill the twist!
These movie reactions are some of, if not my favorite kind of videos from you guys, not only do I sorta get to get caught up with movies if I haven't seen them (like this one), I also get to watch your reactions to them with me. It's personally not as fun to watch new movies alone.
damn. i remember this movie so well. i don’t even know any other peoples opinions but i do remember that i was with my parents and we were just looking for a casual movie to watch and stumbled on this one. it was a surprise and i really enjoyed this.
i just finished watching this by myself, and let me say… as a professional horror movie cinema buff, i like to predict the whodunit, why-dunit, and how-dunit every step of the way. and usually my predictions are right but this movie bro… kept me guessing and leaving me shocked and WOW how powerful of storytelling… you never would have thought the house intruders would be the ones you were cheering for in the end. amazing twist ending.
It's funny, because the central plot of the film is actually really simple, but the audience is misdirected because we're being fed the plot backwards. If the film had instead started with Alec's point of view, it would have been a pretty straightforward film about a traumatised survivor seeking revenge against a killer. But instead we start with no POV at all (which is why the film intially feels as though there is some spectral presence viewing everything without proper focus), then we get the POV of the first character (who knows the least about what is really going on), before moving on to the next POV, and the next, with each successive character possessing a little more knowledge about what is going on than the last, until we finally get the POV of the one character who knows the full picture (Alec). It's a fun exercise in perspective, and it's a cool way to turn a pretty simple idea into a complete maze of a movie.
I’m so glad to see this movie finally getting some love. I had never heard of it and ended up watching it last year when it was streaming somewhere and was really impressed with it.
I remember seeing this about 2 yrs ago and absolutely loved it. I've been following Owen Teague's work since. Even though I have issues with The Stand show I felt he was amazing. I hope he has more great roles yet to come.
what's cool is going back, and watching him fuck with the dude the same way he did his targets; like locking him in the closet and having him cry out to be let out, just like the kids do in his rv trailer in the woods..
This was a great plot twist. I just wish we could’ve heard what the killer went through when he said “when I was a little boy” like was he a victim of almost being kidnapped?
My mom and I don't really agree on movies to watch. We picked this one on a whim tonight, and we were hooked. I loved the cinematography. The ominous synth soundtrack playing most of the time, keeping you on edge. The plot twisting like a Möbius strip. I went in expecting a weird B-movie, and left pleasantly surprised.
If y'all need a recommendation for a new TV series to watch, I totally recommend 'Yellowjackets', it's sooooo good, season 1 has 10 eps and season 2 just premiered last sunday, I know you're gonna like it
Dudes I just saw this movie yesterday, I went in with some what low expectation and was blown out of the water! Didn’t expect the movie to me that good.
I didn't watch the video yet but I am really glad you're doing a reaction to this movie, especially since you seem to be the only people reacting to this really underrated movie. I remember a few years ago I tried to get people that I know to watch this movie, and only one of them watched it. I tell them(because they already seen The Perfection) that if they like The Perfection then they really should check out I See You because it does the same type of suspense from that type of movie.
Reminds me of parts of Rosemarys Baby, where, unknown to the viewer, the neighbors were in the apartment the entire time, which you find out later, very creepy.
i think Helen's character was looking at the back of the vehicle at the end cause she thinks they've been caught for murdering that dude and burying his body..idk if she has been told her husband was a serial killer at the point cause she's looking the trunk like wow maybe they know we put a body back there
so when Alec tell Mindy the guy dropped his phone the logic is he went out to window jumped grabbed the phone and somehow got back on the roof or just used the front door lol.
I watched your reaction, I don't have much to say about it. Even though you did some jokes I'm at least glad you still understood the whole story. I don't really mind the camera shots. I actually paid to watch it online back in December 2019, and thought it was really really good. Sometime in 2020 it was put on Amazon prime and I know I have a friend that has that and I told him to watch it, but also had to tell me "no it's not that movie it's just a coincidence both movies have the same title' for some reason amazon had 2 movies with the same title and I had to tell my friend it's the one with Helen Hunt in it. He thought it was good but he didn't think it was mind blowing like I thought it was.
This is the first time lol I’ve known a movie before you guys knew I movie I seen this a while ago but back then when I read it I thought it was like actually a monster movie so that’s why I watched it and then I watched a was so amazed I didn’t know what to do with myself after lol
Impressive, clever take on the psych thriller. It's hard to come up with fresh ideas. Solid B+ grade. A couple of plot coincidences and an unresolved ending keep it from an A.
I really don’t think he knew he was the serial killer that he met as a boy till the girl was in the trunk and he pulled off his mask. She never told him about the boys he knew cause he once was one of those boys. 29:55
i juts saw this on Netflix and liked it i liked the first half better than the 2nd half, id rather having it being a serial killer messing with them instead of one squatter messing with them, i really did like and feel bad, the girl even though what she did was wrong, she wasn't there to hurt anybody like alec was and if she had left she would still be alive!
i really hope the films get a sequel i feel for everybody except the dad lol helen hunts character is trying to make amends and to come home to this literally lol.
You guys should react to The Rental (2020) starring Jeremy Allen White, Dan Stevens etc (and just learning that it was directed by Dave Franco). It's pretty good!
I give this movie a 7 I don't give it I don't give it a 9 because they killed the woman. why did she have to die, woman had like 9 lives. she survived the woods, bag over head, thrown down stairs she could have survived a gunshot. hated they killed her. I liked her 😭. aside from that good movie I guess. 🤷♂️
So Greg and John have you guys seen spirits before??? Cause man me and my whole family has through our lives my sis sees more then I did at her age but none the less it’s an interesting subject because then changing the atmosphere is ridiculous in it’s self and movies are right the presence makes you feel like your closed in a box and it’s becoming more and more closed in
If you wanna see a movie that really keeps you guessing, please watch Lost Highway!!!! It's directed by David Lynch and stars Bill Pullman and Balthazar Getty. It's awesome!
I know Blind Wave watches alot of movies for their channel like you guys, and I absolutely love Blind Wave, but their's just something so freaking appealing to watch you guys more. That's just my opinion though.
Blind Wave cuts out like 3/4s of the movie it seems like while these guys leave 3/4. So it’s more fun to watch and easier to follow. A lot of good reaction channels have to do with how they’re edited.
I just watched this the other day and I thought it was new but kept getting that Deja Vu feeling and then it got to the part where the kids are in the wall / attic space and I said hold up. Looked it up and said " oh F***", it was THAT freaky movie " yes really weird twists not that I'm complaining. Just odd and honestly I didn't care for Helen Hunts character at all but she did great in playing the annoying cheating wife. Anyway love u you guys when you pick random, odd movies to watch. 💖✌️🎬

