I have had the pleasure of touring this home at this location. The home is absolutely gorgeous and a steal. There is more height in the loft than most other lofted homes ITH sells. And room for a *real* oven/range because of the kitchen layout. There is an endless, grassy meadow nearby for walking and the views are amazing. Very quiet and peaceful. Only about 5 miles from Newport. If I didn't already have arrangements with another home I'd have taken this one. Another fine video by Teresa.
I was just talking about this house the other day. 😂. I'm 5ft 3 in. I would still have to hump over. That is a lot of space upstairs to hump over for. I'd have to get a chair with rollers on it to crab walk around up there. I wonder if, when it's parked you could raise that roof. On some kind of hydrochlorics. Lol. Like a pop up.
What about all the mowing and snow shovelling. 5'9" is quite tall . This is a home I would walk in and coming out the owner. A house like lTH used to make. They certainly used 24' ft look big.
it wouldn't be a true bedroom, but looks like you could put a full size bed where the sofa is, and use one of the lofts for a lounge area. Or put a Murphy bed where the sofa is.
Love, love, love this particular home! Love the whitewash in the bathroom, so pretty. I love the L-shaped kitchen and the blue metal roof. And the upstairs is DOABLE because you can still walk, just not fully upright - and with 2 bedrooms! Or one could be an office or whatever. And it's priced to sell, especially when compared to some others priced recently (not necessarily your videos, ha). So, do you rent the lot it's on, then? I can't place where this is located, but no biggie because I can't purchase it anyways. Oh, but it would be tempting if I could! This is a 5-star place in my opinion, especially including the location. I don't know about others, but location is the second biggest drawback when it comes to considering purchasing any tiny home, because I don't want to move far from my family. It's been many years since I've lived close to family, and for the last few years, I've had that privilege and wouldn't be willing to give that up.
I wished they’d kept the kitchens like that and LuAnns it gives you more room I think I have to agree with an earlier commenter this is when they made the best homes. Where’s the washer/dryer?
@@marcyfalconer1275 I and many others would disagree with you. ITH makes you sign a NDA when you buy from them, under threat of lawsuit, saying that you won't post anything on social media that they don't like. No other company has anything at all like that, and it tells you that they have a lot to hide. The critical reviews that you see on social media are just the tip of the iceberg, since most people won't report problems over fear of being sued by the ITH mafia. Also, ITH's houses only come with a 30 day warranty, the shortest in the industry. Every other builder gives a one year warranty. The short warranty and NDA indicate that ITH doesn't have confidence or faith in the quality of their houses. And of course ITH's "reset", asking fewer unskilled workers to produce more in less time, will lead to a reduction in quality. So any notion that ITH still produces quality homes is laugh out loud ridiculous.
@@marcyfalconer1275 They do not! Companies that build quality homes don't force you to sign a NDA, under threat of lawsuit, if you make a critical comment on social media. There are already many comments and reviews critical of ITH on social media, so think of how many more there would be if people weren't threatened with being sued! And if their homes are so good, why only a 30 day warranty when every other builder gives a full year warranty? ITH knows they build junk; hence the NDA and almost non-existent warranty.
They have gradually taken things away slowly so people don't notice. The Randy racks, the tongue boxes, all the DIY you are expected to do. There are so many nicely built homes for less aand are completely finished.
"foam houses" lol I believe it was the assembly line that drew them to get away from the custom home builds, if I remember correctly. Then again, I've heard Randy tell a feel blatant lies in his time, so who knows what the real reason was. Could have been demand? Could just be the reality of being able to get better prices buying products in bulk.
The Craftsmen style that you see here takes twice the labor, time and material to build as the foam houses. The floors of the foam houses sit level with the top of the wheels, so no need for fenders around the wheels and the time-consuming and skill it takes to frame around the wheels. No real lofts in the foam houses, so that's a big difference in labor and materials etc. No need to put in insulation, as it's already in the panels. Electrical is easier because it is not in the walls. You need at least semi-skilled workers to build the Craftsmen, whereas a monkey could be trained to build the foam panel houses.
Is this the home the lady from Michigan was selling a ways back. Claiming this house was too big for her? And she did sell it so this is the second person selling it.
Same owner, but same house. Right? It’s identical right down to her jewelry hanging in the bathroom and white dresser under the stairs where the washer would go.
@@rhinestonesandwrinkles I stand corrected it was a very similar house the reason I thought it was the same they had the same outside stain color they had those same vertical Windows going up the stairs and they had the same double lofts and that house went for $89,000
