Of all the songs available in Midnight Club L.A., this was the one song that occupied most of my attention. I did some research on Social D only to discover that this amazing work of music was only one of many other amazing pieces. Thank you Rockstar for bringing Social D into my life, and thank you Social D for your wonderful music.
i was on a Social´D-concert in Hamburg and the guy said that there´s not allowed to smoke. This is not rockn´roll! But the drummer was awesome! Great musik wich follow me through my hole live.
I came here because I love Mike Ness and Social D but I think it's good that a lot of people came here from a video game because it will hopefully make them explore more of SD's music learn to love'em like the rest of us :)
I happened to remember this song today. And it hasn't changed since I last listened, in fact, it's probably even better. I've heard few songs like this that are as motivating as this.
sofakingshankadelic Well call me a poseur, whatever but I'll admit I discovered them around their s/t record. But there are some people who probably did see them before or around the Mommy's Little Monster era. Let's cut it out with the cynical 'punker than thou' shit. Grow up. Who gives a fuck. Enjoy the music.
s/t- self-titled. They played a show in Tempe a little while ago when I used to live to Arizona. It wasn't the greatest show but Social D have pretty much made their marks as legends on the (South)West so even if they play a mediocre show, it's still pretty sick compared to most bands playing these days.
Crazy... I heard this song on the radio a few years ago and thought it was by Bad Religion. I heard it again today when I watched season 7 episode 1 of the show "The Shield," and discovered that it was by Social Distortion. I had heard of them before, but now I know they're worth checking out. GREAT song!
This one song started and avalanche for me 1 year ago when I first heard that song on radio I never knew what band it was. Only with help of google (I remembered some words) I found Social D and I consider myself a fan from that day ;P
Life's a beautiful thing, even in the pits of hell you can still find something to make you smile. Even in your darkest hour you can find a bit of light. Mike Ness is an awesome writer and he still doesn't get the recognition he deserves. He has helped me through my last break-up and let me tell you, It hurt. His lyrics give me hope, but sometimes they make me cry...
I compete downhill skiing. When I rip through gates skiing GS this song gets me to move at mach 10000000000000000000000!!!!!!!!! I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!!!
fucking dope! These guys were my favorite 23 years ago, can't believe it's still going, nobody had a clue who they were back then. thanks for keeping us in another state of mind! (yeah, I know it's cheesy, fuck off)
This song was dedicated to the member od long-time guitarist Dennis Dannell, who died sudenly of a heart attack in 2000 at the too -young age of 38.He was my age.