stop putting spoilers in your thumbnails you dicks

This movie is so underrated I remember watching it with my twin sister and we were shocked by the twists the way it unravels is crazy.
Agreed. This movie always is in my top 10 favorite horror movies.
The consistent twists in this movie are so good! It's been out for a little while, so I'm happy more people are watching it
The ending scene always gives me chills.
20:14 “he doesn’t deserve to die” oooh
This is an undiscovered gem! Hope it gets more recognition.
Well it’s not really undiscovered as it’s #1 watched on Netflix right now lol that’s how I ended up watching it last night
These movie reactions are some of, if not my favorite kind of videos from you guys, not only do I sorta get to get caught up with movies if I haven't seen them (like this one), I also get to watch your reactions to them with me. It's personally not as fun to watch new movies alone.

No matter if a movie is good or bad, watching it with you two makes it so much better

Such an underrated movie, my best friend told me about the movie and I was hooked with the twists
I’m so glad to see this movie finally getting some love. I had never heard of it and ended up watching it last year when it was streaming somewhere and was really impressed with it.
Y’all have no idea how happy you make me when you watch movies I love😂
I remember seeing this about 2 yrs ago and absolutely loved it. I've been following Owen Teague's work since. Even though I have issues with The Stand show I felt he was amazing. I hope he has more great roles yet to come.
An underrated gem. I just wish Helen Hunt's "face" was not so distracting😂
Bro what in the world. I just watched this for the first time and couldn’t find reactions for it. What r the odds y’all do this 😂❤ LETS GO
So I watched this movie just 2 days ago with my family, I didn’t get if it was a ghost doing everything but the plot twist was even better 😂😂😳
what's cool is going back, and watching him fuck with the dude the same way he did his targets; like locking him in the closet and having him cry out to be let out, just like the kids do in his rv trailer in the woods..
Pretty much he escaped it sounds like
I always love the commentary from you guys on these watch-alongs. This movie was extra twisty! Wax well done
So happy you’re doing this one. I expected it to suck. But I ended up loving it. So many twists. Who is good and bad. It’s a mind fiuiuk
Watched this movie about 2 years ago because of my love for Helen Hunt, and I was pleasantly surprised
This was a great plot twist. I just wish we could’ve heard what the killer went through when he said “when I was a little boy” like was he a victim of almost being kidnapped?
Or he escaped or he sexually assaulted him
My mom and I don't really agree on movies to watch. We picked this one on a whim tonight, and we were hooked. I loved the cinematography. The ominous synth soundtrack playing most of the time, keeping you on edge. The plot twisting like a Möbius strip. I went in expecting a weird B-movie, and left pleasantly surprised.
8:08 The fact that it actually was unresolved trauma and john guessed correctly 😂
John and/or Greg movie reactions are my absolute favorite content on this channel. You guys do a great job!
I don’t think I’ve ever switched allegiance so fast in a movie before lol
If y'all need a recommendation for a new TV series to watch, I totally recommend 'Yellowjackets', it's sooooo good, season 1 has 10 eps and season 2 just premiered last sunday, I know you're gonna like it
This movie looks interesting, I actually haven’t seen this movie before
Dudes I just saw this movie yesterday, I went in with some what low expectation and was blown out of the water! Didn’t expect the movie to me that good.
“Opposite “not quite Dennis Quade “” 😂😂 gold
I didn't watch the video yet but I am really glad you're doing a reaction to this movie, especially since you seem to be the only people reacting to this really underrated movie. 20:10 THE IRONY LOL
Love the guests, but nothing beats a Greg and John classic
Watched and it is super underrated! I got goosebumps throughout the movie. So surprised u guys are covering this! ❤
My mom and I watched this together and we were both on the edge of our seats the whole times and coming up with the most crackhead theories 😂
I loved the surprising twists
I just watched this movie a few years ago on Prime. It was good. Nice to see that it’s trending on Netflix, somehow
This was surprisingly good
Dude I just watched it and holy bro I’m speechless
Oh I just watched this! Interested to hear what you guys think of it!
So Greg was the bad guy all along 👀 hahha
Wow Great movie surprise ending I really liked the main guy, I guess that’s why he got away so long “likeable guy”
