I bought an Incred-I-Box. I would prefer less windows. Especially, since it's near where my head would be while sleeping. Helpful to keep cooler when hot out and warmer in the winter.
I like the idea of no window on the end wall of the Incredibox. Bill and Carmen were so sweet to think of Ace, but please don't give him any more chocolate. It contains a chemical called theobromine as well as caffeine. A dog's system cannot process chocolate quickly and toxins build up and cause illness or death. I lost a lovely poodle to chocolate toxicity.
They do sell ice cream at the grocery store made just for dog’s.It’s called FROSTY PAWS.So much more safer and healthier for Ace.Ace is such a sweet dog! I don’t want to see him getting sick off of all that sugar and chocolate from human deserts.
Two windows seem enough in a a bedroom that isn’t really that big. You two do a great job addressing all the questions and furthermore, considering some creative changes to the layout. Love watching you guys😍
Just a suggestion, build your tool shed over by the Post office, if you use some sort of key fob or security card, for both buildings you would be able to keep track of who uses the buildings! They should not be open to the public, mostly for safety!
I love learning and listening to all the questions. You guys know this is my dream to live with everyone on ith village. I live in hud housing in Rhode Island not the safest. But my rent is 175.00 plus my electric cable ect. I live on 1100.00 a month. How I wish the good lord would bless me with a miracle. I hear ya! Oregon has become a lot like CA now, and the politics are horrible. They stomp all over our constitutional rights all the time, and we now have some of the highest taxes in the nation. I am leaving for the free state of Tennesse, going to sell my house and get an ITH Park Model to live in on the Mountain, or in Buffalo Creek. Can't wait!!

Hey Randy n Amanda, I was thinking on the 12x20 maxi-box you could move the kitchen counter down to the far wall and put the washer/drier and fridge off of the bathroom side by side as it would reduce the wiring needed vs having them at each end of the kitchen and I think it would look more appealing. Karen Morris, you could write them and ask if they can delete that particular window or not cut it out of the end wall for incred-i-box #34. It would be a little less work for them as they don't have to cut out the window space and install a window.

I love your Wednesday Q&A. I’m always interested to see where you’ll be next. I don’t want to be a Debby Downer but… just an FYI… chocolate is toxic to dogs. She mentioned that onions (all types, scallions, shallots, etc), macadamia nuts, grapes, raisins and chocolate are all toxic to dogs. She also mentioned that any seeds in watermelon, apples, and pits in peaches and cherries (and any other fruits with pits) are also toxic. The fruit of the peach/cherry isn’t toxic to them, but the pits and seeds are. I would imagine it’s always best to get a list from your own vet but… also best to be safe and stay away from things that can make them sick
Re: The window being removed. I would keep the window ( maybe placed a tiny bit higher ) and Have two pictures ( or shutters, etc ) slide together and hide the window. Would satisfy more people. Idea for the bed area in the 12x20. A 3 panel divider. You could even attach it to the wall like Carmen did her bathroom "door". That way you can have a feeling of separation between rooms, then if you have guests over you could slide it toward the wall and open it up.
Yay for no window on the back wall of the incredibOx. I always like to have one accent wall to decorate to put my daybed against. I thought there was no changes, so I was literally going to cover that wall with sheet plywood so I could decorate the wall without the window. This is my dream. I retired early at 62 recently for health reasons. I was a NC Licensed Barber. Would like to move there in a few years and when you develop a area for people to show off their different skills like a crafts, etc, I would like to barber (for free) a few days a week for the residents there. My way of giving to this community. That’s my dream one day. Love all you guys do and bless all you give.

I like the look of the three large windows because it does give a more open look by seeing the outside but practically I have to agree that you need a full wall in the back. Bed, Murphy bed, bookcase etc could use the space better. A lot of the other tiny home companies (ya the ones we don't talk about! 😂) Do have windows up high. Maybe two small windows horizontal would give the lighting and air flow need but give more room for furniture. THANKS AGAIN for reading my question. ❤️

Just a thought 🤔 you might want to consider putting in cement patios as an option instead of decking because of the high lumber prices. The cement contractors now have different colors and textures available that even look just like stone! Gorgeous!
Just throwing an idea out there. I have a extension bar. Curtain rod and put it above the kitchen sink From cabinet to cabinet and use light weight S hooks to hang kitchen utensils from then. It’s not only convenient but saves you space as you aren’t using up drawer space.

YES! If he puts hopper windows in there, you can open and close them with a mop handle that has a hook screwed into the end of it.

They are Bill & Carmen. All the ITH homes have an outside water spigot Except for the 8 x 16 Incred-i-boxes.

Just a thought 🤔 you might want to consider putting in cement patios
as an option instead of decking because of the high lumber prices. The cement contractors now have different colors and textures available that even look just like stone! Gorgeous!
Just throwing an idea out there. I have a extension bar. Curtain rod and put it above the kitchen sink From cabinet to cabinet and use light weight S hooks to hang kitchen utensils from then. It’s not only convenient but saves you space as you aren’t using up drawer space.

You have to have places for THINGS not just windows, so is that end wall tall enough that a hopper window could be above a Murphy bed? I personally would NOT have the end wall window. 🙂
I really think the two remaining living room windows, plus the other two, gives more than plenty of air flow in such a tiny space.
The best bamboo to have is the black bamboo it is slow growing and does not send spurs underneath and spread madly.
