I would say that more older people have been purchasing these homes, and along with that comes changes in their health and medical circumstances. This may mean that they have to live closer to their families or into a home where they can use an assistive device.
@@jeannerountree952 I'd say that you're right about that. People don't realize how quickly poor health can sneak up on you and family - I've been through it. Everybody is in good health until they aren't. I'll get slammed for saying this, but I think that everyone, but especially older folks, should think carefully before making a $15,000 or #30,000 key payment, as you may not be around to amortize it.
Its really not odd when seniors are deciding that they are no longer able to move around in and out of the tiny home or some of the seniors had a smaller home waiting for the mountain to be ready and waiting for a larger home to be built.

The electricity is on because the ceiling fan was on, plus the refrigerator lit up when you opened the doors 😁

the fridge in my opinion is in the wrong placement or just too big for a tiny home. if I was set on having the giant fridge, if it would fit, I'd take out the cabinets to the left of the kitchen window and put it there, then maybe have a little island
Gorgeous. Love the kitchen with full size appliances and the cabinet colors are beautiful. Two windows over the sink would have been wonderful.

Nice layout. I really like that the washer/dryer is not in the main area, as so many are. Also, beautiful wood floors, and kitchen area. I too, would get rid of that huge fridge. I cook all my meals, but I'm pretty minimalist about it.

I would put my clothes in the bathroom, closet on the left a dresser under the window and then another closet on the right, this is enough space for a couple and some doggies to live in. If I had the money now I'd buy it!!

The comment about how this works for elderly is important also for us disabled folks who right now could use the loft but will eventually have to main floor live.

Ppl think hard before you purchase one of these homes they are not for ppl that’s elderly..It take someone very young to climb around in the top of them lofts ..There is no storage also for much of anything
I am elderly and disabled. I bought the home. My adjustable twin, will be in that bonus room. The other side will have built ins, with hanging clothes, and tall storage, and in the middle, a computer desk. It will be just fine for me. Bathroom nearby, with a folding door for privacy. Upper cabinets, in the kitchen. Dishwasher next to the stove. I have plans!!! The loft will be storage.
I have seen much bigger tiny homes with nice closet space for waaay cheaper like for $20,000.00 dollars. Downstairs bedroom and a loft with storage in the stairs. The loft had some height to it also.
I think this house was featured before. The guy was going back to AZ. It did not have window covering when I saw it before. I do like the kitchen.

I would definitely do smaller refrigerator we have a 28 inch wide one in our tiny home does well the area opposite of washer and dryer I would have full of pantry supplies I’d have that full 🤣🤣

This is the best model Randy ever created. The kitchen in the front with WINDOWS! Wow! This is the perfect model. Personally, I'd need only one door and a bit smaller fridge. And the Luanne model has the stairs on the back of the house, with a small closet at the base. That was the perfect model. I wonder why Randy doesn't make more of them? The front kitchen/stairs in the back design was the single best design on the internet! I wonder what it would cost?

I would not need the 2nd door and could go with alittle bit smaller of a refrigerator, the profile of refrigerator is too overwhelming for the space, but still nice.

I think this home is perfect for the price and where they have the little open space for abed could have a trundle bed it could be used for living room and double as a bedroom as well and they could mount a television onthe wall so all the kitchen could be used for a kitchen then you could put an armoire and a table and chairs how cool as that would be and the loft could be a second bedroom and the smaller loft storage space the people who designed that house with all those large appliances were smart especially because the washer and dryer so large enough to do all your bedding and towels and linens and the sink and toilet are perfect because you can put a cabinet underneath the sink and there was plenty of wall space to add you’re own cabinet or shelves ❤❤who ever is lucky 🍀 enough to buy this house is blessed by god it has all the right amenities and great living space because of the design this was really a awesome 👏 thank you 🙏 so much for sharing this amazing opportunity with us ❤🙏❤️👍😇👏👼✡️✝️🥰🇺🇸🇮🇱😀🧙♀️🧚🏻♂️🎃🍾🎉

The living room area is small and there's no place for a TV. I'd put in a bigger bathroom sink too. Those tiny ones make no sense, and this bathroom has plenty of room - too much room actually, considering the size of the living room.

211 Jack Pone Way lot is empty as I just moved away, unless of course, someone was lucky enough to get that lot as it has an actual grass yard. Nice home and reasonably priced. Congratulations to whoever buys it.

It's too bad the "bonus room" doesn't have a window. I think I would take out the barn door to open up the space on the main floor. The bathroom looks small and no privacy with just a curtain, but I guess would be fine if you're the only person living there.

I would expand the bathroom a little into the laundry room so I can have a big walk in shower and a nice bathtub. Bigger vanity too. Close off one of the front doors. And take down the sliding barn doors. Make it more like the louanne model.

I'm going to be honest...a man had a lot of planning when this house was built. It's a TINY house! That refrigerator and large black stove needs to go. The 2 exterior doors take away much of the needed wall space of the living room, bad planning. Black is not a great color to use when you want to create openness in small space. That bathroom??? Again, useless space. No one is going to place a bed that close to a open toilet. The shiplap walls have not been done correctly, the lines in the corners don't match up which would drive some people crazy. I remember seeing the owner show this house months ago and I see it's still for sale. Maybe he should have someone stage it. Yes, he's asking a low price but there are a lot of changes that need to be made to this house!! Sorry I'm just being honest!!

Really good feedback. Thanks for posting. I had the same thoughts. I was wondering why it still hasn't sold after all of these months. I think if they had done the same layout as the lovely louanne (luanne?), then the house would've sold by now. Hers is the same size but she maximized space and doesn't have two entrance doors.
@@ollieados I agree with you. I remember the owner trying to sell it back when he was offered a new job and saying you could use that large bathroom as an office or place a daybed for a guest?? Can you imagine a guest sleeping and having someone having to relieve themself in the middle of the night UGH!! Luanne's house would sell within a day. Again, because a woman designed it.
I would take the barn doors off the wall they are on, and put them on the bathroom wall to close the bathroom off for privacy. Also, I think the idea of a small, cozy daybed is great... Also agree with losing that huge fridge and put a small fridge under a counter along the wall for eating... I like the idea of opening up under the stairs for storage, maybe a hanging rack, and shelves...
@@gypsygirl1485 Yes. The good news is it just sold to a woman who saw it on this channel. I'm glad it wasn't overpriced for her. The unfortunate thing, if I may say, is that she is disabled and will put her bed near the toilet in that space. I hope the shower works out for her. I would have a tub put in or ADA compliant shower in that space and a decent sink and vanity. Then a daybed in the living area. Not sure how she will maneuver the loft if she's disabled. I'd love to interview people who have sold their tiny homes across the nation and find out what if anything they would do differently.