Haha I actually just put this movie on my watch list the other day, can't wait to tune in!
Helen Hunt turns to the son and says, “Oh I’m the asshole?”
Reminds me of parts of Rosemarys Baby, where, unknown to the viewer, the neighbors were in the apartment the entire time, which you find out later, very creepy.
10 ⭐️. Love this movie
Love it u chose this little sleeper of a movie, great twist
i think Helen's character was looking at the back of the vehicle at the end cause she thinks they've been caught for murdering that dude and burying his body..idk if she has been told her husband was a serial killer at the point cause she's looking the trunk like wow maybe they know we put a body back there
🎥 Rejects, if you haven't seen "IT FOLLOWS", please do. That's another story-driven movie that'll keep you on the edge of your seat and guessing!
so when Alec tell Mindy the guy dropped his phone the logic is he went out to window jumped grabbed the phone and somehow got back on the roof or just used the front door lol.
Yeah I was just scrolling through Netflix and saw this so I’d thought I’d check it out
I see you too
I watched your reaction, I don't have much to say about it. Even though you did some jokes I'm at least glad you still understood the whole story. I don't really mind the camera shots. Yeah, I can see The Collector comparison
This is the first time lol I’ve known a movie before you guys knew I movie I seen this a while ago but back then when I read it I thought it was like actually a monster movie so that’s why I watched it and then I watched a was so amazed I didn’t know what to do with myself after lol
This movie is such a gem
Secret in Their Eyes is good watch as well.
I saw thus like a year ago on Amazon. Really good
I enjoyed every bit of this movie so many twists to it and very edgy I think it's worth watching.
Impressive, clever take on the psych thriller. It's hard to come up with fresh ideas. Solid B+ grade. A couple of plot coincidences and an unresolved ending keep it from an A.
I just watched this today. omg
Keep up the good work. God bless you all.
The fact that he was joking but was actually right 😂 8:07
just finish watching
I really don’t think he knew he was the serial killer that he met as a boy till the girl was in the trunk and he pulled off his mask. She never told him about the boys he knew cause he once was one of those boys. 29:55
I loved this movie!

Another good movie to check out is “He’s out there!”
Can anyone tell me what’s the song playing from the disk player it’s so good
i really hope the films get a sequel i feel for everybody except the dad lol helen hunts character is trying to make amends and to come home to this literally lol.
Y’all should watch the empty man. Has a similar vibe
You guys should react to The Rental (2020) starring Jeremy Allen White, Dan Stevens etc (and just learning that it was directed by Dave Franco). It's pretty good!
I 2nd this
Awesome
Hi! not related to this movie, but are guys gonna do a Scream 6 reaction? ive been looking forward to what you think of the latest installment.
I really didn't like this movie when I first wacthed it with my parents (who hated it), but it was fun rewatching with you!
Ah i remember now, i've seen this movie
I give this movie a 7 I don't give it I don't give it a 9 because they killed the woman. why did she have to die, woman had like 9 lives. she survived the woods, bag over head, thrown down stairs she could have survived a gunshot. hated they killed her. I liked her 😭. aside from that good movie I guess. 🤷♂️
Lets go🔥👌🏼😀
yoooo i love this movie finally someone watching
This kinda felt like a less good version of Prisoners
I heard this movie from TikTok
So Greg and John have you guys seen spirits before??? Such a dreamlike escape. I love it
@@wiiplaya25 "We've met before, haven't we?" One of the most unsettling scenes in Lynchs career
iam with Mindy if i was squadding which i would never do i would stay upstairs hidden!
30:33 Grogu zoom
if i was mindy i would have took the car and went somewhere safe and called the cop not go in the trailer not knowing where the killer is at!
I just watched this the other day and I thought it was new but kept getting that Deja Vu feeling and then it got to the part where the kids are in the wall / attic space and I said hold up. Really enjoyed the movie
This movie was so good
You guys should react to the movie megan is missing another creepy found footage movie with a crazy ending
Completely off topic, but are you guys going to react to season 3 of Superman and Lois?
This movie is great just watch it
You know what you don’t see, the amount of people asking for your reactions to Superman and Lois!
Was it just me or did they filter Helen Hunts face at weird times in this movie.
can you react to guillermo del toros pinnochio??
You should watch skinamarink.
