Nice home! Major respect for the Owner of this property regarding lot price and the fact that the home actually has a nice yard. So many of the tiny home properties are cramming the houses in tight basically like an RV park and I find that to be a shame. All about the money for most of them but whoever owns this property is developing it in a tasteful manner with the homeowner in mind! Very good to see!!
It's also a gated community. No drive-by gawker's looking at you like you're a zoo animal living in a tiny house (like some other places I have experienced). With it being gated, only those whom live there have access. Security 👍
All the added amenities are in the description when you click on the "more" underneath the video. She has added ALOT of extras to this along the way, just like one would do with a regular house. It takes a different kind of mind set to live in a tiny house. If ya' don't want to be bogged down by a large house and a bunch of un-used rooms, then tiny living is for you. Some people can't do it, but many can with no problems. I live in a 9×20 myself, and added a large deck. I'm an outside person mostly, so living small works great for me. I don't think she'll have any problem selling this considering all you have to do is basically move in and possibly make some changes esthetically, if that's their thing. And the view overlooking the mountais and the lake is absolutely beautiful 👍
I love the bathroom! There's room in that closet to have an upper & a lower hanging rod! Great to have a sink in there, and I like how much more accessible the W/D is in the kitchen.
Please go back and do a walk around of the lot and deck. It’s a major selling point without enough attention. I do love your videos and appreciate what you do!
I can’t help but wonder, does crawling into and out of bed become, “ I’m done with this” issue. Sleeping on the floor isn’t the biggest issue, but crawling around becomes a bigger issue. The total lack of “ where am I going to put just everyday things. So you have 3 pair of underwear, 2 pants and 2 shirts. What about winter things? More than one pair of shoes. Do you need to food shop 2-3 times a week? This is cozy yes, but way small at the same time.

I’m just saying that you need to shrink your life way before you actually make the move. You have quite a hobby and so do others. That might be the best place to start your journey. That’s what I’ve doing for now.

$90,000 is a ridiculously high price for that home. There’s barely a kitchen, lofted bedroom, tiny bathroom, and extremely small living area. Maybe form$50,000, but 90 Is crazy.

Nice video tour and a nice house but seems a bit overpriced to me. I remember when Randy of ITH showed this house. He said that the refrigerator would go where the W/D are located. I think that this layout is better, although living space is lost with the frig moved into the living area. It should sell without much trouble.
@@debdowell8006 I criticized this design when Randy Jones of ITH showed it, and the ITH cultists came after me and other critics with their pitchforks. Putting the refrigerator next to the bathroom seem to be ongoing ITH design flaw, but they think that it's great. It's a terrible design to start with, so you're just left with making the best of a bad situation

@@debdowell8006 Wood & Labor are both very high but the Amish do an amazing job. I would use that huge storage building, outside to put canned foods & plastic sealed bins with other food supplies. Clothes could be stored in the shed also, just organize well !😊

I don’t know if this is a Dalton model, but it is the same size and layout, and a new Dalton costs $69,900. So I think it would help to list the added value of the concrete slab and tie downs, the cement (?) skirting, the covered deck, fencing, and appliances. I’m sure those things add up to a lot of added value. But the refrigerator in the living room is a miss in my opinion. I wish the owner all the best in selling this home and moving to her new home❤️
@@karenjohnson6667 the thought of seeing a W/D near the cooking area in a little of the living room seems absurd. Who wants to see a big black eye staring out from the living room are? Much better down by the bathroom.
I agree that would be absurd. I would have a washer/dryer combo in the bathroom (where most people put it) and move the fridge to its intended location at the end of the kitchen. It would make the living room seem much more spacious.

You’d have to (and I have) stand to the side of them to open the door as the hall wall is too close to remove the clothes. Common sense is to move the washer and dryer so they were both accessible, and out of the living room. And, more common sense to have the fridge near the cook top. But, we each choose where everything goes.

It's 10ft wide, 200 square feet not including the loft so actually bigger than a lot of tiny homes that are only 8ft wide. But it comes down to personal preferences. Some people are happy in an 8x16 tiny, some people can't live in anything smaller than 400sq feet. And others prefer 1500 sq feet or larger. May not be for you, but it will make someone happy. Very reasonable lot rent considering the view.

It is a lovely home but really small! Can’t really move in the kitchen. Layout seems a bit off and I would be afraid I would get stuck . Not because of weight but one wrong turn and you could sprain or break an ankle. I can maybe see paying maybe $50,000-$60,000 but $90,000 is overpriced. However, the link to the other house that was 50,000 was from 2 years ago and prices all over for all types of items have gone up considerably. The owner of this home has put it on a cement pad. ( not cheap), she has added a cement skirting verses your usual skirting, she has fenced around it and has put down sod. She has also added a deck. Everything that she has done are additional expenses above and beyond the price of the home. So, that is something to consider when you look at the price.
I know the cost of things like labor and materials, and the added amenities and features make the house worth the asking price. And the lot, low rent, and view are priceless. I personalty think that this Dalton model is one of ITH's worst designs, and I would never buy it.

The only difference is the owner has added the bathroom sink. In the Dalton video Randy showed, , and on the website, it shows the refrigerator where the W/D is located, which is why I think that so many have commented that the refrigerator extends too far into the living area, as that was not the intended location for the frig.

You have to adapt to living tiny. I love the freedom it gives me to not have to deal with “stuff”, cleaning in a breeze and I don’t have a mortgage.
