Didn’t have the greatest voice work of all time, but god I think AC1 still has the best writing. Wish it would get a remake with the same script, but updated missions and open world. Maybe something Unity inspired.

King Richard the Lion heart was one of my favourite military heroes of history he beaten prince Saladin and won the kingdom of Cyprus as his reward prize of winning that tough indeed either if it was tragic he didn’t have enough resources to rule Jerusalem at least he won an big island as a noble prize indeed!

I give credit to Saladin After he faced Reynolds and Guys (Idiots who wanted to rule crusaders after Baldwin death ) he still remain his character which is give something to worthy enemy
Did you know he even gave horse to the his majesty king Richard when he fell down from his horse
And of course sent foods fruit with physician when Richard got sick

@@henrygreen9157 that’s disputed and not true at that point in history. A possible risk? Yes, but the only main assassin we know to have lost their finger due to use was Bayek, who lost his on accident in a botched but ultimately successful assassination.
Since he lost his on accident, it became a Hidden Ones tradition to prove their loyalty and fealty to the cause, which later transferred to the Order of Assassins through tradition.

@@ATFprdepartment Exactly. Just like the Order of Ancients became Templars by adopting traditional rites and customs, the Hidden Ones adopted many traditions while becoming a Brotherhood. Altair saw many of those excessive traditions undone during his menthorship. The sacrifice of the ring finger, lifted the prohibition to use poison. Also he made the Brotherhood abandon castles such as Masyaf, because they have became a symbol of hubris, and left them exposed, so he counciled as per the Creed states to hide in plain sight, to work amongst the people they protect, hidden amongst the crowds, in the cities. Altair's time saw a rebirth of the Brotherhood.

@@ATFprdepartment Well this is half true. The hidden blade gradually became longer and thinner than the Hidden Ones' original. Also, in comparison to the later Altair redesign, the blade's construction was much more primitive in the times of the Levantine Assassins, so the finger physically needed to be removed for the blade to work. Giovanni's hidden blade didn't risk the loss of the finger, but it was much more conspicuous.

@@ATFprdepartment There's nothing to dispute. These assassins shown are fictional, so is the hidden blade as shown in this series. Which means the writers decide what is correct and true.
And they decided that before the blade was improved later in the series the ring finger had to be removed to use the hidden blade effectively.
