Given the opportunity I'd love to live in an Amish Community. The all white inside home and huge bedroom looks great. The joining of the Fire Association is such a great idea. Those young men were constantly nailing.
The only thing I don’t like about the Birmingham is a second person can hear everything going on in the bathroom 😮
I'm going to build a custom door up there, that I can pull closed when guests come over, to solve that problem.
I love the house but I'm definitely not a fan of the open ceiling bathroom. What goes on in that room should stay in that room..lol Glass block wall(s)or bathroom ceiling would work for me letting in the light but keeping privacy in the bathroom especially when you have guests. You guys are so thoughtful for thinking ahead of the curve in regards to fire and safety for everyone. God Bless you all.

The one thing I would like changed is the bathroom. Can it be completely closed, if a customer prefers? The pantry idea will be a great addition.

I LOVE the white interior! It makes it look so much bigger. I also love the pantry idea. You could put a Randy Rack in it. Also, an outlet would be great. You can charge your vacuum or plug in your coffee maker and keep it off the counter.

This is the first all white interior Birmingham I've seen! Wow! The split closet /pantry is a GREAT idea! So is the closet above the WH in the bedroom! When I get mine, I'll add half height riser boxes on one side of the stairs, so it's Jefferson stairs, and I can climb them with my bad knees. 👍
This is truly craftsmanship!… I’m from a family of hand carpenters/craftsman and this makes my heart happy

It would be good if you could show more of East Tennessee what things are close to your property i.e grocery stores. Medical services in your area.✌️❤️🙏🙏
They have videos of downtown Newport, the park along the river there, & the Community Center on this channel. They also have a video of downtown Morristown (old town).
You can easily search questions like that to see what services/businesses are available in the area. Also, you may not be aware of all you can see on google maps. Just put their address in, and choose satellite view, then put the little yellow man down on the road and have a virtual drive around the town. Businesses are marked on the map.

I'd love to see ITH offer an 8' x 20' RJO special! The extra 4' in the living room would better accommodate a twin bed & recliner. I'd also like to see the interior bathroom wall be made with tongue & groove wood. The RJO is such a cool, functional, cost effective home!
Where the pantry will go, did you think about putting it on wheels so in case of the shower needing fixed you can pull out the pantry and get to the shower pipes. I love this home, love watching y'all!

Love the idea about making the bathroom cutout into 2 pantries (1 bathroom and 1 kitchen). Would like to keep the ceiling over the bathroom cutout so I could put a large piece of decor on there. So u could see the decor in the livingroom.
Beautiful home! I dream of having a home like this in Buffalo Creek for a 2nd home but at a 13 hour drive will never happen. My wife not willing to move away from the children and grandchildren.
So glad you did a video of your Amish builders. Love the vanity in the bathroom. I don't know if taking the ceiling out above shower is a good idea. Would that cause issues with moisture??
These homes have an air exchanger & of course, bathroom fans to elevate moisture from bathing ... 🛁
One could, of course, procure a small dehumidifier for the bathroom if you found it to be necessary ... 🤔

I love this home!!! The all white is perfect. I like the pantry idea very much - but would not want to lose the ceiling over the pantry and shower. Also I would just leave the wall space above the water heater alone. Great home!

Yes, I totally agree on all changes except I'd leave the ceiling in over the shower. That's a dandy storage spot for a big box of off-season clothes. (A very important need!)

Letting natural light in the shower will make it so much better. Also I like the changes to make way for a pantry and a little closet. I would so so buy this home right now. QUESTION: Randy mentioned removing the ceiling in the shower to let more light in. Could the top portion of the bathroom wall be removed to? It would showcase the upper windows really well if you did 😉. But perhaps it's a load bearing wall??? I love what you guys do!
Agree...remove any walls or ceilings not necessary for privacy and keep a post or two for load bearing support.

Smart changes for bathroom shower and pantry shelving. GEProfile washer/ dryer combo are ventless and standard electrical and one unit ( no stack ) allowing for shelving and or cabinet above it.

Randy the changes you are making are spot on! I absolutely would take the ceiling out of bathroom over the shower & turning half that bath closet into a pantry is GREAT! A pantry is needed! That is a gorgeous home! I believe it's my favorite!!! ❤❤❤
I like the idea of an open ceiling in the shower. It would open up the space and prevent any moisture issues. Win win....and the space will feel larger.

If you still want it closed to keep the moisture from causing mold issues I would actually put like a maybe at tempered glass or like plexiglass so you can get the light but you still have the protection of keeping the moisture in

Great idea! They make plexiglass domes for above showers that turn the steam into droplets that just roll down the shower walls. Great for small homes!
@@susanbeals7597 yeah that way you get the effect of the light coming into the shower which would be awesome from the cupola but also you don't lose the protection because what if that moisture gets into that closet because it being open like for example what if you're storing like flour or ingredients like that that it's not necessarily in one of those glass mason jars you can actually ruin that stuff and right now every penny counts especially when it comes to food items
Keep the longer counter for more prep space. Put the fridge under the counter. I bet the homeowner will like it better once they are living in it. ❤️

The Amish have pride in their built homes and anyone would be excited to buy a home Amish people made the bayview window makes you have more access to do other things in that room I would put a cushion on it with big size pillows and it would be used as a couch and a bed for company ❤😊😅❤🎉
