I love the new background set up, it looks great. Also, this movie did an amazing job at making you feel like the characters in it with all the anxiety of getting caught. That’s how you do it! Not many horror/thrillers are able to execute it so well.

Even though he said he told the woman he'd set her free after 9 months, he had a corpse disposal hatch built under the floor & was clearly prepared to neutralize the decomp/smell with whatever that goop he covered the body with. No way he was actually going to let her go.
@@アキコ2003 No, she took reckless actions and that resulted in her unintentionally killing someone. That doesn't justify her being intentionally kidnapped, tortured for 9 months, then intentionally murdered. If he just wanted to kill her without the rest of that, I'd be a lot more sympathetic.
Roxy's predictions are (somewhat) on point. Also, with Andrew being a little more introverted than the likes of Greg and John, she organically takes the lead here, and it's great. The "Get Out" back and forth was also precious. Just some random, disparate thoughts on my part. Happy New Year and continued success and bliss to the lot of you!
These two's dynamic is insane 😂 Don't Breathe is insane. I remember my sister making me watch this for the first time after Orphan I was sweating the whole time and contemplating whether to root for the thieves 😂

With the body situation, Money's body is pressed up between a table and the washing machine. Alex bumped into the washing machine causing it to fall so Stephen Lang's character had no idea
Stephen Lang can do no wrong. It’s why James Cameron has said he loved working with him so much on the first Avatar that he reworked the story so that he could bring him back for the sequels.
One of the greatest horror/drama movies of all time. The theater experience was so unsettling, cringe, dark, thought provoking & very intense. I was hyperventilating the whole movie

Honestly, when Rocky escape and called the police, that's where the movie should've ended imo. That whole news of the Blind Man recovering at the end of the movie with Rocky watching it at the train station should've been cut just to avoid any tease for a sequel. And it turned out that the sequel was unnecessary to begin with which shows that this incredible movie only worked as a stand alone. Just leave the Blind Man dead and let Rocky live in peace after that. The ending felt like the second or third alternate ending from the Blu Ray that has been cut from the original release when that should've been cut when it played in theaters as the original release instead
I went to see this in theaters with my sister when we found out about the girl in the basement and why the whole theater was shocked and ever since then I never went to a movie with my sister blind ever again
I let my 19 year old son pick out the movie months ago, and he picked the new Jennifer Lawrence comedy. I'm sitting between my daughter (13) and mother when full-frontal JLaw fight scene starts. Yeah, longest 2 hours+ of my life. I had NO CLUE what it was even about, and my mom sat through it cuz she didn't want anyone seeing her if she got up to leave. My son's movie picking days are OVER😂😂😂

This movie surprised me when I saw it. Which I did not see it in theaters and I really wished I had. The twist upon twist surprised me because, for me, the fact that he is so good at being blind (which sounds weird but just go with it because I have a migraine and my brain isn't braining) and then what is in his basement is insane. I have not watched the second movie and I will not because they tried to make him some sort of anti-hero. And absolutely not. I don't know why anybody thought that was a good idea. And let me just say I love how "purge" has become a permanent thing.
Just letting you know Rocky and Diddy do leave for LA. Rocky, while traumatized does let it go and rightfully because it’s not worth it going back. Plus Norman doesn’t mention a third intruder so she’s basically off the hook. While you can see this as just set up for a sequel (don’t watch it) it’s just a mostly happy ending.
You Roxy tells Andrew he " Looked Liked A Little Bitch" .. That barking dog jump scare spooked LOTS Of People. Then she realized was going to be played back and only felt bad when Andrew Mentioned Jump Scare..Then the "my bitch" scene in the movie. Andrew is a nice easy going guy, he will take her side and defend her though.. She spent rest of reaction trying be overly nice to him.. What a "Little Bitch" Move...

Yes it was Money's body that he stabbed with the hedge cutters. It's possible that the other guy (forgot his name) moved at the last second and therefore the weapon ended up in Money's body instead. I'm not sure if the old guy was aware of that body being there, but he probably didn't take the time to check because he knew there was a third person and was in a hurry to find them, and after he stabbed the guy there was no more noise or anyone trying to fight back, so he probably assumed he was dead when he actually had just fainted.
I wanna more movies like this ,where someone who seems helpless at the start ,but turns out to be a master killer who uses his /her own wits ,not creepy masks or stuff like that. Plus Hope there will be a 3rd sequel ,maybe one about him or his later adopted daughter ,Phoenix.

If it's a suburb show it's suburgatory. If it's a Halloween movie, it's fun size. The great thing about this movie is that no one is good, and not one is bad, only that everyone suffered. And consequences are fair😊 Now you both could proceed to the sequel. It’s as good as the first one.
Someone as cautious as Alex THINKS he is would not carry a cell phone on a score nor allow anyone else in the crew to carry one. Months or even years later GPS data can show that your phones were in that house. And sending an incriminating text right after someone gets killed on a job? These people need to go back to burglary school.

It is true that blind people have heightened senses of smell and sound. Some can even pick up on vibrations and use eco location to know where they are👍🏼
There is something disconcerting about a pretty bulky kinda ripped dude in their sixties. That’s a different kinda strength. This dude has likely had to push a car off his leg when the jack fell as he was changing a tire once. He’s installed a garage door opener all by himself. He went exploring once in an abandoned mine with a friend when he was in his early 20’s and he’s the only one that made it out alive. Decisions had to be made, and he ended up on the living side of it. If he’s Australian, he’s been in a minimum of 7-12 fist fights with huge jacked kangaroos and won all but one. That’s where the scar on his stomach and chest came from. My point is he’s got experience that has added to his collective old guy strength.
I watched a movie similar to this on Dateline. Teens breaking into houses and the owner sets them up and lures them back to his house and kills them. He was convicted because they say it was premeditated. Is this justice?

I saw this several times and never made the connection this terrifying guy was the wimp "Ike" in Tombstone. Definitely an amazing actor.
