I LOVE this layout. Love L shaped kitchens and the big bath gives you room to get dressed. Perfect really. Whoever designed this really thought it out.
I wish we could clone sweet Randy. I would order a Randy. lol. Amanda you're a blessed lady. Love you both!!! If you aren't a couple you should be. And if you are a couple, I think you compliment each other fabulously.
This home is lovely. I like that the stairs are at the end of the house and the bathroom has a bathtub. All of your homes are so beautiful and I love watching all of your videos. If I had the money, I would buy one of your tiny homes in a heartbeat because I love the fact that you are making affordable housing for everyone and not jacking up the prices to ridiculous high amounts, just to make extra profits like some of these other companies are doing.
Yeah, I would buy that house or my friend would but where can we put it on the property? We both are ready to start the process of having a home built but we want to live at ith!!
I love the layout inside this one. Where the stairs and kitchen In located gives this little house separate sections which give it a bigger more livable floor plan. Love ❤️ it! xo
How could you not love it?😊 I really love those four windows on the stairs!! Wood is so gorgeous...would not mind caring for wood. Blessings to the new owners!!❣🤗
I really like this floor plan... with a few modifications. I'd definitely do the catwalk that Amanda suggested, add grab bars in the stairwell, and remove the two opposing windows in the little flex room next to the bath. I'd use that back room for laundry and closet and add another hinge door there. Nine feet wide makes a big difference. Really nice layout.
You could cut out an opening in the treads on the bottom 3 or 4 stairs, attach a piano hinge underneath, and have storage there for shoes, boots, pantry items, etc. 2nd loft is great space for a child to sleep. Kids love ladders!
Alternatively, install a door hatch on the exterior to access that under stair space for long term storage... Or, for people going off-grid, it's a good place to put the batteries, solar power system and potable water tank... Or, you can turn the top standing platform into a hatch. So you can climb down and use the space as as safe room you can quickly get to if you hear someone trying to break into the home and can be a personal armory... Lots of possibilities if you let your imagination go wild...
Ugh! I love you guys!!! You just made me laugh for the first time all day! I absolutely LOVE THAT HOUSE! I if it was about 10 or 15 years from now I'd be all over it. I've been obsessed with tiny homes close to a year now. But....life. but if we're all here in 15 years I'm going to be living there. This is my biggest retirement goal. Y'all are hilarious, can't wait to meet you both! ❤️❤️❤️
Man, I would kill ( well, not kill but you know what I mean) for a house like this. It’s gorgeous and just the right size for a 65 year old who wants to retire in the woods!
I love this one, it's beautiful! I would sleep upstairs, put a cat walk across and let the doggos sleep in the other loft (with the cat). The wood makes it so warm and inviting. I love your videos! :-)
Gorgeous! I love all the bedroom windows! The morning sun would wake me up and I'd be over my insomnia in a week. Amanda do you realize that bedroom is about the size of your special room in the Augusta? That could become the l aundry room, storage, etc. Although I'd use it for my sewing room. Now Amanda if it doesn't sell, you can take it home. Just remember you're storing it for me. 😄😆
The little room at the bottom could be so many things. A guest room, an office, a nice closet, a craft room, a reading/library room…so many things 😊 I love all the mini to this home. A mini fridge, a mini kitchen, a mini living space. I think a love seat is perfect or two comfy chairs. ❤🛋
I really like this layout. It's different yet very functional. I would put drawers in the steps. It would give a ton of needed storage space. Great job!
Its so pretty. That's what I was thinking. I have been watching tiny house nation, getting ideas for my 12x20 interior. I'm so grateful. Extremely excited. This is the best season of my life.
That back room I would make an enclosed porch to drink my coffee in the morning. And in the winter on the west side, it would be warm with no heat. I would love that.
Nicely built home. I like the wood, gives it a cabin feel. Also, the stairs in the back are nice. I would love them to have storage space though. The fridge for me is a perfect size. For the storage space underneath the cooktop, I would place a washer/dryer combo. The space beside the door will be perfect for a small sofa bed while the space opposite it will have a slim top-to-ceiling pull-out pantry, then a small round table with two chairs that will double as eating and working space and the far curved corner will be for the TV. Coming into the bathroom, a little space above the sink could be for a small closet while the space at the end will be perfect for a sofa bed that can convert into bunk beds including storage underneath.
First, I LOVE that Randy's houses feature the 7 1/2" stair risers. No other tiny homes I've seen do that, and that's a deal-breaker for me. Second, I would DEFINITELY have had as many as possible of the stairs hinged. (I could live without much furniture, but I'd need as much storage as possible for small stuff I regularly use....sewing, vitamins, office supplies, toiletries. Otherwise, this layout is ideal. I'd put a futon sofa in the downstairs back room and a twin or full upstairs for cozy reading or sleeping, so you'd have choices! Also, love the combo tub/shower and that it has a tub ledge big enough to sit on...sometimes necessary. Great unit!!
I would add a net between the two loft areas. That way you could crawl across the net to get to the second loft (rather than using the ladder) but the mini split air would still be able to circulate through it and you could see through it from the room below. Also the nets are fun to lay on etc. X
The one drawback I'm seeing is the low ledge on the upper loft area. Would be so easy to slip and fall with nothing to stop you . For an older person not as steady on their feet or young kids who don't always watch their steps I think some type of protection would be a good idea.
I LOVE the gaps in the wood floors. Let’s you know it’s real wood!!! When I got new engineered hardwoods in my home, I insisted on a floor with bevels between each piece of wood!!! What’s wrong with people who don’t like that? 😂😂
😂😂 Oh my goodness gracious when he slammed that door!!! I nearly fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard . Thank you for this great tour of a design that's not only unique it is well crafted.
Loved the house, very beautiful. Good luck on the sale of it, sounds like a great price. Loved the stairs at one end of the home, nice size bathroom. Loved the video, you and Amanda are hilarious 😂 have a great weekend 😀

After hearing the account of the jerk that refused to pay them the $ 6,000 that he owed them! I wouldn't blame them for not wanting to rent to own. I would want to get my money first before I ever put it on the property.
Randy you are funny as hell.!!!😂😂😂😂😂 Also, Amanda you are always saying you will put the houses on your Property. Are you trying to start your own Tiny House Community?🤔
Great Model ...This is a great one Randy & Amanda!!! I like the stairs at the back and the bottom bedroom with the lofts. I would buy this as a model ...it would be awseome to have it a bit longer to increase the back bedroom and add a stackable and place to put a larger fridge. I'd also add the fold out counter next to the sink for a bit more cooking room. Love it!!!
Randy, you are right about these becoming collectors' items. Wood stick-built? Have to do those ourselves now. And the lumber trusts have no limits on what they want to charge. If it were legal to have one, I'd buy any you got and put them on my land.
I have seen net And I think that would be pretty cool to take this house over my other house that I’m having built I remember going to the woman’s thing and seeing this house and loving the stairs in the back you guys doing an awesome job creating homes
@Karen Poulter, why don't you call the office and check to see if you can purchase this one. If I remember correctly, this has happened in the past. I don't know if you purchased a model or not, but you won't know if you can switch if you don't check. Yes, I like the idea of Removing the Ceiling Fan and connecting both lofts.
An outside access door to the storage space under the stairs, would give you a nice ‘garage/shed’ storage area.
